The Parable of the Faithful and Unfaithful Servants can be found in Matthew 24:42-51 and Luke 12:35-48. Jesus uses this parable to inform us that we should always be about our father's business. Have you heard this line - "Look busy, Jesus is coming." Well, Jesus knows if you've been busy or you're just acting busy. Plus if you've been busy it will be evident in what you produce. God gives us the responsibility to do good works. He blesses us with time, talents and treasury and it is completely up to us to make good use of these blessings to advance his Kingdom - the rule and authority of heaven. The wise and faithful servant is responsible for what is given to him/her and will be given more. If you are not sure of what to do, ABC-L, Always Be Christ-Like.  If you read the word and follow his path, you will be like the wise and faithful servant and rewarded. However, if you are unfaithful, the time will come where you will be punished and the ones who knew better will be punished more harshly than those who did not know and did bad.
