Phillip L.B.Halpern resigned on Sept. 30, 2020, as an Assistant US Attorney after a 36-year career with the U.S Justice Department. He resigned because of his concerns about the continued actions of the then Attorney General that seemed to cover-up possible criminal behavior of the President and his friends.
