The aim of the podcast is to explore the role of the Professional Nurse Advocate with regards to workforce wellbeing. The Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) programme was launched in March 2021 towards the end of the third wave. The ambition by the Chief Nursing Officer is to support the workforce through the implementation of the PNA who can provide restorative supervision. Kyle who has recently undertaken the training gives listeners an overview of the training and provides insight into how the role is being implemented.

Kyle Carbini is currently a Ward Manger of an Acute Medical ward in a Central Manchester Hospital. Kyle has previously worked in HIV Care and GUM services until being redeployed in the pandemic and undertaking his new role.
