SUMMARY:
In this day, the sons are called to be one, as the Father and the Son are one. Since the first-century church Christ has provided the way for oneness. To the extent that we are open in our hearts to one another, the fullness of Christ creates the oneness. Every part of the Body of Christ is needed to contribute to that flow of oneness. We open our hearts to be perfected in this oneness.
SHOW NOTES:
The will of God for us is that we all may be one.
When Christ said, “It is finished,” He was pointing to the fact that everything had been given for His believers to become one.
The provision of Christ's presence to be one has not been perfected or the world would have believed in Jesus Christ.
The Scriptures reveal that the provision for oneness is in the earth, we just need to believe by faith and make the commitment to become one.
Our relationships should be the practical application of this oneness as we relate and function in our families, churches and other connections.
The first-century church was an example, as they were of one heart and soul. (Acts 4:32). Thousands were brought into the church, because they witnessed the fullness of oneness in those believers.
In every instance that we see barriers to the oneness, we need to determine to break down those barriers in ourselves and in our brothers.
Christ's final prayer before His resurrection was that we be one—let us answer that call with all our hearts.
QUOTATIONS:
The fullness of Christ is already in the earth—in the Body of Christ.
To the extent that we are open in our hearts to one another, that creates the oneness.
God has already put His fullness the Body of Christ, but because of schisms, division, or whatever, we're not receiving.
The hard hurdle is to be open to your brother with all his faults, “problems.”
If we're not walking in it—not by theory, not by faith, but by actual experience—we have to look to ourselves, because the problem is not in Christ; the problem is within us.
I want to voice my oneness—my trusting the Lord—to give me the ability to reach into your heart and allow you to reach into mine.
Whatever God is giving you to do that is a little diverse from the rest of us, exercise it; but make sure you exercise it in a sense that it is a part of the whole thing that we're doing.
The keys in this—the practical keys—are the oneness and the love.
REFERENCES:
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as we are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the work may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.
But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, 'who will ascend into heaven?' (that is to bring Christ down) or “who will descend into the abyss?' (that is to bring Christ up from the dead) “ But what does it say? “the word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching.
For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the Body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
TAKE AWAY:
Oneness is more than what we can do on an individual basis. This s the day for the Father's family. In the whole time since the first-century church, the oneness has fallen short of the manifesting the flow of oneness that brought forth the thousands into believing in Jesus Christ. The fullness of Christ is already in the earth as a provision, we need to commit to hearing Christ speaking in each one of His Body. By His grace, we open up to participate in Christ coming forth in His oneness.
Ron:
Everything that Christ provided for us on the cross is all wrapped up in our oneness . And not just our oneness with Him and the Father, but it's our oneness with one another. That oneness is what opens up the provisions of Christ, because other than that, we can reach all day long into Christ in the heavens, and He's going to go, I've already put it in Christ in the earth, you need to open up and be one with one another.
The fullness of Christ , is already in the earth, in the body of Christ. The problem with it is, is that we're divided, in whatever measure. How one are we to one another? To the extent that we are open in our hearts to one another that creates the oneness . God has already put His fullness in the body of Christ, but because of schisms, divisions or whatever we're not receiving . If every joint supply is in every joint's not supplying then we limp . I just don't think we have to reach up to heaven to bring Christ down or in.
I don't think we have to do that. I think He's already provided it all. He said it was finished on the cross. It was already provided, not just in theory, but it was literally provided in the body of Christ. And then ever since then, we went through the dark ages. We went through all the Christian stuff. We went through everything to divide us, to stop us as a body to come into this oneness.
We're talking about the provisions of Christ. I think they're already here, it's just that we have to reach into one another's hearts and be open to the Christ, to one another. I don't even want to say to the Christ, because you have to take the whole package.
Monnie:
Are we able to open up to hear the Christ speaking in each one of us? Are we anticipating the word of Christ to come forth? How much do we love each other? Lord, open our hearts to love each other by His grace.
Ken:
In John 17, where Jesus spoke to the family, to the body, the world will know that I came when you're one, but He also said, I have given you My glory. It's not a future experience, it's already happened , and He mentioned the ones that would come after them. I have given them my glory. What is the glory of God? His presence, His anointing, His ministry, His life. We are one family, one body.
Ron:
The different provisions that Christ has provided for us to walk in, which aren't far off there today, they're now, those provisions already are imparted to the body of Christ in the earth.
They're not something we reach up in the heaven to bring down. In our oneness, we have to be open to one another. It's not open to Christ in the sky. Yes, you have to have that. Obviously, that's the beginning. The hard hurdle is to be open to your brother with all his faults, quote, problems. You're not open to Christ in your brother.
You're open to your brother, period. With all his problems, with all his personality quirks, everything, that's where the oneness begins to happen. God has already given us His glory, which is His presence, which is all the provisions we're looking for. Everything with life and godliness has already been imparted to the body of Christ in the earth.
If we're not walking in it, not by theory, not by faith, but actual experience, if we're not walking in that, the, those provisions, then we have to look to ourselves because the problem's not in Christ. The problem's within us. The problem is our oneness, our opening up to one another. And are we listening to the voice of God in one another?
Are we being selective? He has this quirk that I can't quite handle or whatever it is. We have to accept the whole package . Because of the schisms, because of the division in the body of Christ - it's like a real body. If part of your body is hurting, you're limping. You're not healthy. You're not doing well.
But if we are open and we're receiving the full man, my heart is open to you. You are in my heart, like Paul said it, or Peter, to live and die together.
Ken:
I want to voice my oneness, my trusting the Lord to give me the ability to reach into your heart and allow you to reach into mine. And I open my heart to each one of you,
Bill:
God's using all of our uniqueness, but He's doing it with us together. He's putting us together in oneness, even though we don't sound alike, look alike, maybe even think alike because He has given us a destiny and those destinies are unique and that they're to accomplish different things. It's all made available when God said, let there be, it was all set in motion, including our destinies and so on.
What we're doing is cooperating with Him and putting together in a body. The Word says something like, Jesus, the firstborn of many sons, doesn't say that the many sons are cookie cutters. It's many diverse sons. Everything that God needs to bring forth His kingdom on earth. Whatever God is giving you to do, that is a little diverse from the rest of us, exercise it, but make sure you exercise it in a sense that it's a part of the whole thing that we're doing.
Ron:
It's the oneness of the body. It's us, our love for one another. It's our concern for one another. We already have it within us. The healing's already within us. The deliverance from circumstances are already here. God has given us a provision already . As we become more one , we're going to walk in the immunities where we're going to be able to rebuke it in our own being and it goes bye bye.
We may not be there yet. But I do believe we're in the stepping stone now, our oneness and our each providing what the whole needs. Remember, we are not individuals. We, God sees us as a unit. He sees us, and when the unit is limping, He may allow that, but the only reason He's allowing it is so that we grow up and go, wait a minute. You've already given us this provision. It's here.
Janet:
We've been talking about principles of the kingdom. We've been talking about that oneness. And it's like revelations coming through that. And the love, making it practical in our lives. I bless the keys in this, the practical keys, which is the oneness and the love. For God's love to not be restrained in me. And in us
Ken: .
Oneness is more than what we can do on an individual level, but it is everything that we do as family. He's looking for a family. He said, now you're going to function as a family. You're going to minister to one another in my love until you're complete.
