Hang Out & Say Hi!
TONOR TC-777 Audio Device-1: Well, hello
there and welcome to another episode
2
:of the deeply rooted business podcast.
3
:It's me just today.
4
:I'm here solo because Rachel is
still out on maternity leave, taking
5
:care of that sweet, new baby boy.
6
:She has, I know she'll be back
with us shortly and I cannot wait.
7
:I'm ready to get back and
chatting with her and just
8
:hear all about her experience.
9
:But until then, you're stuck with me.
10
:And today we're going to be talking
about a very timely topic, because
11
:I know a lot of you out there
are wrapping up your launches of
12
:your group programs or courses.
13
:September is a really
popular time to launch.
14
:Before we get into the holidays.
15
:And while I know this should be a.
16
:Very exciting time for most business
owners, you're launching your program.
17
:You're getting new clients in there.
18
:It's a lot of high energy.
19
:I know that the reality that I
see sometimes is far from that.
20
:So instead of feeling energized and
motivated, maybe you feel really
21
:burnt out right now or overwhelmed.
22
:And just stressed out and really
like, you don't even have the
23
:capacity to celebrate all that.
24
:You've just accomplished because you
have worked so hard over the past month.
25
:So today we're going to explore
why this happens, but also
26
:what you can do to avoid it.
27
:Now.
28
:If you're feeling this way, just
know that burnout during your
29
:launch is a very common experience,
but it doesn't have to be.
30
:So today, I just really want to
explore some of the reasons or
31
:mistakes or root causes that I see
why this burnout tends to happen.
32
:And why you're getting so
stressed out during your launches.
33
:And more importantly, what
you can do to avoid it.
34
:So the number one reason or mistake that
I see entrepreneurs make when launching is
35
:over-complicating their launch strategy.
36
:And trying to do every strategy
or tactic they've seen or been
37
:taught by various business coaches.
38
:Like, you know, you've done it before,
like trying to do the webinars and the
39
:challenges and all the emails and the
social media blitz is all the once.
40
:And this more is better.
41
:Mentality is going to
quickly lead to burnout.
42
:Now I really don't blame you
for falling into this trap.
43
:I myself have fallen into this trap.
44
:And I think one of the root causes
of this is if you've ever bought a
45
:launch program or a course From one
of the bigger celebrity entrepreneurs.
46
:You will know that these programs are
packed full of very complex strategies.
47
:And a lot of times they're selling
the strategies that have made them
48
:successful, but not disclosing
the size of their team or their
49
:budget that has made this possible.
50
:And if you're not at that level, yet.
51
:Trying to execute the same level
strategy can be very overwhelming.
52
:And not even that, just some
of these courses are massive.
53
:Like the one I have has like 80
different modules and just consuming
54
:all that content is really overwhelming.
55
:And more importantly, executing on
that strategy is really overwhelming.
56
:So I think it's really important when
you're determining your launch strategy
57
:to make sure you are cherry picking
what works for you not trying to
58
:execute the exact strategy, pull it out,
decide what aligns with your capacity.
59
:And also how you
energetically like to show up.
60
:you don't have to host a masterclass
if you don't like showing up live.
61
:You do not have to do a challenge.
62
:If you do not have the capacity to
show up every day for five days.
63
:your launch can be successful.
64
:By you showing up the way that you
enjoy to show up and it's actually
65
:going to be more successful because your
potential students are going to see that.
66
:give yourself the grace to have a 1.0
or 2.0 or 3.0 version of your launch.
67
:And you can layer on different
strategies as you continue to
68
:launch and relaunch your programs.
69
:You don't have to do it all at once.
70
:if you have a smaller team.
71
:You just want to make sure
that the capacity is aligned
72
:with the scope of the project.
73
:And the deliverables of the launch.
74
:All right.
75
:So let's get into reason number two.
76
:And this is a lack of
having a strategic plan.
77
:So if you're like most of the visionary
entrepreneurs that I work with, you
78
:love to take action, but you feel
some kind of way about planning.
79
:It may not be your strongest suit.
80
:Sometimes you may feel
like you're wasting time.
81
:If you're not taking action.
82
:But the reality is that without a
clear strategic plan, your launch is
83
:going to feel chaotic and disorganized,
and you're going to find yourself
84
:reacting to problems as they arise.
85
:Rather than proactively
managing your launch.
86
:And this lack of direction is
going to lead to inefficiency.
87
:Waste of time and definitely an increase
of anxiety, because if you're trying
88
:to manage your launch from your head,
it can be very overwhelming because as
89
:you know, that launches have a lot of
different moving pieces and parts and
90
:trying to keep all of your to-dos in
your head is just going to be too much.
91
:So, you know, if you don't take the time
to plan your launch, then you're going to
92
:feel like you're constantly putting out
fires every day, rather than executing
93
:a well thought out in column strategy.
94
:Which is that way takes a lot more energy.
95
:And the number three reason behind launch
burnout that I see is inadequate support.
96
:So I see.
97
:Entrepreneurs trying to
do everything themselves.
98
:You know, as an entrepreneur,
we know how to get scrappy.
99
:So we have built our
businesses from the ground up.
100
:we know how to write the copy.
101
:We know how to design the sales page.
102
:We know how to create all the
launch assets and hop into Canva.
103
:We can attempt to put all the
moving tech pieces together.
104
:I think we get stuck in this belief that.
105
:if we DIY every aspect of our launch,
that's the only way we're going to be
106
:able to be in control or maintain profits.
107
:When the reality is that this solo
approach is going to quickly lead to
108
:more stress and burnout because you're
simply taking on too much and you're
109
:spreading yourself way too thin.
110
:And by doing this, you're going to
have very little time for self care.
111
:Reflection and the strategic thinking
that is critical to your launch success.
112
:And then the number four reason of.
113
:Launch burnout is ignoring
your personal wellness.
114
:So I work with a lot of wellness
entrepreneurs to help launch
115
:their group programs and courses.
116
:And ironically, I often see them
Nicolock their own wellbeing
117
:throughout the launch process.
118
:They're working longer hours.
119
:they may not be sleeping as well.
120
:They're having poor stress management
and this neglect often results in
121
:both physical and mental exhaustion.
122
:And by the time their launches over, they
are burnt to a crisp and too tired to
123
:even enjoy their success of their launch.
124
:And if you've ever experienced burnout,
you know that sometimes it can take
125
:weeks or even months to come back from.
126
:So this is no bueno.
127
:The good news is that all of
these root causes can be mitigated
128
:and burnout does not have to be
part of your launch experience.
129
:So let's now explore some strategies
to help you have a successful launch.
130
:That maximize his profits,
but also minimizes the stress.
131
:So the first thing that you're going to
do to have a more peaceful and profitable
132
:launch is simplify your strategy.
133
:and rather than try to implement
everything under the sun, you're
134
:going to focus on what truly matters.
135
:And you're going to choose two to
three strategies or tactics that align
136
:with girls' own strengths and how
you energetically, like to show up.
137
:this might mean prioritizing an
email only launch, or if you love
138
:to show up, live doing a masterclass
or a webinar while skipping the
139
:social media blitz altogether.
140
:By simplifying your strategy.
141
:You're going to reduce the amount
of moving parts in your launch and
142
:the potential for overwhelm And this
focused approach is going to allow you
143
:to deliver high quality content and
experience for your potential customers
144
:without spreading yourself too thin.
145
:All right.
146
:Number two, you're going to
create a step-by-step launch plan.
147
:I know that investing the time upfront
to plan your launch sounds like a total
148
:drag, but I promise you if you outline
every task, deadline, and responsibility,
149
:you're going to have so much more
peace of mind here in your launch.
150
:I highly recommend using a tool
like notion to capture this process
151
:so that you're able to easily
repeat it in future launches.
152
:And this plan is going to give
you a roadmap to make sure that
153
:you stay on track, that you're
meeting milestones and deadlines.
154
:So that you can effectively
manage your energy.
155
:It's also gonna allow you to feel way
more in control and less reactive,
156
:which is just a lot less exhausting
because you're going to know
157
:exactly what needs to happen next.
158
:And it's going to make the
whole entire process feel
159
:more manageable and enjoyable.
160
:Number three, you're
going to bring on support.
161
:I want you to recognize and give
yourself permission that you
162
:do not have to do it all alone.
163
:Build a support team, whether
that's hiring a virtual assistant
164
:graphic designer or working with a
launch project manager like myself.
165
:By delegating tasks.
166
:It's going to allow you to
focus your energy and effort on
167
:the pieces of the launch that
truly need your personal touch.
168
:And by sharing this workload,
you're going to free up both
169
:mental and emotional space.
170
:You're also going to bring on an
expertise that can help elevate
171
:your launch to be more successful.
172
:While making it less stressful.
173
:All right.
174
:Number four, you're going to
prioritize your own wellbeing.
175
:Bake your wellbeing.
176
:into your launch plan and make it a
non-negotiable make sure you schedule
177
:breaks, maintain a regular sleep
schedule and workout routine, and be
178
:sure to incorporate stress management
techniques like yoga, meditation, or
179
:breath work, whatever is your jam.
180
:If you're in the wellness business,
apply the same principles that you
181
:teach to your students to yourself.
182
:And by taking care of yourself, you'll
have the energy and clarity you need
183
:to execute your launch effectively.
184
:And show up as your most vibrant self, and
this is going to magnetize people to you.
185
:You're also going to be setting a
powerful example to your potential clients
186
:showing that success does not have to
mean sacrificing your own wellbeing.
187
:All right.
188
:So.
189
:I just want you to know.
190
:If you walk away knowing anything
from this program that launching
191
:does not have to lead to burnout,
and it doesn't have to be a slog.
192
:By simplifying your strategy,
creating a clear plan of action,
193
:bringing on the support you need
and prioritizing your wellbeing.
194
:You're going to be able to
launch with confidence and ease.
195
:Remember the key to a successful
launch is not just in the execution.
196
:It's maintaining your own wellbeing
and your high vibe energy So that
197
:you can attract potential students
and clients with the right approach.
198
:And I promise you that you can
achieve a more calm, organized, and
199
:profitable launch without the stress.
200
:So, if you're ready to take the stress out
of launching, I would love to support you.
201
:You.
