Today, boys and girls, we're going to be speaking about building a coaching business.

Speaker:

Now, a few people have been asking me about this recently, if I could do a podcast on this.

Speaker:

So I thought, why not, boys and girls?

Speaker:

Okay.

A lot of the key problems that clients are coming to me with is they don't have enough, they're not making enough money, right?

Speaker:

They're hustling, they can't sell and they're getting no results.

Speaker:

So, I'm going to touch on these four topics today on how you can go from not making enough money in your business to being banked.

Speaker:

From hustling all the time to actually having the lifestyle that you want.

Speaker:

from not being able to sell to being able to close clients easily and efficiently to also going into, you know, potentially not getting really good results for your clients, how you can be a better teacher and better mentor and a better coach.

Okay, so stick around.

First things first.

Speaker:

I want to tell you guys about something really, really exciting.

Speaker:

So yes, I'm going to be discussing these topics today, but I'm going to be going even deeper in my workshop that is free, goes from 10 to 4 p.m., and I'm really excited to deliver this.

So, first problem, not enough money.

Speaker:

So boys and girls, I want to ask you, have you gotten really clear on what specifically you are chasing?

Speaker:

So for me, at the very start of the year, right,

Speaker:

I knew that I wanted to be a millionaire this year.

Speaker:

I desired to be a millionaire.

Speaker:

And I knew that to be a millionaire, if I broke that down, that was $83,000 a month.

Speaker:

Now,

Speaker:

I knew that I would have to A, launch something or B, have enough programs to be able to make that money.

Speaker:

So, I kind of worked backwards.

Speaker:

If I wanted to make a million dollars, how would I make $83,000 a month?

Speaker:

Okay, work backwards.

Speaker:

What programs am I offering?

Speaker:

What launches have I got running?

Speaker:

What programs are out there?

Speaker:

So, for you, I want you to start thinking about right now.

Speaker:

How much do you actually want to make?

Speaker:

For the coaches that I'm working with in reclamation, they're wanting to achieve $10,000 months, right?

Speaker:

For the people that I'm working with in cash codes and clients, they've already done $15,000, $20,000, $30,000 and they're wanting to learn how to scale.

Speaker:

And it is a different mindset.

Speaker:

So I want to go back to the basics today of talking about potentially let's get to $10,000.

Speaker:

So, what offer do you have currently?

Speaker:

If you're someone that is doing psychic readings or you're someone that is doing healings or you're someone that is doing coaching for only $1,000, it's going to be harder for you to get to $10,000 than if you're someone who's actually already offering $3,500 coaching or someone that's already doing programs at $10,000, right?

Speaker:

my high level, it's so easy.

Speaker:

The reason I got to $250,000 in a month was because obviously my high ticket is high tickets.

Speaker:

I only had to sell a few humans to get to that plus my already programs that range from 8,000 to 40,000.

Speaker:

So it just depends with what specifically your program is and then what the value is.

Speaker:

So one thing I also want to say is

Speaker:

The not having enough money could also be the money stories that you have.

Speaker:

Now, in one of my earlier episodes, we talked about money, right?

Speaker:

I also have a money program called Money Codes The Program, and we deep dive into

how specifically you can retrain your unconscious mind.

Speaker:

You can rewire your unconscious mind so that you can actually hold this money, not only hold that money, but also to how you can call that money in energetically.

Speaker:

Now, you guys all know I'm an energetic business coach, so my main

thing that I work with with people is connection to ourself, connection to spirit guides, connection to the divine, you know, using the energetics in your business.

Speaker:

And so the key problem that I see is people not making enough money but they don't have a fucking bullseye, they don't have a fucking target.

Speaker:

Let's say I want to go on a hike that is two hours away and I'm just like, ah, I'll just let the universe guide me on where to go.

Speaker:

Nah,

Speaker:

Although you could actually tune into your intuition and say, okay, Spur guys, do I turn left here or right here?

Speaker:

Do I turn left here or right here?

Speaker:

Do I turn left here or right here?

Speaker:

It's going to take you a wee while to get there.

Speaker:

Potentially, you're not going to make your direct line to get there, right?

Speaker:

where if you put it into Maps, Google Maps, I want to go to Leamington National Park and I want to go there now, right?

Speaker:

You're going to have a direct way, route to get there.

Speaker:

This is the exact same with when you're wanting to get to 10K months or 20K months.

Speaker:

It's like, all right.

Speaker:

I want to get to 10k months, that's the bullseye.

Speaker:

How can I work backwards?

Speaker:

Okay, I need to know that I'm going to launch a masterclass this month.

Speaker:

That's going to give me a pool of people that I can then sell to.

Speaker:

I'm going to make sure that my content is fucking on point every single time.

Speaker:

Every single day, I'm going to make sure that my messaging is on point.

Speaker:

I'm going to make sure my branding is on point.

Speaker:

I'm going to make sure that I'm in total alignment with my content so that I know that I'm selling to people.

Speaker:

This is another thing too, which I'm going to get to in number three, which is people not selling.

Speaker:

Actually, fuck it.

Speaker:

We're going there now.

Speaker:

Guys, we're skipping over hustling.

Speaker:

We're going to come back.

Speaker:

If you want to get more banks, have a fucking bullseye.

Speaker:

It's plain and motherfucking simple, right?

Speaker:

Going into can't selling people, people feel scared to ask for the sale.

Speaker:

People feel scared to sell on those stories.

Speaker:

I'm selling to you right now.

Speaker:

Boom, motherfuckers, I love you.

Speaker:

And I just want you to know that like literally the reason I'm selling to you right now is because I know that I'm fucking worthy and I know that my programs are fucking awesome, right?

Speaker:

And so I want you to have that same

tenacity, that same like ooze and zest for your own programs.

Speaker:

If you know that your program is fucking amazing, then why wouldn't you want to sell it, right?

Speaker:

People that are scared to sell programs or scared to sell coaching, I would actually go into

Speaker:

your trust with yourself.

Speaker:

Like this gets to be transformation work, right?

Speaker:

And this is the thing.

Speaker:

It's like in business coaching, it's like are you doing transformation work or are you doing business coaching?

Speaker:

There's a lot of my clients and I'm still doing a lot of hardcore transformation work because it's about actually having a paradigm shift to being able to be worthy to being able to then coach or mentor your clients.

Speaker:

So, I really want to go into this.

Speaker:

If you're finding that you can't sell,

Speaker:

learn a sales script.

Speaker:

When I first started doing this, oh my god, I, you know, went into this coaching room and I learned a sales script and I practiced that sales script out fucking loud in the mirror for weeks, right?

Speaker:

And then guess what?

Speaker:

I literally

Speaker:

started jumping on sales calls.

Speaker:

And then guess what?

Speaker:

I failed.

Speaker:

Of course, guys, I failed.

Speaker:

Like every fucking human, right?

Speaker:

Every human at some point fails.

Speaker:

That's the only way for you to know that you're actually, you either either pivot or B, you give up.

Speaker:

Now, I don't know.

Speaker:

Do you want to be person A, the person that actually like pivots?

Speaker:

Or do you want to be person B, the person who fails?

Speaker:

If you're the person that fails, stop listening to this podcast.

I'm sorry.

This is not for you.

Speaker:

If you're person A, that is all in and is like, you know what?

Speaker:

I'm going to pivot.

Speaker:

I'm going to give it a really fucking good hot crack and I'm going to continuously learn and be tenacious.

Speaker:

I hope that's the right word, tenacious.

Speaker:

I'm going to be tenacious in the deliverable of what I do and I'm just going to keep fucking going.

Speaker:

Keep putting one step in front of the other, right?

Speaker:

we're selling, I ended up formulating a sales script that is so fucking juicy.

Speaker:

This sales script took me a year to formulate and it was based on, you know, getting in real deep rapport with clients.

Speaker:

It was about, actually guys, this is a whole nother conversation and another podcast coming.

Speaker:

I'm going to go into a sales script.

Speaker:

We're going to go into a sales script because it's going to be fucking epic.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So listen up for that.

Next month that'll come out.

So,

Going into your sales script, it needs to come from passion and you need to know that you're fucking worthy.

Speaker:

So if you need to go and pay a transformation coach or get a business coach like me that will do the transformation work with you so that we can hold your hand so that you can actually get the steps to having the finances that you want.

Because that's the thing, right?

Speaker:

People that can't sell aren't making the money.

Speaker:

And then if that happens, what they're really desiring

Speaker:

is the finances, the desiring the freedom, the desiring the choice.

Speaker:

And that's one massive thing that I've been able to achieve this year is financial freedom.

Speaker:

I actually went out for coffee with, I don't drink coffee, I went out for coffee with one of my best guy mates from Melbourne, shout out to you Jude.

Speaker:

And we went out yesterday, and he was saying that he's been earning a lot of money for a very long time.

Speaker:

And he's like, you kind of just get like, oh, yeah, we're making this sort of money.

Speaker:

It's kind of like really normal now.

Speaker:

It's normal to be able to buy whatever we want.

Speaker:

It's normal to just consistently eat whatever food we want to whenever we want to.

Speaker:

We're at this desired lifestyle now that we're financially free.

Speaker:

Essentially, it's easy.

Speaker:

I pay for my whole family to come up to Queensland next week.

Speaker:

I'm so excited.

Speaker:

I get to see my whole family.

Speaker:

And it's like, I now get to do whatever I want to because I have the money and the freedom and the lifestyle.

Speaker:

However, it hasn't been a fully easy journey.

Speaker:

And I want you guys to know this, a lot of people start the coaching industry, which comes back to my number two, hustling, right?

Speaker:

A lot of people come into the coaching industry because they think they can make quick money.

Speaker:

And if you're in the industry because you think you can make quick money,

Speaker:

Fuck you.

Speaker:

Sorry, disclaimer, I'm swearing at you.

Speaker:

It's the truth.

Speaker:

Don't not come into this industry because you think you can make money.

Speaker:

You're going to fuck up our reputation as the industry, right?

Speaker:

Come into the industry because you are passionate about helping people or you are passionate about the message that you have to do.

Speaker:

And then, fuck yes, money will come.

Speaker:

You know I'm all about being banked.

Speaker:

However, don't come in here with the attitude of, it's just going to be a quick fix, I want to make money, right?

Speaker:

It has to be more, there has to be more depth.

Speaker:

And this is the thing, I've seen a lot of people start the industry.

Speaker:

Like, for instance, the coaching room that I was in, there was a hundred and maybe 20 of us when we first started NLP.

Speaker:

Out of the 120 people that started NLP, I only know a handful of them that are coaching, and I only know a handful of them that are actually successful.

Speaker:

And there are people coming out of NLP fucking left, right and center.

Speaker:

So it's like come into the industry because you're passionate about a message and you're passionate about helping someone because you know that there's a bigger mission.

Speaker:

And then this brings me back to like the biggest teaching I have on this earth, which is your mission.

Speaker:

If you're not in alignment with your mission, you're not going to make money.

Speaker:

Simple.

Speaker:

Simple, simple, simple, simples.

Speaker:

You know that little meerkat?

Speaker:

Sheables.

Speaker:

I love that little meerkat.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So this comes into my number two.

Speaker:

Hustling.

Speaker:

There will be a phase, and other coaches will tell you that there won't be, but I'm fucking calling bullshit.

Speaker:

I'm calling bullshit.

Speaker:

I've sworn a lot today.

Speaker:

I hope you don't mind.

Speaker:

No, you don't mind.

Speaker:

I know you love it.

Speaker:

You love it.

Speaker:

So hustling, right?

Speaker:

There is this fucking hustle that has to start for you to actually go from making or having a normal little business to actually like building and really making impact.

Speaker:

For any business owner or any coach out there that is doing over 20k a month and they're telling you that there's been no hustle, man, I smell bullshit.

Speaker:

a mile away because there is this piece right where you have to put in the hours

Speaker:

to build the brand, to build the systems, to build the support in your business, to build the energetics, to build the messaging, like all of these things is how you create your business.

Speaker:

Not only that, but how much transformation work have you had to grow through to become this version of you where you're now the teacher and the coach and the facilitator and the mentor?

Speaker:

I really want to just like

Speaker:

Any really successful person, I fucking take my hat off to them.

Speaker:

I'm like, I bet you they've worked with so many personal development coaches to really get through their fear, their limiting beliefs, like truly fucking hats off to them.

Speaker:

The amount of transformation work I've also had to do to overcome being scared of talking on social media.

Speaker:

You know, May last year I sat in a training room where I was crying on stage, literally crying in fear because I didn't want to speak.

Speaker:

Yet I knew there was like, my soul was like guiding me to like get on stage to speak because I knew that I had a bigger message.

Speaker:

And now that I've been able to overcome this, I'm like literally standing here right now or sitting here right now and there's three cameras pointing at me and there's camera crew all around me.

Speaker:

It's one of those things that I've had to overcome because I know that the

Speaker:

direction my soul is taking me is going to be on bigger stages, is going to be, you know, in front of bigger crew.

Speaker:

And so I'm doing the reps now.

Speaker:

It's like I'm doing the reps now.

Speaker:

You know, going to the gym, I probably started off with a four kilo dumbbell.

Speaker:

And then by the end of the year, you're at 12 or 15 or whatever kilo dumbbell you're putting in the reps to being able to be strong.

Speaker:

And it's the same thing with any business.

Speaker:

You've got to consistently put in the reps

Speaker:

so that you can build the business.

Speaker:

And if anyone tells you that you don't have to hustle, I call fucking bullshit, right?

Speaker:

There will be a period where you will sacrifice to hustle to get yourself to that next level.

Speaker:

Now, I made that commitment to myself at the start of the year.

Speaker:

I said to myself, Nat, you're going to hustle this year,

Speaker:

In order for you to build the business to seven figures and then next year, you're going to create the dream lifestyle that you want, right?

Speaker:

And I'm already doing that now.

Speaker:

You know, I have January, February, March, April, May, June, July.

Speaker:

August, I hustled.

Speaker:

September, I started to pivot my business.

Speaker:

October, fully pivoting, where next month, I'm only going to be doing 10 hours of delivery a week, and then I get to use that time to do other things, which guys, really exciting news, I'm actually starting to write a book, which is really fucking cool.

Speaker:

And so I've now got the freedom to be able to write this book, also create this modality that's birthing through me, which is really exciting, guys.

Speaker:

And I'm going to be able to gift this to the world.

Speaker:

So again, it's about bigger mission.

Speaker:

It's about bigger impact.

Speaker:

It's about helping more humans, right?

Speaker:

Which is the reason I started the industry.

Speaker:

Yes, I did it to make money and to

Speaker:

to live this lifestyle also like way deeper that the reason what drives my hustle all the time and you guys will probably find the same thing.

Speaker:

What drives your hustle is actually the impact that you want to create on this earth.

Speaker:

It's the people that you want to help on this earth.

Speaker:

So, the key problem I see in businesses is that they're not willing to give a little hustle.

Speaker:

I'm sorry, babes.

Speaker:

Give a little hustle and give yourself a time frame.

Speaker:

Okay, it might be two months.

Speaker:

I'm going to put in the work.

Speaker:

I'm going to hustle for two months to build the system to get to the next step.

Speaker:

I was talking to a girlfriend on Saturday, actually.

Speaker:

and she has a really successful business.

Speaker:

She's got 52 employees.

Speaker:

Now, she spent a whole year building out systems and bringing legal team on so that she could create the foundation for her to now take out time.

Speaker:

She now only works from eight to one, Monday to Friday, and then does whatever the fuck she wants every other day.

Speaker:

And now she's even thinking about putting a business partner in there so she can actually step away from the business completely.

Speaker:

And so,

Speaker:

But she did sacrifice that little bit to get to where she is.

Speaker:

I know one of my mentors, who's incredibly successful, she grinded for three years to build her business.

Speaker:

Now she's traveling the world.

Speaker:

There's pieces where you will

Speaker:

hustle to give an outcome.

Speaker:

And so, yeah, I did what I said I was going to at the start of the year.

Speaker:

I was like, I'm going to hustle to the point of not doing this.

Speaker:

And also, one thing that I've really learned that you guys don't have to do that I fully fucked up with, and I'm fully here to own it so I can help you guys, is I didn't really give myself

Speaker:

a hobby.

Speaker:

Literally everything I do is related to my business.

Speaker:

I shoot you not everything that I do is.

Speaker:

All my friends are coaches.

Speaker:

I speak to all my family members about coaching.

Speaker:

All of the mentors I have is obviously around coaching.

Speaker:

My spare time is going to personal development workshops.

Speaker:

My whole time is speaking.

Speaker:

My whole life in existence is the coaching industry, personal development, spirituality, spiritual development.

Speaker:

For me, my mentor said to me about two months ago, Nat, you need a hobby.

Speaker:

And I was like, hmm, what should I do here?

Speaker:

Because even when I'm reading books, I'm reading books about branding.

Speaker:

I'm reading books about, you know, experts.

Speaker:

I'm reading books about how I can teach or serve even better, right?

Speaker:

So, I'm literally consuming everything that I do.

Speaker:

My content is all consumed by

Speaker:

how I can grow myself, my mindset, my business.

Speaker:

So, when he said to me, I need a hobby, I was like, what the fuck?

Speaker:

What do I do?

Speaker:

What will I do with myself, right?

Speaker:

And so, guys, I'm taking up archery.

Speaker:

Now, I know this is a bit of a random story.

Speaker:

We're getting a little off topic here, but you know me, we're going to go on a little side tangent.

Speaker:

So,

Speaker:

I've always liked hitting a bullseye, which is literally what I spoke about at the start.

Speaker:

Hitting a bullseye.

Speaker:

And I have wanted for years, I keep seeing archery.

Speaker:

My brother and I played darts when we were younger.

Speaker:

And I've always thought, fuck, archery would be really cool.

Speaker:

And then I was at Tony Robbins and I was thinking to myself, I really need to fucking hurry up and get my hobby started.

Speaker:

And then, of course, as I was thinking that, I shit you not, I shit you not, the universe, right?

Speaker:

This guy comes and sits next to me.

Speaker:

Also, the guy actually was trying to flirt with me.

Speaker:

I was like, oh, no, thank you, sir.

Speaker:

He was like, oh, I really like your jewelry.

Speaker:

Oh, you're really pretty.

Speaker:

I was like, thanks, man.

Speaker:

How are you, bro?

Speaker:

Whenever I'm trying to put them into the friends zone, I'm like, man, bro.

Speaker:

Anyway, this man, bro, sits down.

Speaker:

He starts telling me he does archery.

Speaker:

I was like, get the fuck out of town.

Speaker:

I've literally been talking about this.

Speaker:

I've been talking about the fact that I want to do this.

Speaker:

I was like, thank you, universe, for sending this guy over to me.

Speaker:

Now I'm going to do it.

Speaker:

And then Tony Robbins literally starts talking about a bullseye, and then he talks about Robin Hood.

Speaker:

And I'm like, all right, three signs, one hour, I'm doing it.

Speaker:

So I called, booked in.

Speaker:

Guys, next week, I start archery.

Speaker:

And yes, I'm going to tell you how it is.

Speaker:

I will do a fucking podcast episode on it.

I'm excited.

Speaker:

So, that's going to be a hobby that I have and I'm really only starting this as a hobby.

Speaker:

Now, another thing that I really like to do and this, look, people may say it's a hobby, people may say it's not.

Speaker:

I love walking.

Speaker:

Like, I love the way it feels in my body to walk for two hours at a time.

Speaker:

And so, that is one hobby.

Speaker:

Another hobby is also like just going to the beach and just chilling the fuck out, listening to the waves, watching the waves, you know, grounding in, right?

Speaker:

So, I wish I had implemented hobbies earlier and so for those of you who are hustling, please allow yourself like two hours a week of hobby time.

Speaker:

Hobby time that's completely separate to your business and another thing is doing something that you love every week.

Speaker:

doing something that you love every week, okay?

Speaker:

That's one thing that I've also started implementing is like, what is something super fun, super cool, super creative that I can do that's fun, that's flowy, that's with friends, that's connection, that's all the things that I love, like my high values, right?

Speaker:

So, coming into building the coaching business, another thing I really wanna go into is your clients not getting the results.

Speaker:

Now, one thing that my mentor says to me is that, when you step, I will step.

Speaker:

So really making sure you pre-frame this with your clients at the start and maybe at the start of every session.

Speaker:

Hey, beautiful soul.

Speaker:

When you step, I step.

Speaker:

When you step, I step.

Speaker:

And then also putting a system in place that you can hold them accountable every week, that you check in with them every week.

Speaker:

Or maybe it's every second week that you have.

Speaker:

But having a system in place that is going to allow them to check in with you.

Speaker:

Do they want to be stretched?

Speaker:

Do they want to be supported?

Speaker:

Do they need to be held?

Speaker:

What is the step that you can do or implement into your business that is going to make them feel held now?

Speaker:

It's also on them if they're going to do the work or not, right?

Speaker:

I actually have been thinking about this a lot in the coaching industry.

Speaker:

I don't want to fucking inspire someone to be in their business.

Speaker:

Now, that may be a controversial topic.

Speaker:

I want to inspire everyone to fulfill their mission and live out their soul's purpose, but I don't want to have to inspire them and enroll them in their own business.

Speaker:

So for instance, I was having this conversation with another old mentor the other day.

Speaker:

We caught up and had a lot of catch ups this week with friends, which has been really, really nice.

Speaker:

And he was saying, now I got really sick of teaching people that were going from zero to 10K.

Speaker:

I was getting sick of teaching them or inspiring them to actually be in their own business.

Speaker:

And I'm like, fuck, you're right.

Speaker:

You know, as a coach, I shouldn't have to be like, what are you doing now in your business?

Speaker:

Are you wanting to do this in your business?

Speaker:

Like, really, if you're a coach in the industry, you should be finding innovative ways for you to be creative and you to live out your soul's mission because you're so fucking passionate and you love the business that you built.

Speaker:

And if you don't love the business that you build, you don't feel passionate about it, why are you doing it?
