Over the past year or so the idea and understanding of the Hero's Journey has been more prevalent. I have realized that most of the time I have viewed myself as the Hero. But as a father we must understand that our kiddos and spouse are on their own Hero's Journey and we have the job/role/opportunity of coming alongside them and supporting them on their own journey.
