Episode #100 : I Am He

In this episode from October 11, 2022, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo reads from and comments upon the eighth chapter of the gospel of St. John. The Pharisees try to trap Jesus into disobeying the law of Moses by bringing to him a woman caught in the act of adultery. Moses said that such a person should be stoned to death. What would Jesus say? In his wisdom he responds, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." The Pharisees all leave. Jesus does not condemn the woman but tells her to "Go and do not sin again". In his following teaching Jesus stresses that, "I am He", the one sent by the Father, and that he only says and does what pleases the Father. He came to save the world from sin and death, not to condemn it.
