TATSUMI NAKIHANA is the last remaining daughter of the fallen Yamaran Empire. Retribution and revenge fuel her quest to destory the evil horde that left her kingdom as nothing more than a trail of embers, ash, and corpses: The post-human DARK KONQUESTORS, and their vampire-like, spirit sucking accomplices: The SOUL RIPPERS.
Simply stated, it's about a lone surviving martial arts heroine (Tatsumi) who mysteriously gets mixed up with a band of treasure seeking pirates: The Crew of THE SIDESTALKER. While her ultimate goal is clear: find and assemble a force that can combat and wipe those that razed her empire from the map - she first must figure out her own path of survival in a swashbuckling world she didn't even know existed.
