Speaker:

These energies are rising. They're

going to be on offer to you,

Speaker:

and your whole task is just to create

the space where you can feel it

Speaker:

and meet it.

Speaker:

Hello and welcome back to

Remember Why You Are Here,

Speaker:

a podcast for seekers and sensitives

where you can relax, receive,

Speaker:

reconnect with yourself,

Speaker:

and remember the most important

thing of all-why you're here.

Speaker:

I'm Asia Suler, author,

Earth intuitive, teacher,

Speaker:

and this is the intuitive

reading for October,:

Speaker:

There are some deep energies

up this month for sure.

Speaker:

The card that I picked for this

month feels like it reflects it,

Speaker:

but it's also giving us this

really beautiful place to

land in the midst of the

Speaker:

depths.

Speaker:

So some themes that came up for

this month were spiritual belonging,

Speaker:

touching the Otherworld,

Speaker:

allowing deep shifts to happen naturally,

Speaker:

attuning to your longing, and

tapping into ancestral wisdom.

Speaker:

So let's jump into it.

Speaker:

The card that I picked this month is from

the Wild Chorus Oracle Deck by Corina

Speaker:

Dross and Jo Mosser, who's a dear friend

of mine. Corina and Joe are artists,

Speaker:

siblings.

Speaker:

They have been using this

deck in their own practices as

Speaker:

therapists and astrologers for years.

Speaker:

I adore this deck. I adore

the people who created it,

Speaker:

and I really wanted to use this deck

because I feel like it really has this

Speaker:

Otherworldly quality to it.

Speaker:

And also we're coming up on the one-year

anniversary of Hurricane Helene in our

Speaker:

mountains.

Speaker:

And as we take stock of

everything that has healed since

Speaker:

that time and all the things that

are still working on becoming healed,

Speaker:

it felt really like a special

time to highlight local

Speaker:

artisans, local thinkers, local creators,

Speaker:

and just absolutely love these people.

Speaker:

And so the card I picked from the

Wild Chorus Oracle deck is called "You

Speaker:

Belong." This card is a

beautiful card and one of

Speaker:

my favorite cards in the whole deck,

Speaker:

which just feels like such a

blessing to receive for this month.

Speaker:

The card depicts a stone circle that

looks as if it's made out of big quartz

Speaker:

boulders. It's in this

soft, gentle green wood,

Speaker:

dotted with purple flowers.

Speaker:

And at the center of this stone

circle are the words written in

Speaker:

thread, "you belong." And the thread

that wrote those words also seems to be

Speaker:

radiating outwards to each one of

the stones with these words "you

Speaker:

belong" at the very center.

Speaker:

This card is one of the most comforting

cards in this deck. Every time I see it,

Speaker:

I just have a full body melt. I

feel so grateful when I receive it.

Speaker:

It feels like such a potent card for

so many reasons to receive for this

Speaker:

month.

Speaker:

I'm excited to dive into what came

through for me when I picked this card and

Speaker:

when I asked to channel for

our collective here. But first,

Speaker:

I want to drop into the beautiful

description that goes along with this card

Speaker:

that was written by Corina and Jo because

it's really just exquisite and I feel

Speaker:

like it grounds the whole feeling,

the whole landscape of this card.

Speaker:

So here we go: "There is nothing

here that does not know you.

Speaker:

There is nothing here

that does not love you.

Speaker:

You have landed in the

ultimate nervous system tonic,

Speaker:

an embrace that comes from the ground

itself, the circle of the forest,

Speaker:

the depths of the living world.

Speaker:

This card centers your

body in relationship with

your environment and offers

Speaker:

profound reassurance.

Speaker:

Here's a reminder that you are

filling a you-shaped space,

Speaker:

which is a necessary activity.

Let yourself relax into being."

Speaker:

I loved in their description

how they talked about this card

Speaker:

as an invitation to live at

the center of your world.

Speaker:

So often we go about our lives with

this feeling like somehow we shouldn't

Speaker:

be at the center of our own worlds. We

should be at the periphery. Other things,

Speaker:

other people, should be at

the center of our own worlds.

Speaker:

But there's this other reality where

if we are not at the center of our own

Speaker:

worlds, our worlds have no center.

Speaker:

And this is something I talk about

in my book, Mirrors in the Earth,

Speaker:

the ecological necessity of

inhabiting one's own world,

Speaker:

that this is how we create so

much diversity on this planet.

Speaker:

And this is what makes an ecosystem

so diverse is all of the living beings

Speaker:

there being willing to

simply inhabit their

Speaker:

own worlds, to move from their own worlds.

Speaker:

And I think this is such a beautiful

invitation as we walk into this month,

Speaker:

to let yourself be the

center of your world,

Speaker:

to let yourself inhabit your own world,

Speaker:

to have your inner world be as

Speaker:

rich and important to you

as the ways in which you

Speaker:

move in the outer world.

Speaker:

That's really so much at the heart of

everything that we're about to talk

Speaker:

about with the reading

for this month ahead.

Speaker:

So what came through really strongly

for me was this invitation to create a

Speaker:

center of belonging in your world,

Speaker:

like creating a stone circle in your life.

Speaker:

But to be doing this

in a ritualistic place,

Speaker:

to create a place to touch

in and to drop in in your

Speaker:

life. You know, what this

might look like for you,

Speaker:

it might be making sure

you have time every week to

Speaker:

meditate or creating some

sort of literal ritual space,

Speaker:

maybe someplace outside that you visit.

Speaker:

But either way that you conceive

of this or you work towards this,

Speaker:

the invitation is really

strong here to create some sort

Speaker:

of ritual space that you

can touch in with every

Speaker:

week, that you can habitually

come back to during this time.

Speaker:

And what really occurred to

me in particular was thinking

Speaker:

about all these stone circles

that exist across England,

Speaker:

Ireland, parts of France,

Speaker:

that these stone circles that

we think of in Western Europe...

Speaker:

We know that these incredible stone

circles were built at a really big time

Speaker:

of transition in humanity, at a time

where we, in that part of the world,

Speaker:

were moving from being nomadic to being

Speaker:

sedentary, to relying on

agriculture, to having fields,

Speaker:

to creating settlements.

Speaker:

And that these stone

circles came up at this time

Speaker:

as a way to anchor what was likely

Speaker:

ritual and spiritual understandings,

Speaker:

storylines that existed in the landscape,

Speaker:

things that were embedded in the way

in which people move through the land.

Speaker:

And now, as they were at this transition

point, this great transition point,

Speaker:

these stone circles start

cropping up everywhere.

Speaker:

And we know for sure that this was the

time period in which they were created.

Speaker:

And while we don't know for sure

why or in what way they were used,

Speaker:

we do know that they were

absolutely aligned with the

Speaker:

equinoxes, solstices, certain stars,

Speaker:

alignments on the land and

that they were important.

Speaker:

They were important at this time

of great transition for people.

Speaker:

And so there's this sense

or this feeling right now,

Speaker:

that there's a great

transition that's happening;

Speaker:

there's a great transition that's

happening in our personal lives,

Speaker:

but there's also a great transition

happening in the world around us.

Speaker:

And there's this invitation to create

your own stone circle in your life,

Speaker:

whatever that means to you.

Speaker:

This place where you can anchor the

wisdom of everything you've gleaned so far

Speaker:

in your life, you can take it with

you. This place where you can tune in,

Speaker:

where you can reconnect,

Speaker:

where you can step back

into your own inner world:

Speaker:

these sacred spiritual places

and channels within you,

Speaker:

so that you can meet the

time of transition that you

are currently in and that

Speaker:

we are currently in as a world. The

phrase that came through for me was,

Speaker:

"creating anchor points

in major tide-changing

Speaker:

times in history." So I have no idea

what is going to happen this month

Speaker:

or whether this is just part of the

greater landscape that we're in right now,

Speaker:

but it feels like a big tide change.

Speaker:

And I think Autumns

feel like that anyways;

Speaker:

we're moving into this time of the

Otherworld when the above ground

Speaker:

life is going back into the earth

where the Otherworld is more

Speaker:

accessible, the veil is thin.

Speaker:

And so it feels often like autumn

is a time of change that big

Speaker:

changes come up, losses, letting

go, sometimes new relationships,

Speaker:

old relationships being dissolved,

Speaker:

that there's a transition piece

that's happening here and there's a

Speaker:

really loud clarion call

for you to create these

Speaker:

ritual anchor points to help

orient you in your life.

Speaker:

These feel like sacred portals

into knowing yourself deeper.

Speaker:

And when you know yourself deeper,

Speaker:

you can even better meet

the changing of the tides,

Speaker:

even better meet the changing

of the tides within you.

Speaker:

And it's almost like this feeling that

came in or the imagery that came in was

Speaker:

just to let the work move through you.

Speaker:

That if you show up in these ritual...

Speaker:

anchored ritual guiding

posts in your life,

Speaker:

like the space that you make to connect

to your own inner world right now,

Speaker:

that the work will just naturally happen.

Speaker:

The image that I got was water

moving through an underground cavern.

Speaker:

There's movement happening this month

within you, within the outer world.

Speaker:

There's this sense there might be

chaos in the outer world this month,

Speaker:

but even within that chaos at the same

time with these ritual anchor points,

Speaker:

it's like connecting into the inner

rainbows while the outer world storms.

Speaker:

It's touching into your spiritual

center and remembering that you're

Speaker:

home. There's a really rich

opportunity this month for you to

Speaker:

create a kind of ritual anchor

in your life that will see

Speaker:

you through the times to come.

Speaker:

So really think about what

would that look like for you?

Speaker:

In your heart of hearts,

Speaker:

like what kind of space do you

desire for your spiritual life?

Speaker:

How can you carve that space out?

Speaker:

It's not to say that it's

necessarily going to be easy.

Speaker:

I think about the creation of these stone

circles and how many of these stones

Speaker:

were quarried and moved

over vast distances

Speaker:

for reasons we don't fully understand.

Speaker:

But a lot of work went into

creating these ritual center points,

Speaker:

these center points that were clearly

so important and so anchoring for the

Speaker:

communities that created them.

Speaker:

And so to ask yourself even if it's work

to create this space or time in your

Speaker:

life, like what do you desire,

what is your soul desire?

Speaker:

And really move towards giving yourself

permission to create those anchor

Speaker:

points,

Speaker:

to knowing that the work that you're

doing to connect to your inner world,

Speaker:

that your inner world itself,

your spiritual sense of

belonging and landscape,

Speaker:

is important.

Speaker:

This is an essential part of what you're

bringing to this world and it deserves

Speaker:

energy and space and time.

Speaker:

And you're allowed to give yourself

permission to take that space and time.

Speaker:

We are in the midst of this moment

in the wheel of the year where the

Speaker:

veil is growing very thin.

Speaker:

This is starting now and without fail,

Speaker:

every year for me this always ends

up being such a visionary time.

Speaker:

I always end up having

ancestors visit me in my dreams,

Speaker:

having just wild dreams

in general, intuitions,

Speaker:

new visions for my life.

Speaker:

And so I want you to

embrace as well what's

Speaker:

available here with the

thinning of the veil,

Speaker:

and creating these ritual anchor

points for yourself will help you be

Speaker:

open to the healing and transformative

energies that are streaming towards

Speaker:

you now from the Otherworld. Because

there's this interesting balancing act,

Speaker:

and we see it in the literal

physical manifestation of fall,

Speaker:

where as the above ground, visible,

Speaker:

seen world dies back into the unseen,

Speaker:

the unseen begins to rise.

Speaker:

And this creates this time

where the veil grows thin,

Speaker:

it's possible to access the

Otherworld, the unseen world,

Speaker:

the world of sentience and soul.

And we see this kind of balance too,

Speaker:

as sometimes the chaos of

the outer world rises or the

Speaker:

confliction or the dispersion or the

intensity of the outer world rises,

Speaker:

there is this other thing

that then rises to meet that,

Speaker:

which is this deep possibility

of soul connection,

Speaker:

which is the center of

your self expanding.

Speaker:

We aren't designed to just walk into

these times without any support.

Speaker:

That's not how it works.

We walk into these times,

Speaker:

these times where energies

or intensities are rising,

Speaker:

and within us in order to

meet that, our center expands.

Speaker:

The possibility for connecting

to our soul expands.

Speaker:

And so as we witness this beautiful

Speaker:

rebalancing that happens in the fall of

one energy ebbing and another rising,

Speaker:

the same is happening in the

outer world and the inner world.

Speaker:

And it's this sense of as the outer world

Speaker:

intensifies,

Speaker:

the inner world is rising and

enrichening and expanding in order to

Speaker:

meet it. And I really just

want you to give yourself full

Speaker:

permission this month to tend to

that because there is this sense of

Speaker:

opportunities guided by the

other world this month for real

Speaker:

shifts, depths and change.

Speaker:

And these energies are rising.

They're going to be on offer to you,

Speaker:

and your whole task is just to create

the space where you can feel it

Speaker:

and meet it.

Speaker:

The specific phrase that came through for

me here was "this is a time of forging

Speaker:

new ritual patterns and a new sense

of stability and security within

Speaker:

oneself and one's network

of spiritual belonging,

Speaker:

even as the energies in the

outer world feel big." So

Speaker:

this is possible,

Speaker:

and I encourage you as you tune

into the energies that are here

Speaker:

this month, to also

embrace your own longing.

Speaker:

We forget this with the term belonging,

Speaker:

that longing is part of this

word and that part of the

Speaker:

whole motion of learning belonging in

this planet is also leaning into our

Speaker:

longing, our sacred, sacred longing.

Speaker:

Autumn is kind of this time of longing.

Speaker:

Do you feel that? Like every autumn,

Speaker:

there's often this tide that

comes in of longing for what

Speaker:

was, but also nostalgic for what will be.

Speaker:

And it's like this longing rises up to

the surface as this space is created in

Speaker:

the world around us, as the leaves begin

to fall, the canopy literally opens,

Speaker:

we see more of the world around us,

that we start to realize our longings,

Speaker:

start to them as the sacred

embers that they are.

Speaker:

And there's a reason for this. Longing

shows you the path of your soul.

Speaker:

You wouldn't long for something

if it wasn't part of the

Speaker:

fabric of your soul and what you

came here to experience and what you

Speaker:

desire on your path of being human.

So these longings are sacred.

Speaker:

They show us these scraps

of the tapestry of our soul.

Speaker:

So to be aware of what

you long for this month,

Speaker:

to just open your awareness of that,

to turn your attention towards that.

Speaker:

Your longing is sacred.

Speaker:

Your longing is bringing you

deeper into this place of soul,

Speaker:

into this place of anchored

stability within yourself.

Speaker:

This place of spiritual belonging.

When we follow our longings,

Speaker:

it is only ever bringing us deeper

and deeper into belonging because our

Speaker:

longing helps us to know ourselves,

Speaker:

helps us to know who we are on

the deepest level of our being.

Speaker:

There's also this piece where

we have to let ourselves belong.

Speaker:

And this is something that comes

up for me in my own life that we

Speaker:

might be in a community

or a network or a group,

Speaker:

and everyone else in that

network or group might feel like,

Speaker:

of course you belong. Of

course you're a part of this.

Speaker:

But we don't feel belonging

until we allow ourselves to feel

Speaker:

belonging.

Speaker:

Belonging is not something that just

comes in from the outside and that we can

Speaker:

automatically feel.

Speaker:

Belonging could be something that

everyone else around us is oriented to and

Speaker:

just assumes that we know that we belong.

Speaker:

And yet it's really an

inner sense within us.

Speaker:

And so creating these spiritual

anchor points for yourself this month,

Speaker:

listening to the whispers

of your own longing,

Speaker:

will help you create the kind of capacity

within yourself to really feel your

Speaker:

belonging and to know that no

matter what space you're moving in,

Speaker:

what group you are or are not a part of,

Speaker:

that on a spiritual sense,

Speaker:

belonging is at the very

heart of who you are.

Speaker:

You are never not belonging.

Speaker:

You belong to this world of the spirit.

Speaker:

You belong to the Otherworld.

Speaker:

You belong to your own soul.

And once you can feel that,

Speaker:

belonging is everywhere you look.

Speaker:

And there's one very specific place of

belonging that was also coming through

Speaker:

for this month that I have to mention

as we enter this time of the Otherworld

Speaker:

and the veil thinning,

Speaker:

and that is belonging within

your own ancestral lineage,

Speaker:

ancestral traditions.

Speaker:

It is ancestral belonging

itself as a kind of anchor.

Speaker:

This is an anchor that has been present

for humanity since our inception,

Speaker:

has been incredibly important

to humans and human culture.

Speaker:

It is something that as contemporary

humans in the western world,

Speaker:

we often have fractured lineages

of - this lineage of ancestral

Speaker:

remembrance and ancestral connection.

Speaker:

But there's this reality where

if we can connect to ancestors,

Speaker:

like this living taproot of

energy here on this planet,

Speaker:

then we can always access

a sense of belonging on

Speaker:

this earth and in our bodies,

Speaker:

which is so much of what we're

working on in this lifetime.

Speaker:

And so that is one of the energies

that's on offer this month,

Speaker:

to connect to your ancestral belonging.

Speaker:

And I really encourage

people in this to connect to

Speaker:

the deep ancestors, to

connect to the old ancestors,

Speaker:

to connect to the ancestors

whose names you don't know,

Speaker:

but who were living in harmony with their

Speaker:

environments,

Speaker:

who had deep soulful

practices that anchored them,

Speaker:

who had ritual anchors built

into their communities.

Speaker:

Every single one of us has

these ancestors in our lineage.

Speaker:

You don't even have to

know where they're from.

Speaker:

You don't have to know their

names, but you can feel them.

Speaker:

You can connect into them, you can

call them in. They want to guide you.

Speaker:

They want to help you create these

kind of ritual anchor points in your

Speaker:

life. You belong to

your ancestors as well.

Speaker:

Your belonging there

has never been in doubt.

Speaker:

And if you call upon these deeper

ancestors, they will come to support you.

Speaker:

They will come to help you as

you move into this really potent

Speaker:

season this fall.

Speaker:

So if this is all swirling around

you in a way that feels really

Speaker:

rich,

Speaker:

if you're feeling that call to

connect to the Otherworld and

Speaker:

have some guidance and support on

creating ritual anchors for yourself

Speaker:

this fall, then definitely check out

my class Herbs for the Otherworld.

Speaker:

This is by far the most popular

single class I have on my

Speaker:

website.

Speaker:

It is all about how to connect to

the energies that are up in fall with

Speaker:

very specific ritual

Speaker:

offerings and suggestions of how

to connect to your ancestors,

Speaker:

how to release ghosts and old attachments,

Speaker:

how to embrace the seeding

of new beginnings that

Speaker:

happen in the fall.

Speaker:

This is a program where I also

talk about specific plants and

Speaker:

fungi that can help you embrace

and open the portal of your

Speaker:

awareness this fall.

Speaker:

So if you're feeling like you need

a guide or you're just excited

Speaker:

about the idea of crafting ritual,

Speaker:

this fall crafting ritual anchor points

that are really connected into the

Speaker:

energies that are present here, definitely

check that out over on my website,

Speaker:

AsiaSuler.com. It's one of the

favorite things I've ever created,

Speaker:

and it blows me away every single year,

Speaker:

the powerful experiences

that people have within this,

Speaker:

the portals that are opened and the

anchor points that they create in

Speaker:

their lives through just being willing

to be in conscious relationship with the

Speaker:

Otherworld and with the energies that

come up every autumn. And yet this autumn,

Speaker:

there is this sense of,

Speaker:

even as these Otherworldly

energies are rising,

Speaker:

the energy of transition, the

bigness of the outer world,

Speaker:

that at the heart of it is this

stone circle at the center of you,

Speaker:

this place where you can create this

Speaker:

sanctuary of comfort and belonging,

Speaker:

of connection with your own soul,

Speaker:

where you can sit and be at peace.

Speaker:

It really reminds me of

my times in the British

Speaker:

Isles visiting some of these stone circles

where I would sit at the center and

Speaker:

just receive, sit at the

center and just be and watch as

Speaker:

reality ripples around me, as the veil

grows thin, as I receive downloads,

Speaker:

as I'm guided, as I naturally feel

my connection to my ancestors.

Speaker:

And it feels like that's the sense

of what's on offer this month is like

Speaker:

create the space and then just sit

at the center of that stone circle

Speaker:

and receive. Because you belong.

Speaker:

You've never not belonged. You

are exactly where you need to be.

Speaker:

And the invitation here is just to go

deeper into connection with your own soul

Speaker:

and your own being.

Speaker:

So if you do develop some ritual anchor

points and you want to share with me,

Speaker:

I would love to hear about it. What space

did you make? What did you decide on?

Speaker:

You can leave a comment if you're on a

platform where you can do that or leave

Speaker:

me a voice note over at

AsiaSuler.com/remember,

Speaker:

I have my voice notes there, and

I always love to hear from you.

Speaker:

So I'll be thinking about you this

month as we step into the deep places,

Speaker:

as we invite in this new

sense of belonging, home,

Speaker:

stability,

Speaker:

as we meet the big tides with a

Speaker:

soulful strength and profound remembrance.

Speaker:

And as you move into this month

and all of the big transformational

Speaker:

energy that is on offer here, all of

the healing that is possible here,

Speaker:

may it bring you even

closer to remembering why

Speaker:

you're here.
