INMA:

Hi, I'm Emma.

JENN:

Hi, Emma.

JENN:

I'm Jen,

INMA:

Hi Jen.

INMA:

Um, we have a, a really, really great one today.

INMA:

Um, how is about Jen

JENN:

we're talking about how it's not too late.

INMA:

is not too late.

INMA:

I love, I love Laurie when she in the intro, when she says that

JENN:

Yes.

JENN:

Absolutely.

JENN:

Absolutely.

JENN:

And, and the myth that we're talking about is that it is too late and

JENN:

that's a myth because it's not

INMA:

It is not, it's never too late.

. JENN:

We are to a point right now where, um, reports and scientists and

. JENN:

people are saying, um, it's now or never, like, you need to do it now.

. JENN:

Um, But it's still not too late.

. JENN:

And so that's, that's what we're about here is to encourage

. JENN:

people to get on board.

. JENN:

Join us.

INMA:

Yes.

INMA:

My hope comes from a place of this may be a window of opportunity for us.

INMA:

To change a lot of things that has to be changed.

JENN:

Mm-hmm Yeah, because there comes a point and, and kind of like , when we

JENN:

experienced the pandemic as a planet, there were all of a sudden things that we

JENN:

had to do differently because we couldn't do things the way we had done them before.

JENN:

And so, as you say, this is an opportunity to shift, uh, mindset,

JENN:

to shift, thinking to shift, um, You know, activities and habits and

INMA:

Lifestyles.

JENN:

lifestyles, and to move towards, um, looking after

JENN:

this beautiful place we live.

INMA:

Yes.

INMA:

I think that's the solution.

INMA:

The solution is putting care and attention to everything that is around us.

JENN:

Mm-hmm

, INMA:

when you do that , things shift happens.

JENN:

Yes.

JENN:

It's time to, uh, to start thinking a little bit differently and

JENN:

to, uh, and to join together.

JENN:

There's so much division and I think the it's not too late, um,

JENN:

can be built upon by figuring out what can we do for one another?

JENN:

How can we, , look after each other and try to see the

JENN:

unifying qualities, the things.

JENN:

Are, uh, that we share more than the things that divide us.

INMA:

Yes.

INMA:

And, and that includes plants.

INMA:

we share the environment with plants, with animals, with, with air, with water.

INMA:

So it's not just us.

INMA:

It's everything else

INMA:

that is there.

JENN:

Well, we are the ones that are wrecking this place.

JENN:

Right?

INMA:

Yes.

JENN:

if it was, if it was, uh, if it wasn't for the human species, I

JENN:

think everything would be just peachy.

JENN:

So

JENN:

it's, uh, it's an interesting thing.

JENN:

It's how can we shift to become gentler, kinder, more compassionate

JENN:

creatures than we already, uh, than

JENN:

we have been so far.

INMA:

And, and, and I think the message with is not too late.

INMA:

It kind of does the trick.

INMA:

It kind of tells us about an emergency and tells us about hope.

JENN:

Mm-hmm

INMA:

So hope and an emergency together.

INMA:

For me, at least it makes the trick of let's do something.

INMA:

I can do something.

JENN:

And I think that's the key because it's one thing to

JENN:

say, oh yeah, it's not too late.

JENN:

We have lots of time and be very Pollyanna about it.

JENN:

Very, , overly optimistic.

JENN:

but that's not real so it's, it's a balance, isn't it?

JENN:

It's the, it's the emergency or the crisis or whatever language you

JENN:

wanna use, the, the urgency and.

JENN:

That is balanced with the hope so,

JENN:

um, but the only way to make it balance is to get busy.

INMA:

Yeah, exactly.

INMA:

To get to action and as much as we can to join other people to action, to get.

INMA:

in action together.

INMA:

I think that's also part of the message that is not too late.

JENN:

Mm.

JENN:

So what, what can you do today?

JENN:

Dear listener?

JENN:

what can you do today that, uh, is

JENN:

this an action step?

JENN:

So, what can you do today?

JENN:

It can be something very tiny or it can be something

JENN:

very big, but what can you do today in your context, in your place

JENN:

where you live with the people that you are associating with?

JENN:

Uh, what can you do to take action, , to lift up that hope and to get on board

JENN:

with the it's not too late reality.

INMA:

Yeah.

INMA:

Yeah.

INMA:

I am a firm believer of when you start with you with us, with me, it.

INMA:

A big, big, big ripple.

INMA:

And from there you can join others , and do, do more.

JENN:

Absolutely.

JENN:

All right.

INMA:

All right.

INMA:

That was a beautiful one.

INMA:

I like it.

INMA:

I like this one.

INMA:

It's not, there is not an action, a concrete action , to

INMA:

take, but it's open to you

JENN:

that's right.

JENN:

Well, it is.

JENN:

It's up to

JENN:

you.

JENN:

It's up to it's up to you.

JENN:

It's up to me.

JENN:

It's up to all of us,

INMA:

Yes.

INMA:

Thank you.

INMA:

Thank you, Jen.
