I talk about paint all the time. My home should be perfectly finished and maintained--that's what I tell myself. But it's not. Life's busy and I get behind. I'm Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite Paints sponsored by Benjamin Moore.
Now, typically, that drives me nuts. Can you relate to that feeling? If so, here's something to try: make a list of everything about your house that you love--everything that's great right now--as is. Not things that will be good when you fix them. Everything you love right now.
It may not be easy right off the bat . . . but work at it. Remember what you loved about your house when you put in the offer to buy it? Write those things down. It's touchy feely and maybe silly . . . but I don't NEED another list of things I have to do. What I need sometimes is a list of everything I've got that's pretty great. It's an adjusted perspective. And it actually can help you get some of those neglected jobs accomplished. We'll talk about that next time. I'm Dan Hansen and that's a Minute at RepcoLite.
