But Nick had remembered, he’d arranged for some flowers and a diamond necklace to be sent to Nora but instead the florist sent a bunch of lilies with a sympathy note and sent Nora’s flowers and diamonds to Gwen Gilroy a showgirl whom Nick used to date.
