Happy Pride Month from the Bloody Blunts Cinema Club, where here on episode 5 we're celebrating by continuing coverage on the Chucky franchise. Volume 2 brings two increasingly gay entries to the killer doll series as Chucky struggles to become a husband and father, respectively. Bride & Seed of Chucky are all about identity, a big topic in the queer community so I brought in some back-up in the form of dynamic horror-writing duo BJ & Harmony Colangelo! We have a great conversation about the series' tonal shift, Seed's depiction of gender dysphoria, and Don Mancini's importance to the queer community of horror.
