The message titled "Anointed Hands That Create Wealth" addresses the vital connection between divine anointing and practical responsibility in our endeavors. It emphasizes that the Holy Spirit's empowerment extends beyond the confines of spiritual activities, manifesting in our work through skill, competence, and mastery. The sermon challenges the listener to confront the spirits of laziness and excuses that hinder productivity, urging a return to foundational principles such as diligence, consistency, and the pursuit of excellence. Furthermore, it elucidates the biblical premise that value creation leads to wealth, asserting that love for others and God compels us to deliver our utmost quality in all tasks. Ultimately, this discourse invites us to recognize that our hands are anointed for purpose, encouraging us to cultivate systems and strategies that reflect this divine empowerment. The sermon titled "Anointed Hands That Create Wealth" addresses the profound connection between spiritual anointing and practical diligence, emphasizing the necessity of skill, excellence, and responsibility in the pursuit of wealth. The preacher begins by confronting the detrimental spirits of laziness and spiritual excuses that hinder many from realizing their God-given potential. He challenges listeners to recognize that the Holy Spirit is not merely present in church but is also bestowed upon individuals to empower their work and craftsmanship. Citing Exodus 35:31, the preacher highlights that true evidence of being filled with the Spirit manifests not in emotional displays but in the quality and excellence of one’s work. This notion sets the foundation for a robust theological and practical exploration of how believers can align their actions with divine purpose, demonstrating that spiritual anointing must be accompanied by diligent practice and skill development. Throughout the sermon, the preacher articulates key biblical principles, including the idea that anointing does not negate personal responsibility. He asserts that favor from God amplifies excellence rather than substituting for it, urging listeners to cultivate skill and competence in their respective fields. The exploration of Proverbs 22:29 serves to illustrate that skill opens doors to opportunities, reinforcing the idea that diligence is a precursor to divine favor. The preacher also delves into the economics of the kingdom, proposing that true wealth is the result of value creation, a concept rooted in the biblical narrative of work being a divine mandate rather than a curse. By framing work as a sacred calling, he encourages believers to pursue excellence in their endeavors, affirming that their actions in the marketplace can be acts of worship. Furthermore, the sermon culminates in a powerful reflection on the parable of the talents from Matthew 25, where the consequences of fear and inactivity are starkly portrayed. The preacher calls upon the congregation to reject fear as an excuse for inaction, emphasizing that God rewards those who multiply their gifts rather than bury them. This teaching is underpinned by a call for integrity and trustworthiness in handling worldly wealth, suggesting that true prosperity is contingent upon ethical stewardship. Concluding with practical applications, the sermon challenges listeners to develop systems for managing their time and resources effectively, thereby inviting them to actively participate in the work of God within their lives. The overarching message is clear: anointed hands are not idle; they are hands that produce, bless, and multiply.
Takeaways:
Brothers and sisters, today I'm coming for two spirits.
Speaker A:The spirit of laziness and the spirit of spiritual excuses.
Speaker A:Because some of you have been praying for what God already told you to practice.
Speaker A:You've been fasting for what God already told you to learn.
Speaker A:You've been rebuking demons when the real demon is disorder.
Speaker A:Somebody say order.
Speaker A:Somebody say excellence.
Speaker A:Somebody say skill.
Speaker A:Now listen carefully.
Speaker A:The message is titled Anointed Hands that Create Wealth.
Speaker A:And I'm going to show you something in the Bible that will bless you and offend you at the same time.
Speaker A:Because the Holy Spirit does not anoint preachers.
Speaker A:He anoints builders.
Speaker A:He anoints craftsmen.
Speaker A:He anoints leaders, planners, designers and problem solvers.
Speaker A:Say this with me.
Speaker A:My hands are anointed.
Speaker A:My mind is anointed.
Speaker A:My work will glorify God.
Speaker A:Point 1.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit is not just for church.
Speaker A:He is for work.
Speaker A:Let's go to Exodus 35, 31, chapter 35, verse 31.
Speaker A:He was filled.
Speaker A:And he has filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
Speaker A:Stop right there.
Speaker A:Filled with the Spirit.
Speaker A:And what's the evidence?
Speaker A:Not tongues, not just tears, not just chills or vibes, but workmanship.
Speaker A:God filled Bazazel with the Spirit to do detailed work for the house of God.
Speaker A:Meaning God's spirit can rest on a person's hands to produce excellence.
Speaker A:So if you've ever said, I want the anointing, here is one of the most ignored forms of skill, competence and mastery.
Speaker A:Look at your hands and say, these hands are not ordinary.
Speaker A:Tell the person next to you or the person you listen to this message with, God will use my hands.
Speaker A:Now, some of you are waiting for a prophecy.
Speaker A:When God is waiting for you to go back to the basics.
Speaker A:Show up on time, deliver quality, be consistent, learn the craft and steward the gift.
Speaker A:Because the Holy Spirit is not just the spirit of power.
Speaker A:He's the spirit of wisdom.
Speaker A:And wisdom makes wealth king, not crooked.
Speaker A:Point 2.
Speaker A:Anointing does not cancel responsibility.
Speaker A:Let me say this plainly.
Speaker A:God will anoint you, but he will not babysit you.
Speaker A:Some people want favor as a substitute for discipline.
Speaker A:But favor is not a replacement for excellence.
Speaker A:Favor is an amplifier of excellence.
Speaker A:You know why some believers keep losing opportunities?
Speaker A:It's not always witchcraft.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's poor workmanship.
Speaker A:Proverbs 22, 29.
Speaker A:Do you see someone skilled in their work?
Speaker A:They will serve before kings.
Speaker A:Notice what opens the door to Kings.
Speaker A:Skill.
Speaker A:It's not hype.
Speaker A:It's not Connections.
Speaker A:It's not I know a guy, its skill.
Speaker A:Somebody say upgrade.
Speaker A:Somebody say improve.
Speaker A:Say this with me, I'm getting better.
Speaker A:And let us be helped here.
Speaker A:God is not threatened by your education.
Speaker A:God is not offended by your certifications.
Speaker A:God is not allergic to your training.
Speaker A:If anything, training is stewardship.
Speaker A:Because when your gift is untrained, you you leak money.
Speaker A:When your mind is untrained, you leak opportunities.
Speaker A:When your character is untrained, you leak relationships.
Speaker A:Point 3.
Speaker A:Values create wealth and love creates value.
Speaker A:Let's talk kingdom economics.
Speaker A:Wealth is often the reward for value creation.
Speaker A:The Bible says in Genesis 2:15, the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to take care of it.
Speaker A:Because before there was sin, there was work.
Speaker A:Work is not a curse.
Speaker A:Work is a calling.
Speaker A:The curse made were painful and sweaty.
Speaker A:But work itself is divine.
Speaker A:So when you say I'm spiritual, but you're sloppy, something is wrong.
Speaker A:Because the spirit produces fruit and fruit is evidence of life.
Speaker A:And here's the Love makes you excellent.
Speaker A:If you love people, you won't give them cheap quality.
Speaker A:If you love God, you won't give them lazy service.
Speaker A:Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men.
Speaker A:That means your workplace is a pulpit.
Speaker A:Your customer service is worship.
Speaker A:Your consistency is a sermon.
Speaker A:Tell somebody, my job is not secular, My job is sacred.4.
Speaker A:The Parable of the God rewards multiplication, not excuses.
Speaker A:Now let's go to Matthew 25, the parable of the talents.
Speaker A:God gives one servant five, one, two and one one.
Speaker A:The five multiplied, the two multiplied, but the one buried it.
Speaker A:And what did he say?
Speaker A:I was afraid.
Speaker A:Meaning fear made him unproductive.
Speaker A:Now watch this.
Speaker A:Fear doesn't only make you anxious, fear makes you unfruitful.
Speaker A:Fear doesn't only steal joy, fear steals income.
Speaker A:Fear doesn't only attack faith, fear attacks initiative.
Speaker A:And the Master called the servant wicked and lazy.
Speaker A: Check out Matthew: Speaker A:That's Bible.
Speaker A:That's not just an opinion.
Speaker A:So stop calling fear humility.
Speaker A:Stop calling delay wisdom and stop calling laziness.
Speaker A:Waiting on God.
Speaker A:Somebody say, I refuse to bury my gift.
Speaker A:Say this, I will multiply.
Speaker A:Because heaven is not just looking for gifted people.
Speaker A:Heaven is looking for fruitful people.
Speaker A:God doesn't measure potential, he rewards stewardship.
Speaker A:If you bury what God gave you, you're not being safe, you are being disobedient.
Speaker A:Integrity protects increase.
Speaker A:Now let's balance it.
Speaker A:Because we're not raising greedy Christians.
Speaker A:We're raising holy builders.
Speaker A: Luke: Speaker A:Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.
Speaker A:If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
Speaker A:So prosperity has a gatekeeper trust.
Speaker A:God doesn't just release money.
Speaker A:He releases money to people he can trust.
Speaker A:Now that means if you lie, money will expose you.
Speaker A:If you cheat, money will amplify you.
Speaker A:If you're proud, money will ruin you.
Speaker A:If you can't be corrected, money, money will Destroy you.
Speaker A:Proverbs 11:1 says that the Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favour with Him.
Speaker A:Some of you are rebuking devils, but you need to repent for crookedness because you can't pray your way into blessing while you're robbing people.
Speaker A:Say this with me, keep it clean.
Speaker A:There are no shortcuts.
Speaker A:Point number six.
Speaker A:Anointed hands look like systems.
Speaker A:Let's get practical.
Speaker A:Anointed hands don't only do miracles.
Speaker A:Anointed hands build systems.
Speaker A:Noah built an ark system.
Speaker A:Joseph built a storage system.
Speaker A:Nehemiah built a rebuilding system.
Speaker A:The early church built a generosity system.
Speaker A:Paul built a mission system.
Speaker A:So if your life has no system, you'll keep praying the same prayers every month.
Speaker A:Lord come through and God is like, I already gave you wisdom, now build structure.
Speaker A:Here are simple systems.
Speaker A:A written budget, a giving plan, savings habit, debt reduction steps, a skills development schedule, mentorship, time blocks and accountability.
Speaker A:Say this with me.
Speaker A:I am building systems and order is my deliverance.
Speaker A:Because sometimes a curse is not spiritual, sometimes it's mathematical.
Speaker A:You can't spend more money than you earn.
Speaker A:Pray in tongues and call it warfare.
Speaker A:At some point you need wisdom.
Speaker A:Here are some applicable lessons we can take for believers.
Speaker A:Let's ask God for wisdom, then honor it with training and consistency.
Speaker A:Now let's treat our gifts like a seed.
Speaker A:We'll plant it, water it and then grow it.
Speaker A:Let's get a system for money and time.
Speaker A:Because anointing flows through structure for our ministry and work and our family.
Speaker A:Parents, teach your children work ethic and stewardship, not entitlement leaders.
Speaker A:Let's reward excellence with correct sloppiness and model integrity for ministry.
Speaker A:Let's build sustainable systems so that we don't beg every year.
Speaker A:Brothers and sisters, let's hear this warning.
Speaker A:If you love money, it will pierce you.
Speaker A:If you chase wealth without wisdom, you will suffer sorrow.
Speaker A:But if you pursue God and steward skilfully, he adds no sorrow.
Speaker A:Lets say this with love.
Speaker A:God will not anoint your chaos.
Speaker A:He will deliver you from it if you surrender Here are some questions for reflection Question one Where do I need to grow in skill and excellence so my gift becomes value?
Speaker A:2 what fear has made me bury my talent?
Speaker A:Is it rejection, failure, comparison or even shame?
Speaker A:And three what system is needed to build this week?
Speaker A:Training, budget, schedule, calendar, accountability so that you can steward your increase?
Speaker A:Let us pray Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you that your spirit gives wisdom, understanding, knowledge and workmanship Anoint our hands for clean increase Anoint our minds for strategy Anoint our hearts for integrity Deliver us from laziness, fear and excuses Teach us to multiply what you put in our lives, our time, our gifts, our money and our opportunities make us trustworthy with little so you can trust us with much Let our work become workmanship Let our excellence become testimony Let our prosperity become purpose In Jesus name amen Brothers and sisters don't bury a gift, multiply it because anointed hands don't just pray they produce.
