In 1972, Baltimore Colts Defensive End Bubba Smith blew out his knee in the fourth quarter of a pre-season game. He missed the 1972 season and was never the same player.

In 1997, Arsenal's Dennis Bergkamp scored what many believe to be the greatest Hat Trick in EPL history.

In 1977, Texas Rangers hitters Toby Harrah and Bump Wills hit back-to-back inside the park home runs. It's the only time in MLB history that's happened.
