Talking about our health/weight loss goals: Jenn didn't share with roommates in college, Sarah did share with her current roommate
Doing this alone is hard & a study about having support on this journey
Talking to the wellness ally:
Has anyone share their health goals with you? Initial responses matter.
It can be confronting for the ally
Let the person on the health path drive the conversation
Grace & compassion - in meals, social plans, etc.
Make plans that don't have food as the focus, experiences and activities instead or in addition
Choose restaurants with healthful options
For dessert...offer once.

Be indifferent to the details
When we feel others around us need to focus on their health
How to be silently supportive
Let your example be the invitation
Be balanced, your extreme doesn't compensate for their decisions
When you're on the wellness journey
Enlist the support of a coach
Find wellness and activity friends
Choose carefully who you share this with and tell them what to do to support you
