Transcripts

Debbie:

It's a very simple thing. It's not difficult. All you have to do is open up to the Lord and say, "Lord, I wanna know who You are. " Take all of me, and minister to me Your love, Your presence, Your joy, Your peace. And the Lord will come and meet your heart. If you accept Christ that His death on the cross for you, that it was for you, and that you just accept His love, His sacrifice for you, then you will begin to know that the Lord is very real and the Father will be very present to you.

Ron:

Having a, a real experience with the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Because it's an experience with the living Savior, it's an impartation to you. He becomes, a living person.

Debbie:

He becomes real to you. You know it with your spirit, your heart will know it. You will experience something that you've never experienced before, but you know who He is. Step by step, moment by moment, show me Yourself. Reveal yourself to me.

Dale:

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you He saved you to Himself. You become His possession . If you read through the scriptures concerning His crucifixion, we're baptized into His death that we might have life . As we follow in each one of those steps, as He walks us through being saved, being set apart.

You understand that you have a purpose. You become a son as He is a Son, and that starts from the very beginning. There's a growth process in our salvation that lends us to a walk with Him. Our salvation leads to a relationship that is personal, that is deep, that is rewarding, that is full of joy - there's nothing like it. You're set apart. You're saved for the Father. His Son paid the price that you might have a relationship with the Father.

Ron:

Well, salvation is an unfolding process. You have an initial experience, but then every day you can be saved a little more and a little more, and a little more.

It should be an unfolding thing in your life. I, I think people stop. Or they can stop after their initial salvation experience. They've got it all, or that was it. God wants to save you to the uttermost, which means your spirit, your soul, and your body all saved in perfection.

Debbie:

Like you said, it's a step by step by step. You can stop at the bottom step if you want to, but you're not gonna get into His presence unless you step up and come into more of Him. Step up again and come into more of Him. Lord, reveal Yourself to me again. You know, every morning expressing that . And just start to worship and to open up and sing about the Lord.

Doesn't matter what you can say, I love you, Lord. I love you Lord. And just sing that in the presence of the Lord. The Lord would love that. Not a difficult thing. But it is to be a step by step by step process into His presence. We just don't go straight into it. If you really wanna know the Lord, you won't stop there.

You will go and seek Him again and seek Him again and seek Him again. You find people that you can relate to that are more mature in this, in their walk with God that help you. And show you and lead you and direct you so that you're not alone. You need to be with others that have a relationship with the Lord as well.

Because without that, you don't have the support, you don't have the, the strength, you don't have everything that you need. You're like a little sheep out there. And if the wolf comes along, he is gonna pick you off. But if you drive to the center of the, the flock, draw around others that have a relationship, then in that there's a covering.

Dale:

You don't have to worry about, is this right? Is that wrong? Am I doing this right? Because He is faithful to lead us. What's another one of His benefits? All the promises of God are now ours for those who are set aside and choose to follow Him. He'll lead us into all truth. Knowing the difference between right and wrong. Parents struggle with that with their children. As adults, we struggle with what's right, what's wrong. We have the answer. Jesus Christ, our Savior, will lead us into all truth.
