Shownotes

Welcome to Day 6 of International Week of Yoga: Movement, Meditation, Spirit & the Divine Feminine.

This is a signature episode connecting yoga with the Divine Feminine, priestess work, goddess spirituality, sacred embodiment, and spiritual devotion.

In this episode, Bertena explores how yoga can become more than movement. Yoga can become a sacred ritual, a devotional practice, and a way to reconnect with the body as a holy vessel. Through breathwork, movement, meditation, Yoga Nidra, mantra, and Kundalini energy, yoga can become a priestess practice rooted in intention, reverence, and devotion.

This episode explores the Divine Feminine as intuition, creativity, compassion, receptivity, embodiment, wisdom, and sacred power. It also looks at the priestess path as devotion, service, ritual, healing, spiritual leadership, and connection to the Divine.

You will also hear about goddess connections including Shakti, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Parvati, Durga, and Kali, and how their energies can support a deeper spiritual yoga practice.

Yoga can become a priestess practice when it is done with intention, reverence, and devotion.

Spiritual Reflection

Yoga can become a priestess practice when it is done with intention, reverence, and devotion.

Breath can become prayer.

Movement can become devotion.

Meditation can become communion.

Yoga Nidra can become a temple of healing.

Mantra can become sacred sound.

The body can become a sacred vessel.

Journal Prompt

How can I turn movement, breath, or meditation into a sacred ritual?

You may also reflect on:

  • What does my body need in order to feel honored?
  • What does my breath want to release?
  • What does my heart want to receive?
  • What goddess energy is guiding me right now?
  • How can my yoga practice become more devotional?
  • Where have I treated my body as something to fix instead of something sacred?
  • What would change if I practiced yoga as a priestess entering her temple?

Closing Practice

Place both hands over the heart.

Take a slow breath in.

Gently release.

Repeat:

My body is sacred.

My breath is prayer.

My life is a temple.

Let these words settle into your heart, your breath, and your body.
