Speaker:

Welcome back to The becoming the big knee podcast.

Speaker:

I'm your host Djemilah Birnie and you are tuning into minute

Speaker:

madness, a little dose of epicness delivered in five

Speaker:

minutes or less.

Speaker:

What's up, you guys,

Speaker:

it is Djemilah Birnie here with becoming the big me. And I

Speaker:

wanted to talk to you about becoming fearless. So what even

Speaker:

is fear? Right? When you look at that word, what is it that you

Speaker:

feel when you hear the word fear? I want you to start

Speaker:

associating that word fear with false evidence appearing real,

Speaker:

right? Because that's all that our fears really are. It's us

Speaker:

thinking in our heads about something that could potentially

Speaker:

happen in the future, that probably won't even happen. And

Speaker:

making us believe that and so that's where our fears coming,

Speaker:

is coming from. So what how do you become fear less? Well, if

Speaker:

you look at that word, fearless, less fear, how do you have less

Speaker:

fear in your life, and therefore become fear less? Well,

Speaker:

the key to

Speaker:

having key to becoming fear less is to live in the present moment

Speaker:

is to live in the now to experience life as it is at this

Speaker:

very moment in time, because fear is you projecting forward

Speaker:

it's you projecting into the future and something that could

Speaker:

potentially happen in the future is giving you that fear. But

Speaker:

when you bring yourself back to the present moment, when you

Speaker:

bring yourself back to the now, you eliminate that fear, right,

Speaker:

so how do you become fear less? Well, you have less fear, how do

Speaker:

you have less fear? You get back into the present moment when you

Speaker:

think of the word fear? Think of false evidence appearing real

Speaker:

because it's made up stories in your mind that you are telling

Speaker:

yourself that is enticing that feeling of fear.
