Shownotes
Have you ever felt like you’re really trying to eat healthy, but still aren’t losing any weight?
There are foods that we think are “good” and will help us drop pounds, but it’s just not the case. In some ways, we’re fooling ourselves. In other ways, it’s not our fault at all. Food manufacturers can really trick us with snazzy food labels.
In this episode, we’ll discuss 4 specific foods and get into the difference between healthy and lean. In other words, foods that are generally considered healthy, but might not help with weight loss versus foods that are much more likely to naturally lead to weight loss.
We’ll explore . . .
- How food labels trick us!
- Is dark chocolate really good for you?
- An ineffective weight loss approach that almost never works
- The peanut butter problem
Plus, what so-called health food has more fat and less protein than a McDonald’s double cheeseburger and small order of fries!
