I'm super excited to announce that.

Speaker:

Finally, yes, finally, Instagram has rolled out an in-app scheduling tool

Speaker:

to all professional accounts in the app that's gonna allow craters and

Speaker:

businesses to schedule their post in advance without having to use third

Speaker:

party apps or even the crater studio.

Speaker:

And this is really exciting news because now.

Speaker:

Creators and small businesses and entrepreneurs can go directly to

Speaker:

their phone to schedule content out in advance, especially if they happen

Speaker:

to be filming reels and they're doing the editing on their phone.

Speaker:

They don't have to go back and forth and send that content to their

Speaker:

computer and then use a different platform, you know, third party

Speaker:

app to actually make that happen.

Speaker:

So it really makes the whole process seamless.

Speaker:

Think it's going to be a huge game changer.

Speaker:

And basically it's going to even allow you to schedule in advance, not just

Speaker:

post, but also reels and carousels, and you can schedule those out directly

Speaker:

in the app up to 75 days in advance.

Speaker:

I mean, so that's huge.

Speaker:

I mean, that's over two and a half months.

Speaker:

Content that you can have pre-scheduled in advance.

Speaker:

And once you create a post, you can access a scheduling tool by

Speaker:

tapping on advanced settings.

Speaker:

So basically when you're on the page, we're gonna put in

Speaker:

the caption and the hashtags.

Speaker:

You're go to the bottom, it's gonna say advanced settings, you're gonna click

Speaker:

on that, and then you're gonna see a new option at the top of that page, which

Speaker:

is going to say, schedule this post.

Speaker:

And then after you have selected that option, You're gonna be able to pick the

Speaker:

time and the date that you want, that post are real or carousel to go live.

Speaker:

And then you can basically navigate back to, the Instagram post

Speaker:

flow and then tap on schedule.

Speaker:

Content creators and business owners and entrepreneurs are going to be able

Speaker:

to see scheduled post in the scheduled content section that is accessible via the

Speaker:

hamburger menu, meaning the three lines at the top, and it's also going to allow

Speaker:

people to reschedule content if needed.

Speaker:

Now, Instagram has not yet announced if regular accounts are gonna get

Speaker:

access to the in-app scheduling tool.

Speaker:

So if you do wanna have access to it, you might want to upgrade your

Speaker:

account to a, professional account so that you can have that feature

Speaker:

when it's rolled out to everybody.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

You can basically do that very easily by switching to a professional account.

Speaker:

When you navigate into your account settings, it's gonna

Speaker:

say personal, and then you can switch that over to professional.

Speaker:

Another new thing that Instagram has launched recently is something

Speaker:

called achievements, and that pertains to Instagram reels, and what it

Speaker:

means is craters are gonna be able to unlock achievements in relation

Speaker:

to specific actions that they're taking when they're creating a reel.

Speaker:

One example of that is if they're collaborating with other craters.

Speaker:

Another example is if they're engaging with their community and making their

Speaker:

wheels more interactive so they can add like poles on them, they can add stickers.

Speaker:

Just like in Instagram stories right now, you've been able to add

Speaker:

a lot of features for engagement.

Speaker:

And then also if they're making more than one real in a are using trending audio

Speaker:

and trending audio effects, that's also gonna give them the ability to unlock an

Speaker:

achievement after they publish their reel.

Speaker:

And they can keep track of the achievements that they haven't earned.

Speaker:

And Instagram is gonna start testing the achievements out

Speaker:

globally, starting this week.

Speaker:

And that's gonna be huge because now when you think about it, everything is

Speaker:

going to be going towards the creator economy for content creators next year.

Speaker:

2023 is gonna be an amazing year, and it's a year where you can really make

Speaker:

money with your content if you are strategic, if you're consistent, if.

Speaker:

Actually plan to create it, and you set time on your calendar to do that.

Speaker:

So if you have gotten away from making your reels on Instagram or even on

Speaker:

TikTok, it is time to get back to it and start doing it now, because

Speaker:

not only is it good for your personal brand and for your business, It also is

Speaker:

going to have a lot of monetization and benefits to it because these platforms

Speaker:

now with reels are going to be paying creators money to create content.

Speaker:

And it's already, you know, happening where some of you are getting invited

Speaker:

to say, Hey, do you want to, you know, turn on monetization and this

Speaker:

is happening in, you know, Facebook with their, With their marketplace,

Speaker:

you know, feature for video content, it's happening in a lot of places.

Speaker:

If you go back and listen to some of my previous podcast episodes,

Speaker:

you're gonna see that, you know, there's a lot of content creator

Speaker:

programs coming out, and so content creators are going to be rewarded.

Speaker:

For all the content that they create.

Speaker:

So if this is something that you want to focus on, you definitely can start

Speaker:

by, you know, utilizing Instagram, utilizing TikTok and, and just applying

Speaker:

to some of the programs that they have.

Speaker:

Another new feature that Adam Missouri announced is that Instagram is going to be

Speaker:

taking a complete overhaul of the website.

Speaker:

So what they're gonna do is they're gonna debut a new instagram.com design,

Speaker:

and that's going to allow users to take advantage of Instagram on the web.

Speaker:

That's gonna help them with multitasking purposes.

Speaker:

And the newer design is gonna be cleaner, faster, easier to use.

Speaker:

And it's gonna have a layout that's been designed to take advantage

Speaker:

of a larger screen monitor.

Speaker:

And his goal is that he's aiming to make the website as great of

Speaker:

a user experience as possible.

Speaker:

And I think that's great because sometimes when you wanna do research,

Speaker:

It's hard to just always hold your phone and, do research, but you can,

Speaker:

you know, sit on your computer and you can see everything nice and big.

Speaker:

It's easier to read post, It's easier to just take notes on the side.

Speaker:

I am super excited to see what the new website is gonna look

like and how it's going to enhance the overall user experience.
