However, during her pregnancy, sharing her birth choices unexpectedly brought forth fears projected onto her by others - a surprising twist for someone who had been raised with a strong foundation of normalised, empowering birth experiences. This exposure introduced her to a world of fear-based narratives surrounding childbirth.
