Week 3 is in the books — and this time, Chiefs fans can be thankful there isn't much new to discuss on the injury front.
Recorded Monday night, the Blue Tent Breakdown crew reacts to the biggest injuries from around the NFL following Week 3 of the 2026 season.
Kansas City came out of its 24–10 win over Miami relatively healthy, so we quickly check in on the Chiefs before going around the league to focus on the injuries that could have a much bigger impact heading into Week 4. A to Z Sports
Week 3 wasn't nearly as quiet elsewhere. Among the notable injuries were Baker Mayfield's thumb, Justin Jefferson's ankle, Breece Hall's thigh, De'Von Achane's knee and Brian Burns' knee, along with several others around the league. Reuters
As always, we're interested in more than the injury designation. We look at these injuries through a sports medicine lens: What happened? What does the injury actually mean? What might recovery look like? And what could it mean for fantasy football?
Then we turn our attention to Week 4 and Chiefs vs. Raiders in Las Vegas. It's an unexpectedly interesting AFC West matchup between two 3–0 teams, and we finish the show by making our Chiefs bets and predictions.
Blue Tent Breakdown brings actual sports medicine experience into the NFL injury conversation, helping football and fantasy fans understand what's happening beyond questionable, doubtful and out.
