Joining me on this episode is my guest Elaine Gee-Wong. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Los Altos, CA. She specializes in infertility and has completed the Mental Health Professional Certification from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine as well as a year-long postgraduate course on Counseling for Fertility. She is also a trained Accelerated Resolution Therapy clinician and uses this to help people resolve trauma, including reproductive trauma.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Elaine's personal story and why she works with clients experiencing infertility
  • What makes infertility a trauma
  • How therapy can help when you're going through infertility
  • Asian Americans and therapy
