This week on Podparks, we are joined live by Linda Hwang and Bianca Shulaker of Trust of Public Land to discuss TPL’s exciting new ParkScore report released today.

Trust for Public Land is a U.S.-based non-profit organization that works to connect everyone to the benefits and joys of the outdoors. Through national advocacy and local partnerships, TPL builds and renovates parks and green spaces to ensure access to the outdoors.

The guests discuss the 10-minute walk program, a national initiative that is working with over 300 mayors and cities across the U.S. to commit to closing the park equity divide. This year’s ParkScore report highlights the relationship between parks and health, and showcases some of the country’s trends in health and wellbeing of their citizens.
