The WNBA has reached the midseason break, marked by the All-Star Game and the Paris Olympics. After the wave of attention and hype surrounding the rookie seasons of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, we all probably need a breather. Nevertheless, there is still much to be discussed, so we caught up with author and writer, Lyndsey D'Arcangelo to find out more about the latest from the W:
- Nii Wallace-Bruce chatted with Lyndsey D'arcangelo about the All-Star Game as well as the competitive rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
- Lyndsey also explained the new television rights deal for the league, set to be a massive increase vs the current agreement.
- Further, Lyndsey gave insights into how the league will expand in the near future, with Toronto and the Bay Area at the front of the queue.
- Finally, Lyndsey shared her view on the upcoming women's basketball competition at Paris as well as how the rest of the WNBA season might pan out.
