Summary:
The Spirit of God is moving in our midst. The oneness He is creating in us causes us to function in a deeper level of spirit than before. It's a realm of His Spirit that we can lean on and trust. As long as we stay connected, we have a freedom to flow together and rest. Out of that rest comes a ministry in the Spirit of peace.
SHOW NOTES:
The Lord is working out His life in each one of his believers, and in that process He is connecting us into the Body of Christ.
Because of the “born again” experience, we begin to function and flow together in the spirit.
The relationships in the Spirit go deeper than the human level, so we begin to have more of a freedom of expression.
The Lord is the life line we can minister to each other, so we do not live in fear and worry, but we experience a family atmosphere where we can strengthen one another.
Each one of us has a unique gift given by God, but also a likeness that only he can put together to form His special creation called the Body of Christ.
Out of this oneness comes a rest where believers can cease the striving and the separateness that is empty and futile.
We open up to trust what God is doing in this new level of oneness.
QUOTATIONS:
How wonderful it is to flow in the Spirit and have the reality of God in our midst and know that we're all just living in a realm of spirit where the evil one, the wicked one, cannot touch us.
There's a rest that we have in Him, and when you have that rest, meaning you know He's there, it's something that carries you through the day.
Out of that rest comes moving in the Spirit.
The oneness that we've moved into is the greatest gift God has given us to function and go forward in the things of God.
God's calling us into a level of oneness and it is a marvelous, wonderful place, because when we rest in the Lord, that means we're trusting what God is doing in everything.
Our combined functioning as a unit, as one, we are truly the most effective that we can be before the Lord.
REFERENCES:
Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
“ I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”
Therefore, let us fear if while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it.
TAKE AWAY:
We don't want to come short of the rest that the Lord has promised us. We cry out to Him to make us one in the Spirit, so we can flow together in a deeper level. We take the initiative in our own hearts to seek Him to write this oneness on our hearts. If we ask Him, He will do it. We pray, Lord, we trust You; you will do it.
Ken:
What a wonderful day it is to know the Lord and know that the Lord is working out His life, His way within each one of us. It's beautiful. We're all so connected in with the Lord, with His Spirit, because we've been born again into that Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord. And that's how we function and flow together.
We can be offensive to one another on one level, and yet, not ever even been be shaken on a spirit level. Have you ever noticed that? We can say things that are completely opposite to what we really believe in but if we're in one spirit It doesn't take us off of being spiritual. There's like a spirit of forgiveness that we walk in we live in it's the spirit of God moving in and through our midst. It's an amazing thing to be in the day where we just are living In a spirit realm outside of all the calamity, all of the, all the problems, all the things going on the earth, and we can be free and not be fearful. How wonderful it is to flow in the spirit and have the reality of God in our midst and know that we're all just living in a realm of spirit where the evil one, the wicked one cannot touch us.
Tell you, as long as we stay connected to each other and are free to move and function in the spirit, we will walk in a freedom.
Cindy:
There's a rest that we have in Him. And when you have that rest , meaning, you know, He's there, He's there, He's there. It's something that carries you through the day . But this thing of resting and not fretting, is He there or calling Him in?He's here. He's with us.
Ken:
Out of that rest comes moving in the spirit. There is a ministry that comes out of our spirits. in the level of oneness that we've reached into and we minister strength and the anointing of the Lord. We just see the peace and the rest that we have that flows because God is with us.
He is our protection. He is our shield. He is our life. He's our light. He's everything that we need in every circumstance that we face. He is in us. He is with us, and He works through us. We come into this new day, not by rote, not by education or learning, but by revelation. And as we come in and we connect with the family, we find it's a place of being taught by the Lord through one another, strengthened by one another. It's just a whole nother ball game. It is actually the design that God had from the very beginning of the body of Christ. Oneness is such an important gift. The oneness that we've moved into is the greatest gift God has given us to function and go forward in the things of God.
More revelation comes through oneness than any other method. If you're an individual and you have revelation, it's not the same as having revelation in the family where we all hear the word and it's confirmed in our hearts and we go forward.
Dale:
One thing we're coming to realize each one of us has a unique gift. If you've ever put together a puzzle bigger than five pieces, you realize that's part of what God is saying about oneness. You're very unique, but remember, you are a part of putting this big puzzle together. That's where we come together in this depth of oneness that you're talking about, Ken. We've got to understand that being unique and diverse does not take away that we have a great deal of similarities and even exactness. That comes from our lineage, that comes from our inheritance, because we're all have the same Father. We're all the same product of the same Spirit that created all of creation. Does that diminish our uniqueness?
No, that makes us more unique. Each one of us have a personal relationship with God. And what do we bring to this great puzzle? That personal relationship.
Ken:
When you think about the body, you think about all the individual parts and each one is functioning, making up the whole. If we weren't all ministering, there'd be something lacking.
All of those parts were important. Thank God that we have received this born again experience and we function as members, as a part of the family, a part of the body of Christ. God will not bless individuality outside of the family. He just won't. And so you feel that difficulty. You feel that, that frustration.
I tell you, God's calling us into a level of oneness and it is a marvelous, wonderful place because when we rest in the Lord, that means we're trusting. We're trusting what God's doing in everything that He's doing. You trust. what He's doing.
Does that mean we stop praying and believing? No, that doesn't mean that at all. It's a level when we pray, we trust, we believe, and we function in that level of spirit together. And our combined functioning as a unit, as one, we are truly the most effective that we can ever be before the Lord.
