Let’s look at Jesus as our example: washing the feet of the disciples, he was as a sheep to the Father and a shepherd serving the disciples. Show Notes: • We could be a sheep one day and a shepherd the next, then a sheep again. • Everything stems from being led of the Lord • There really is no positioning in the Lord, no one is greater than another. References: Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Isaiah 11:6  The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them. John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 1 Corinthians 15:24  then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to our God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. John 13:5  Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. Quotes: • We can change daily • One day you’re a shepherd, the next day you are a sheep • Sometimes you are the leader; sometimes you’re the ones being led. • Sometimes some little child could be a shepherd to you. Take Away: Even Jesus was submissive to His Father, and so should we be to those whom He has given us to minister with. Let’s create a synergistic flow that shows the Father that we are being obedient to John 15:12: “This is My commandment, that you love one another, jus as I have loved you.

We can change daily, we can be a sheep one day, and a shepherd another day. I think that's what's happening there's a transformation happening where people are realizing that they don't have to be a shepherd all the time or a sheep all the time. But they find out that they're both things. And it just depends on where they're at, and what's going, (Debbie: right, right)

Dale

Interdependence. I think that's an important thing that we have to learn because like it says, one day, you're a shepherd next day, you're a sheep.

What it all boils down to is, it's all who owns you. Whether you're a shepherd, or you're a sheep, who owns you? And the ministry that we have to one another, in an interdependence has to come from the same source. Whether you're a sheep, you follow because the shepherd is speaking, what the Father wants for His sheep. And vice versa.

This Shepherd is set to be a conduit of the heart of the Father to the sheep. Now God has set free, so many of His people, that they can become interdependent. One day, you'll stand up and you'll lead and the next day somebody else will.

Ed

It's the body of Christ as it's coming forth. One day, you're gonna have the Word. The next day, it'll be another person will have the Word, and you become the sheep listening to that Word. It's this whole thing of the Body of Christ coming together. Even though you may be an old timer in the group, you become a sheep before Him, (Debbie: yeah) and you have to have that willingness to be what God is setting up for that particular moment. You'll be a sheep; you'll be a shepherd; you'll be a sheep.

Wherever that time is, you take that position that you're supposed to take with it. Being a sheep; being a shepherd. Sometimes you're the leader; sometimes you're the ones being led.

Debbie

Sounds like you're being led by the Spirit, right guys? If we're led by the Spirit then we are sons of God. If we're sons of God, we're shepherds one of another. Sometimes we are sheep before the little ones. Sometimes some little child could be a shepherd to you.

I know that there's little children that have come up to me and said things that just blow me away or even my granddaughter. The key, I think, is having an ear to hear. As a shepherd, you have to be very sensitive. And as a sheep, you have to be very sensitive to hear the shepherd's voice.

Dale

You grow with the Father and His heart, and a shepherd; shepherd's heart to where it becomes a way of life. Being a shepherd and being a sheep is in everybody's DNA.
