“A Gentle Rustling of Leaves”

Please enjoy:

by Nenekiri Bookwyrm

Please enjoy:

A wind, gentle and chilling,

Please enjoy:

swept through the discarded leaves on the forest floor.

Please enjoy:

Autumn was here once again in the realms of mortal men.

Please enjoy:

But there are realms beyond that of those that can be perceived with the naked eye.

Please enjoy:

Truly here, was where our story began.

Please enjoy:

It always started

Please enjoy:

as a sense of form.

Please enjoy:

Fuzzy, though not with fur.

Please enjoy:

Unshaped and formless.

Please enjoy:

The wind would blow through leaves all day

Please enjoy:

and none would feel a thing.

Please enjoy:

Until one clung to the breeze a little too tightly.

Please enjoy:

Then another and another.

Please enjoy:

And soon enough, a swirling pile of leaves would be carried by the wind.

Please enjoy:

The form now, though fluid and changing, was starting to take a shape

Please enjoy:

amidst the greens and yellows of the leaves.

Please enjoy:

A tail behind and a muzzle in front

Please enjoy:

as it raced along the countryside through the early morning dew.

Please enjoy:

If one was versed in the ways of forest spirits,

Please enjoy:

it would have looked for all the world

Please enjoy:

to be a fox in those swirling leaves and wind.

Please enjoy:

Her name, it came to her as if waking from a dream.

Please enjoy:

And she knew at once, it was Selene.

Please enjoy:

She was once again

Please enjoy:

alive to run through the world anew.

Please enjoy:

It was a queer circumstance to have so much knowledge about herself so soon after waking.

Please enjoy:

Though she paid it no mind.

Please enjoy:

It was the way of animals to know things innately,

Please enjoy:

why should she be any different?

Please enjoy:

She knew as well

Please enjoy:

that her time here was short.

Please enjoy:

A season at most, if she was lucky.

Please enjoy:

She resolved to leave no meadow unfrolicked in

Please enjoy:

that the wind would carry her over.

Please enjoy:

As she ran, her coat changed colors with the shifting of the leaves.

Please enjoy:

Sometimes it would be more green and yellow,

Please enjoy:

where the leaves were still freshly fallen.

Please enjoy:

Other times it was a bright orange and red,

Please enjoy:

streaking a sunset across the sky.

Please enjoy:

She only slowed when the wind would die down.

Please enjoy:

Settling her leaves into the earth for a quick nap before

Please enjoy:

she was whisked up

Please enjoy:

and away again. Often

Please enjoy:

she would play games with the fae and faeries of the forests on her journey.

Please enjoy:

They liked to fly around her

Please enjoy:

and between her legs as she skipped and pranced through the flowers.

Please enjoy:

The fae taught her secret games that only spirits could play

Please enjoy:

and she relished in the warmth of making new friends.

Please enjoy:

Truly, a gayer celebration had not been seen since the return of springtime.

Please enjoy:

She did not want to leave her new friends,

Please enjoy:

but the wind carried her off all the same.

Please enjoy:

And so she ran with it, instead of against it.

Please enjoy:

For there is no greater fool’s errand

Please enjoy:

than to try and fight the wind.

Please enjoy:

She came across an odd shape near the edge of a lake

Please enjoy:

and gratefully, the wind blew her in the direction of it.

Please enjoy:

As she came closer,

Please enjoy:

she noticed something

Please enjoy:

quite peculiar. The shape was that of a dog, that much was clear.

Please enjoy:

But of the particular breeding, Selene could not determine.

Please enjoy:

If she tilted her face one way it was clearly a bulldog,

Please enjoy:

but in the next moment it could be a collie.

Please enjoy:

Beagle seemed to be the most consistent from what she could surmise.

Please enjoy:

In all cases, the coat was brown and black

Please enjoy:

and the dog stood proudly at attention.

Please enjoy:

Even stranger, the dog stood on the water of the lake.

Please enjoy:

Selene tried her best to speak with her voice,

Please enjoy:

though it often came out as thin and crackly. “Good day fine fellow!

Please enjoy:

Might I have your acquaintance?”

Please enjoy:

The dog looked over to the outline of Selene

Please enjoy:

and her leaves and gave a small nod.

Please enjoy:

He walked across the lake until he was standing at its edge.

Please enjoy:

A small bow later

Please enjoy:

and he was talking as well.

Please enjoy:

His voice carried like currents to Selene

Please enjoy:

and just as quickly washed away.

Please enjoy:

“Good day to you too, forest spirit.

Please enjoy:

You’ve caught me at a good time,

Please enjoy:

I’m enjoying my leisure.”

Please enjoy:

“What do you call yourself?

Please enjoy:

Are you of the River?”

Please enjoy:

At this the dog laughed.

Please enjoy:

“You’ll have to excuse me if I don’t trust giving my true name to the faefolk.

Please enjoy:

But yes, in a sense, I am of a river.”

Please enjoy:

If offense was to be taken at his tone,

Please enjoy:

Selene did not notice.

Please enjoy:

“It’s nice to meet you all the same.

Please enjoy:

I’m Selene!” Selene

Please enjoy:

let the wind blow through her

Please enjoy:

and her leaves fell gently on the surface of the water.

Please enjoy:

“Is this your river?”

Please enjoy:

“No, far from it.” “You said you were at leisure,

Please enjoy:

but you look to be guarding something.”

Please enjoy:

“Quite perceptive,

Please enjoy:

but a coincidence I assure you.

Please enjoy:

Occupational habits are hard to break.”

Please enjoy:

“What, then, is your occupation?”

Please enjoy:

“Why do you care to know?”

Please enjoy:

“I’ve not had one myself,

Please enjoy:

but to look at your posture they must be dreadfully stressful!”

Please enjoy:

Selene barked a laugh,

Please enjoy:

but the dog was joyless.

Please enjoy:

He looked down at her and said in a low growl,

Please enjoy:

“You’ve no idea.” Without missing a beat,

Please enjoy:

Selene cocked her head towards the dog.

Please enjoy:

“Then tell me in the most detail you can muster!

Please enjoy:

It sounds as though it weighs on you.

Please enjoy:

Better to tell now

Please enjoy:

then to let your worries sink you later.”

Please enjoy:

The dog sighed but sat down on the water next to Selene.

Please enjoy:

“How familiar are you with the space beyond death?”

Please enjoy:

Selene had to think on it a moment,

Please enjoy:

but replied, “I’ve a feeling I might have been there once but the memory fades even now.”

Please enjoy:

The dog nodded his head,

Please enjoy:

“Spirits come and go, but mortals stay.

Please enjoy:

It’s my job to help them cross the river Styx on their way over.

Please enjoy:

I’m Charon’s guide dog.”

Please enjoy:

Selene could not contain her excitement.

Please enjoy:

“I’m talking with the Cerberus!

Please enjoy:

But where are your other heads?”

Please enjoy:

The dog shook his head no.

Please enjoy:

“You’re thinking of Hades.

Please enjoy:

Different fellow entirely, I assure you.

Please enjoy:

Charon pilots the ferry for the mortals to the land beyond.”

Please enjoy:

“Oh, I see. But then, what do you do?”

Please enjoy:

“The water there is colder than ice and runs deeper than a mountain.

Please enjoy:

If a mortal falls in,

Please enjoy:

I am their lifeboat back to the surface.

Please enjoy:

They can grab onto me

Please enjoy:

and I will never sink.”

Please enjoy:

“Are so many mortals prone to diving into the lake of the dead?”

Please enjoy:

“You would be surprised.”

Please enjoy:

“That must get woefully tiresome.” “Absolutely! It is such a burden that I can not even enjoy my leisure.

Please enjoy:

Even now I am staring out across this lake anticipating some fool to fall in!”

Please enjoy:

His paws were up around his eyes

Please enjoy:

and Selene could sense his frustration.

Please enjoy:

She pondered for a moment before coming up

Please enjoy:

with an ingenious plan.

Please enjoy:

She turned to the distressed dog and said,

Please enjoy:

“I know just what you need!

Please enjoy:

It will relax you assuredly.”

Please enjoy:

She motioned for him to follow her to the edge of the lake that had many stones and pebbles

Please enjoy:

stacked up along its bank.

Please enjoy:

“I’m going to teach you a game that the fairies taught me.”

Please enjoy:

She bent her neck down

Please enjoy:

and made a motion as if to grab one of the rocks in her mouth,

Please enjoy:

then flung her head to the side over the lake.

Please enjoy:

“Now you try!” The dog looked skeptical,

Please enjoy:

but did as Selene instructed

Please enjoy:

and picked up a rock in his mouth.

Please enjoy:

With a gentle toss,

Please enjoy:

it went sailing out over the water and

Please enjoy:

skipped a few times before sinking into the lake.

Please enjoy:

The dog only seemed more confused

Please enjoy:

until Selene explained,

Please enjoy:

“You count the times the stone has skipped on the water.

Please enjoy:

And the best part?

Please enjoy:

You’re allowed to let them sink!”

Please enjoy:

The dog smiled in surprise

Please enjoy:

and bewilderment as he chucked rock

Please enjoy:

after rock into the lake.

Please enjoy:

Skipping stones as fast as he could pick them up.

Please enjoy:

Selene danced around the ripples that would form in the water

Please enjoy:

and before long, he was chasing after her across the lake.

Please enjoy:

They bounded past each other

Please enjoy:

as the dog ran into and through the cloud of leaves that was Selene.

Please enjoy:

They carried on this way, skipping stones

Please enjoy:

and chasing each other

Please enjoy:

until the moon was high above them in the sky.

Please enjoy:

Exhausted and spent,

Please enjoy:

the dog lay on his back in the middle of the lake.

Please enjoy:

“That was the most I’ve enjoyed my leisure in years.

Please enjoy:

Thank you, Selene.”

Please enjoy:

“I should be thanking you!

Please enjoy:

I’m used to the feeling of my wind through the prairie grass,

Please enjoy:

but running along the water was entirely new for me.”

Please enjoy:

She turned to face the dog once more

Please enjoy:

and found him fast asleep.

Please enjoy:

What’s more, she could feel the wind stirring her on someplace else.

Please enjoy:

Before she let herself be carried away,

Please enjoy:

she left enough of her leaves as a blanket to keep him warm.

Please enjoy:

She did not recognize the forest she had found herself in.

Please enjoy:

It was unlike any she had seen before.

Please enjoy:

The trees seemed to grow upside down here.

Please enjoy:

With the roots extending out into the sky and the tree tops planted firmly in the ground.

Please enjoy:

The sunlight shone brightly through the gaps

Please enjoy:

in the odd canopy

Please enjoy:

and Selene could see the forest’s floor quite well.

Please enjoy:

The ground she was walking on consisted of leaves

Please enjoy:

and when she would shuffle through some they would break off

Please enjoy:

and float upward into the sky.

Please enjoy:

She walked this way between the trees,

Please enjoy:

until she came unto a clearing of sorts.

Please enjoy:

The trees thinned out and a line of them on either side could be seen leading her up to a strangely shaped tree in the center.

Please enjoy:

The first thing she noticed was the size of it.

Please enjoy:

It was easily the biggest in the forest

Please enjoy:

and must have been here for centuries.

Please enjoy:

When she was close enough to walk around its base, she could make out the shape of a face resting on the trunk of the tree.

Please enjoy:

Stranger still, this tree was the only one in the entire forest that was right-side up.

Please enjoy:

It’s canopy was filled not with leaves,

Please enjoy:

but with beautiful pink

Please enjoy:

and white blossoms.

Please enjoy:

Selene could not help but to stare at the wondrous flowers.

Please enjoy:

So transfixed was she,

Please enjoy:

that she did not notice the face on the trunk

Please enjoy:

begin to stir. There was a grumbling and a mumbling as old eyes blinked slowly open.

Please enjoy:

Showing a current of blue water pupil

Please enjoy:

running through an iris of moss.

Please enjoy:

A gentle cracking could be heard as the face’s mouth

Please enjoy:

opened up and showed the bright orange

Please enjoy:

of freshly stripped bark underneath.

Please enjoy:

Still feeling the effects of their long sleep, the tree shook their head

Please enjoy:

back and forth to wake themselves up,

Please enjoy:

whipping the vines that adorned their head frantically.

Please enjoy:

At this, Selene cried out and ran to hide in the nearest pile of leaves.

Please enjoy:

But to her surprise,

Please enjoy:

the tree spoke kindly to her.

Please enjoy:

Their voice was low, as if from the earth itself,

Please enjoy:

and they spoke in a manner not dissimilar to syrup dripping down bark.

Please enjoy:

“Do not fear, little one.

Please enjoy:

I mean no harm. You may come out.”

Please enjoy:

Selene crept slowly from her hiding place,

Please enjoy:

until the wind pushed her leaves more forcefully towards the base of the trunk.

Please enjoy:

Now that she was looking at them,

Please enjoy:

she could tell what the face reminded her of.

Please enjoy:

It was a memory buried deep in her,

Please enjoy:

but one she knew all the same.

Please enjoy:

The face was more of a snout

Please enjoy:

and the shape looked quite like a large lizard.

Please enjoy:

The word for “dragon” popped into her head,

Please enjoy:

but it still felt off somehow.

Please enjoy:

“Ah, one of the Wind’s children.

Please enjoy:

You’ve nothing to fear,

Please enjoy:

I welcome all into this grove.

Please enjoy:

grove.” “Thank you, Old One.

Please enjoy:

I did not mean to intrude.

Please enjoy:

The wind carried me here and I’m

Please enjoy:

ever so sorry for waking you.”

Please enjoy:

“No trouble at all.

Please enjoy:

It has been some time since I’ve had company.” “Then I am happy to give it!”

Please enjoy:

And at this Selene brightened considerably.

Please enjoy:

She began to run around the base of the tree and chase her tail

Please enjoy:

and scamper about the roots of the Old One.

Please enjoy:

When she was tired of her frolic, she sat on her haunches in front of their face.

Please enjoy:

“I am called Selene,

Please enjoy:

and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

Please enjoy:

“You’ve got the spirit of the Wind, that is for certain.

Please enjoy:

But I am not familiar with your form.

Please enjoy:

What body are your leaves an imprint of?”

Please enjoy:

“Surely you jest, I am certain you must have seen a fox before

Please enjoy:

I?” “On the contrary, you are the first.

Please enjoy:

I must admit it is a lovely form.

Please enjoy:

Suits you and her well.”

Please enjoy:

“Begging your pardon,

Please enjoy:

but your form is curious to me as well.

Please enjoy:

You are a tree,

Please enjoy:

but also a great lizard.

Please enjoy:

I know of dragons, but I thought they cavorted openly with Fire.”

Please enjoy:

“They are relatives, of a sort.

Please enjoy:

Would do them well to remember when they were of the Earth, but it’s not my place to say.”

Please enjoy:

“Are you lonely here?”

Please enjoy:

Selene looked around the forest

Please enjoy:

as if to indicate a great truth she had just discovered.

Please enjoy:

“None of the other trees I passed could talk.”

Please enjoy:

“They can speak, I assure you.

Please enjoy:

You cannot hear them, for the language has been lost to age.”

Please enjoy:

“Do they speak fair of me?”

Please enjoy:

“They speak no ill.”

Please enjoy:

“Just as well then!”

Please enjoy:

Selene looked down

Please enjoy:

and could see that some of the blossoms from the Old One had fallen to the forest’s floor from when it had woken up.

Please enjoy:

She longed to hold one in her paws,

Please enjoy:

but was unsure if the wind would allow her.

Please enjoy:

She turned to the Old One

Please enjoy:

and smiled. “I must say that your foliage is exquisitely beautiful!

Please enjoy:

If I could, I would carry it in my body and show the rest of the world your beauty.”

Please enjoy:

“By all means, take as many as you can hold. I’ve no objection.”

Please enjoy:

"I've not lifted blossoms before, only leaves.

Please enjoy:

What if I'm unable?"

Please enjoy:

"Selene, you shall never truly know until you try.

Please enjoy:

Impossibility is a word of those who do not dare to try.

Please enjoy:

try." Truly, the tree was wise.

Please enjoy:

As Selene swirled her form through the pink and white blossoms at her feet,

Please enjoy:

they became a part of her.

Please enjoy:

Mixing and floating with the leaves of her body.

Please enjoy:

"Old One! I've done it!

Please enjoy:

Oh look how pretty it is when I swish my tail!"

Please enjoy:

The dragon in the tree smiled.

Please enjoy:

Orange bark cracking as the corners of their mouth pulled back in joy.

Please enjoy:

"My blossoms are most becoming on you, Selene.

Please enjoy:

You've given me a great gift today.

Please enjoy:

today." “I wish I could repay the kindness, Old One.”

Please enjoy:

“Your presence is gift enough, Selene.”

Please enjoy:

She wanted to stay, but she could feel the wind pushing through her again.

Please enjoy:

With a bark and a laugh,

Please enjoy:

she ran past the Old One

Please enjoy:

and out into the unknown.

Please enjoy:

One day, as she was running through a particularly pretty patch of wildflowers,

Please enjoy:

she saw a figure walking along the side of the prairie.

Please enjoy:

The figure was an animal, most certainly,

Please enjoy:

but it seemed to stay close to the sides of the trail.

Please enjoy:

Domestics rarely found themselves this far out in the country

Please enjoy:

and so Selene resolved to meet this odd fellow.

Please enjoy:

As she ran up and through him,

Please enjoy:

his fur bristled out in all directions,

Please enjoy:

catching some of her wayward leaves in the process.

Please enjoy:

Once she had reformed in front of him,

Please enjoy:

she could see him clearly.

Please enjoy:

He was a tom, medium length fur,

Please enjoy:

and had a bright red collar tied around his neck.

Please enjoy:

He was busy picking the leaves out of his fur as she introduced herself.

Please enjoy:

“Good morrow, humble tom.

Please enjoy:

I am called Selene.

Please enjoy:

What, pray tell, is your name?”

Please enjoy:

Instead of looking annoyed,

Please enjoy:

the tom actually looked grateful.

Please enjoy:

It was as if Selene was the first to treat him with common manners in a long time.

Please enjoy:

“Good day to you Selene.”

Please enjoy:

He took a pause to bow slightly.

Please enjoy:

“I am a mouser by trade

Please enjoy:

and though I had another name at one time,

Please enjoy:

I have recently taken on the moniker of

Please enjoy:

Mouser." "What unhappy circumstance caused you to forget your name?"

Please enjoy:

At this, Mouser threw his head back and mewled a desperate cry.

Please enjoy:

"Alas, I have been cursed!"

Please enjoy:

"Cursed?" "Aye, cursed. Ate a strange looking mouse and now am naught but invisible in the nighttime.

Please enjoy:

Should have known from the aftertaste it was to be my ruin.

Please enjoy:

ruin." Selene looked confused and tilted her head to one side.

Please enjoy:

“But you are quite present to mine eyes?”

Please enjoy:

“True, but the afternoon Sun is still high in the sky.

Please enjoy:

At night my fur becomes as a shade

Please enjoy:

and the moonlight keeps me from being seen.

Please enjoy:

My family hasn't been able to find me since.

Please enjoy:

They only search at night

Please enjoy:

and they cannot see me no matter how hard I meow.

Please enjoy:

If only they would search in the light of the sun,

Please enjoy:

they would see me plain.”

Please enjoy:

Selene could see the sadness in Mouser’s eyes

Please enjoy:

and she resolved there and then

Please enjoy:

to reunite him with his kin.

Please enjoy:

“Where do they live Mouser?

Please enjoy:

Perhaps the faeries could show us the way.”

Please enjoy:

“I do not remember!

Please enjoy:

I’ve been lost so long I can not recall my way back.

Please enjoy:

And these wilds are so vexing in their trickery that I have turned around

Please enjoy:

too many a number to count.”

Please enjoy:

“Is there nothing you can remember of your family at all?”

Please enjoy:

Mouser put a paw to his chin and thought a while, before his eyes lit up with the answer.

Please enjoy:

“They lived near a stone building and would always smell of burnt wheat because of it.

Please enjoy:

I’ve not been able to find the scent since.”

Please enjoy:

“Then I shall find the scent

Please enjoy:

and bring you back to them!”

Please enjoy:

"I think it is not possible!

Please enjoy:

I have been lost from them for 3 years hence.

Please enjoy:

Surely they will have moved away?"

Please enjoy:

At this Selene laughed,

Please enjoy:

"I am an impossibility dear

Please enjoy:

Mouser. Let me at least try.

Please enjoy:

Hold hope in your heart for a week more?"

Please enjoy:

Reluctantly, Mouser agreed

Please enjoy:

and Selene was off on the wind to search out the smell.

Please enjoy:

Selene was familiar with the scent of wheat, having played in the fields near the towns before.

Please enjoy:

But burnt wheat was a different thing entire.

Please enjoy:

She thought she had come close a few times, but saw no buildings near her.

Please enjoy:

Then, by chance, she was carried aloft by a strong gust of wind

Please enjoy:

and found herself in a town she had not seen before.

Please enjoy:

Sly devil, her mother had been searching too.

Please enjoy:

For as soon as she picked up her nose to sniff at the air,

Please enjoy:

she could smell the burnt wheat.

Please enjoy:

Following it, she arrived before a great stone building with a sign out front.

Please enjoy:

The sign read “Bakery”

Please enjoy:

and next to it was a small cottage

Please enjoy:

with a lively family inside.

Please enjoy:

Selene was glad to have found Mouser’s family,

Please enjoy:

but she was uncertain of how to direct him here.

Please enjoy:

Then, an idea sprang to mind.

Please enjoy:

She could lead his family to him.

Please enjoy:

After all, she knew the country much better than any town.

Please enjoy:

She waited until their youngest child,

Please enjoy:

a tot of no more than three or four,

Please enjoy:

was left to play alone.

Please enjoy:

She danced around her

Please enjoy:

and led the giggling child

Please enjoy:

out into the country.

Please enjoy:

Making sure never to lose sight of her as she led her farther away from the town.

Please enjoy:

As she walked, she left a breadcrumb trail of bright red leaves for the family to follow.

Please enjoy:

If her guess was correct,

Please enjoy:

the family would search for the child

Please enjoy:

and be reunited in whole.

Please enjoy:

When she came at last upon Mouser,

Please enjoy:

he was slumped against the side of the trail in a fit of despair.

Please enjoy:

Seeing the tot next to Selene seemed to rouse him from his reverie

Please enjoy:

as he bolted up and ran over to her.

Please enjoy:

“Selene! I’d given you up for good.

Please enjoy:

Who have you brought with you?”

Please enjoy:

“I was hoping you’d be able to tell me.

Please enjoy:

I found them with your family in the town.”

Please enjoy:

Mouser looked closer at the child

Please enjoy:

and gasped in shock.

Please enjoy:

“Why, this is little Tabitha!

Please enjoy:

I had last seen her as a babe in swaddling cloth.”

Please enjoy:

Tabitha, seeing finally the cat in front of her,

Please enjoy:

began to pet Mouser in the way that children do when they are not aware of the correct methods of petting.

Please enjoy:

Despite this, Mouser purred all the same.

Please enjoy:

And from the ridge,

Please enjoy:

shapes came running towards the sound of his contented purr.

Please enjoy:

The mother, father, and three other children scooped them both up in their arms and showered them with equal kisses

Please enjoy:

and scolding. Mouser cried

Please enjoy:

in elation as he was lost no more.

Please enjoy:

Selene’s heart was warmed at the sight of their reunion.

Please enjoy:

She allowed herself one rudeness

Please enjoy:

and left without goodbye,

Please enjoy:

so as not to spoil their moment together.

Please enjoy:

The season had grown colder these past weeks.

Please enjoy:

Though she did not wish to admit it to herself, Selene knew her time in this realm was ending.

Please enjoy:

The leaves that made up her body were dry and brittle.

Please enjoy:

No autumn breeze could lift her

Please enjoy:

for more than a second before the leaves would drop back to the ground again.

Please enjoy:

She felt heavier

Please enjoy:

and slower without the wind blowing through her.

Please enjoy:

And that feeling of shapelessness was growing again.

Please enjoy:

She laid herself down at the foot

Please enjoy:

of a large shady tree

Please enjoy:

and curled up tight into a pile of leaves.

Please enjoy:

Muzzle and tail wrapped round what was left of her perception of a body.

Please enjoy:

As she faded out

Please enjoy:

and her spirit was carried off to that

Please enjoy:

place beyond our perception,

Please enjoy:

she smiled at the time she was given this year.

Please enjoy:

It was a very good Autumn indeed. Do not

Please enjoy:

cry, gentle listener, for you must know. That Selene

Please enjoy:

was a spirit whose purpose to show. The importance of time we are given to wander.

Please enjoy:

Make sure not to squander

Please enjoy:

or carry regret. For this is the lesson, please don’t forget.

Please enjoy:

And if you are cunning, and spritely, and gay.

Please enjoy:

And you look very closely on a cool Autumn day.

Please enjoy:

You may be surprised at what you can see.

Please enjoy:

In the simple serenity

Please enjoy:

of the rustling of leaves.
