Shownotes

Acceptance of life's circumstances is essential, as it allows us to cease unnecessary struggles against what we cannot control. I emphasize that peace often begins when we relinquish our attempts to master everything around us and simply let life flow as it will. The act of surrendering to the reality of our situations does not signify weakness; instead, it denotes a profound understanding that we are expending energy on matters beyond our influence. We must recognize that what is meant for us will come naturally, without the need for forceful exertion. Ultimately, when we embrace serenity and trust in the process of life, all things tend to align harmoniously.

In this episode, Keith Muoki shares deep, practical, and spiritually grounded wisdom on relationships, love, mindset, healing, identity, and personal transformation.

Let’s Talk.

The dialogue presents a compelling narrative on the merits of acceptance and the tranquility that arises from allowing life to unfold without undue interference. Central to the discussion is the affirmation 'It is what it is,' which encapsulates a philosophy of embracing reality as it presents itself, devoid of the tumultuous emotions often associated with resistance. The speaker advocates for the relinquishment of the incessant need to control every facet of existence, positing that such control often leads to unnecessary strife and discontent. Instead, the speaker urges listeners to embrace the beauty of surrender, suggesting that true strength lies in the ability to accept circumstances rather than fight against them. Throughout the discourse, the speaker underscores the transformative power of letting go—whether it be of unfulfilling relationships, unrealistic expectations, or societal pressures that compel individuals to conform. By shedding these burdens, one creates the opportunity for new beginnings and personal revelations that align more closely with their authentic self. The narrative is enriched with personal anecdotes that illustrate the speaker's journey towards self-acceptance and the realization that what is meant for one will not require forceful pursuit. This emphasis on natural alignment encourages listeners to cultivate patience and trust in their own journeys. Moreover, the conversation touches upon the spiritual dimension of surrendering to life's flow, suggesting that divine guidance becomes accessible when one steps back from the chaos of control. The speaker's reflections resonate deeply, inviting individuals to reconsider their approach to challenges and opportunities, ultimately promoting a mindset that values peace, acceptance, and the understanding that all things will fall into place when one embraces their true path.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

It is what it is.

Speaker A:

Once you let life be, all things will fall into place.

Speaker A:

I'm sure you've heard this word.

Speaker A:

It is what it is.

Speaker A:

Sometimes peace begins when you stop fighting what you cannot control.

Speaker A:

Life does not always need your panic.

Speaker A:

Sometimes it just needs your surrender.

Speaker A:

Sometimes you have to let go of things that are pushing you in one way or another.

Speaker A:

You let go of those comparisons, let go of expectations, let go of validation.

Speaker A:

Just be yourself.

Speaker A:

Do whatever you can.

Speaker A:

If it's not working, it's not working.

Speaker A:

If the relationship is failing, it's failing.

Speaker A:

Just let it go.

Speaker A:

Probably rejection is redirection.

Speaker A:

You're crying over this person, oh, I can't live without you.

Speaker A:

I'm finished.

Speaker A:

No, you can live without them.

Speaker A:

You can purely live without them.

Speaker A:

You will wake up, you will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner without them because that's how they live as well.

Speaker A:

They can live purely without you.

Speaker A:

It is what it is.

Speaker A:

That is exactly how life is.

Speaker A:

Let me tell you why this is very important for you to just let life flow.

Speaker A:

Number one, acceptance is not weakness.

Speaker A:

The moment you have accepted that things have to go this way, that I cannot win in this area, that is not weakness.

Speaker A:

It means you have stopped wasting energy arguing with reality.

Speaker A:

I remember myself when I was young, I really wanted to be a footballer, but man, I was just awful at it.

Speaker A:

I was the only one after everybody has scored a goal.

Speaker A:

I was the only one who was never scoring anything.

Speaker A:

I didn't know what to do.

Speaker A:

I tried as much as I can.

Speaker A:

My dad loved football.

Speaker A:

I just found myself, ah, it is what it is.

Speaker A:

I just accepted that I can do other things and I got away from that.

Speaker A:

Accepting my friends is not weakness.

Speaker A:

You have just stopped wasting your energy arguing with reality.

Speaker A:

You can never be with that person.

Speaker A:

You can never start that business.

Speaker A:

You can never do this.

Speaker A:

It's okay.

Speaker A:

There's always something better that you can do.

Speaker A:

Number two, what is meant for you will not need force.

Speaker A:

I know people will say I have to push this so that things happen.

Speaker A:

Pushing is not a thing people say we have to push with life.

Speaker A:

Push that, push this business, push this relationship.

Speaker A:

What you're pushing is not actually yours.

Speaker A:

When something is aligned, it flows with peace, not confusion.

Speaker A:

You see that business you're trying, you're pushing.

Speaker A:

Things are not working.

Speaker A:

Probably the thing that was meant for you is just the other side.

Speaker A:

You just need to look clearly, listen to your own intuition, to your heart.

Speaker A:

What is that one thing that you really feel, that you enjoy?

Speaker A:

You can wake up at 2am and do it with nobody pushing you.

Speaker A:

You're so aligned, you can draw very well.

Speaker A:

But because people tell you that art does not pay, you just think, oh, I can draw, but I don't want to draw now because I need to be a carpenter.

Speaker A:

Because this one is the one which is paying.

Speaker A:

Go with your intuition.

Speaker A:

Your actual talent lies in the things that you do best.

Speaker A:

What is meant for you does not need force.

Speaker A:

Number three.

Speaker A:

Letting life be gives God room for work.

Speaker A:

When you let life to be, you say, it is what it is.

Speaker A:

Whatever life is going to throw to me, I am okay with it.

Speaker A:

Then God now is going to take control.

Speaker A:

The Bible says in Psalms 46, 10, be still and know that I am God.

Speaker A:

Sometimes your control is actually the thing blocking the very answer that you have prayed for.

Speaker A:

God, please help me.

Speaker A:

Show me what to do.

Speaker A:

But you're busy running, doing nothing.

Speaker A:

Busy running after everything around.

Speaker A:

Come on, give time to God.

Speaker A:

Tell God, okay, I'm here.

Speaker A:

Use me.

Speaker A:

Just keep quiet.

Speaker A:

Listen, remember Deuteronomy 8:18 says that.

Speaker A:

For it is God who gives us power to make wealth.

Speaker A:

The power is the ideas he gives you at the point of silence.

Speaker A:

Those are powerful ideas.

Speaker A:

That's the power to actually move you from one level to another.

Speaker A:

But you're ever running.

Speaker A:

Same scripture says, ever running, but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.

Speaker A:

You're ever running, ever running, trying this, trying that.

Speaker A:

People are selling shoes, people are selling these balloons.

Speaker A:

You want to be in every business, everything.

Speaker A:

No wonder.

Speaker A:

Number four, all.

Speaker A:

All things fall into place when you fall back into peace.

Speaker A:

When you are peaceful, then everything comes to you.

Speaker A:

Just find peace.

Speaker A:

If something is giving you headache, leave it.

Speaker A:

If a relationship is giving you headache, leave it.

Speaker A:

If a business is giving you headache, leave it.

Speaker A:

If some friends.

Speaker A:

If whatever thing is not giving you peace, leave it.

Speaker A:

Not everything needs chasing.

Speaker A:

Some things need trust, patience and timing.

Speaker A:

The Bible says that seek ye first the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

m of God, according to Romans:

Speaker A:

So if you seek peace first, and that's why you see most people, when they reach 40 years, they start seeking peace.

Speaker A:

And everything all of a sudden aligns.

Speaker A:

All of a sudden, people at 40 years, they start making it, building houses, starting their lives again, becoming directors of this and that.

Speaker A:

They are looking for peace rather than chaos.

Speaker A:

Because all things are going to fall into place the moment you're going to fall into peace.

Speaker A:

Some things just need trust, patience and timing.

Speaker A:

And it is what it is, does not mean that you have given up.

Speaker A:

It basically means that you have grown enough to stop forcing the thing that God has not breathed on.

Speaker A:

It is what it is.

Speaker A:

Just let things be.

Speaker A:

Do not push yourself into things which are impossible.

Speaker A:

Just be yourself.
