Police are investigating the theft, while legal experts warn that an armed bystander can face serious legal consequences when property theft alone does not present an immediate deadly threat.

California congressional candidate Marni von Wilpert held a fundraiser at San Diego’s Gossip Grill, an LGBTQ nightclub known for sexually suggestive event names and menu branding. Republicans attacked the venue choice and her LGBTQ policy agenda.
