Shownotes

In this engaging episode, Jeanne and Jamie discuss the power of live video in business growth. Jamie Hayne, a seasoned coach specializing in helping coaches and online service-based entrepreneurs get comfortable with live video, joins the show to provide actionable advice. They break down the barriers that hold people back from going live and offer practical tips to build confidence and connection through video content.

Key Talking Points:

1. Overcoming Live Video Fears: Jamie encourages individuals to list their worries and fears about going live and tackle each concern one by one. Addressing imaginary concerns and building a plan to manage real ones is essential.

2. Start Slow with Prerecorded Videos: Jamie suggests easing into live videos by creating prerecorded content first. Schedule these videos to release at specific times, which helps establish a regular online presence and prepares you for live broadcasts.

3. Benefits of Going Live: Live videos offer several advantages, including algorithm boosts and notifications that prompt immediate engagement. The two-way dialogue with your audience enhances connection and authenticity, fostering stronger relationships.

4. Embrace Imperfections: Both hosts emphasize the importance of authenticity. Sharing stories, being yourself, and connecting with your audience genuinely can lead to better engagement and growth.

5. Content Ideas for Going Live: To combat the challenge of finding topics to discuss on live videos, Jamie suggests repurposing existing content. Revisit successful social media posts and turn them into compelling live video topics by adding personal stories and experiences.

6. Engaging Your Audience: The hosts highlight the significance of interaction and engagement during live videos. Addressing comments and questions in real-time fosters connection and allows for clarification and deeper conversations.

7. Storytelling Impact: Storytelling is a powerful tool in live video content. Jamie shares her "POW bubble" technique, which involves deriving multiple stories from a single quote or concept, thereby creating a series of engaging content.

As the episode wraps up, the hosts emphasize the need for businesses to shift from content consumers to content creators. Engaging with viewers through live videos can lead to stronger connections and conversions. Jamie's expertise sheds light on the journey from apprehension to confidence in going live, making this episode a valuable resource for entrepreneurs looking to harness the potential of video marketing.

Transcripts

Speaker:

Hi everybody.

Speaker:

We are spending every Tuesday at 12:00 PM Central time right now.

Speaker:

You're gonna learn something.

Speaker:

You're gonna learn something is going to make you better on camera.

Speaker:

Who's ready?

Speaker:

Who's ready?

Speaker:

Today's gonna be special.

Speaker:

We're gonna do something very, very interesting.

Speaker:

We are gonna talk today about what the heck goes on in this

Speaker:

Get on camera Facebook group.

Speaker:

'cause we've got so many new people.

Speaker:

I thought this was the perfect time to share that and then refresh it.

Speaker:

For those of you that have been here a while, so you ready?

Speaker:

Okay, so lots of new folks have joined this get on camera Facebook

Speaker:

group, mostly for the Go Live challenge, which happened last week.

Speaker:

So what I wanted to do is spend some time today and just run through

Speaker:

how things work inside this group.

Speaker:

What are the different ways that I can get involved, that you can get involved?

Speaker:

Um, what are the rules?

Speaker:

What are the guidelines?

Speaker:

It's, it's, it's really just about, Um, continuing the fun and the, the

Speaker:

learning that we had in the get on or on the Go Live challenge, how does that

Speaker:

continue in here during like normal non-training times or non challenge times?

Speaker:

Okay, so first of all, what I wanna share is that those of you,

Speaker:

I've gotten a number of, of, um, questions about, can I still finish?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

If you want, if you only went live two or three times, or maybe you only went

Speaker:

live once and you wanna go through and use all the topic prompts, do it.

Speaker:

If you wanna take all months.

Speaker:

To do it, go for it, and I'll be here cheering you on watching

Speaker:

your videos the whole way through.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

The one call out that I will make is that today is the last day for the

Speaker:

videos, the workbooks and the Zoom calls.

Speaker:

All three of those things are gonna be pulled down tomorrow morning.

Speaker:

Um, and I, I know some of you have said, will you please extend, I can't

Speaker:

extend because I gotta honor the people who, um, purchased the v i p

Speaker:

upgrade for the Go Live challenge.

Speaker:

Um, and so I'm being.

Speaker:

I'm being respectful of them.

Speaker:

So all of those things will come down first thing tomorrow morning.

Speaker:

So what I would tell you is this, um, Prioritize watching those, those

Speaker:

videos, the, the four 10 minute videos.

Speaker:

Day one, day two, day three, day four, where you actually learning something.

Speaker:

Watch those videos, download the workbooks, do that.

Speaker:

If nothing else, do that.

Speaker:

Um, you should have received an email from me on Saturday with all of those links.

Speaker:

Or you can go to the guys and you can find 'em all.

Speaker:

So that's what I would say.

Speaker:

Prioritize that.

Speaker:

If you have time and you wanna get to the Zoom calls, there's no way you're gonna

Speaker:

be able to watch all four Zoom calls.

Speaker:

Today plus do all of that all before all of it goes away.

Speaker:

So what I would tell you to do is scan the timestamp.

Speaker:

Each of those Zoom calls has a timestamp where every single topic we

Speaker:

cover and, and what time it was at.

Speaker:

So you can fast forward to the different sections where you,

Speaker:

you want it to be, okay, or what, what interests you basically.

Speaker:

So, um, that's what I would say those were included in the Saturday

Speaker:

email that you got as well.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Let me know if you got any questions on that.

Speaker:

Alright.

Speaker:

Now.

Speaker:

Um, the other question, um, that I've gotten is, can I,

Speaker:

can I go live on other stuff?

Speaker:

Like we've talked about continuing the Go Live challenge, but I finished

Speaker:

the Go Live challenge and now what I wanna, I wanna talk about other stuff.

Speaker:

So here are the rules.

Speaker:

Um, you can go live in this group.

Speaker:

There are a number of different opportunities to do that.

Speaker:

There are three kind of rules, if you will.

Speaker:

I don't like the word rules 'cause that seems so, uh, but we're gonna call

Speaker:

'em rules for lack of another word.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So number one is that every week I'm gonna give you a topic prompt every

Speaker:

Monday, just like we did in the challenge.

Speaker:

So those topic prompts are suggestions, ideas, thoughts for what

Speaker:

you could go live and talk about.

Speaker:

So as long as you are talking about that subject matter, you can go live

Speaker:

anytime this week on that topic.

Speaker:

That's number one.

Speaker:

Number two, anytime that you want to practice something you are learning.

Speaker:

So if on these Tuesday trainings you are learning how to do something

Speaker:

and you wanna go live and you wanna practice, great, do it.

Speaker:

If you're just practicing anything that we've learned in at any point in time,

Speaker:

like I wanna practice my hook, I'm just practicing my story, you can go live

Speaker:

anytime you want, as long as you either say, Hey, I'm practicing in your video.

Speaker:

Or in the description with your video, you say, I'm practicing my hook.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So as long as it's practice, you can go live again.

Speaker:

And then the last time, the third thing or the third thing,

Speaker:

that's a very technical term.

Speaker:

The third thing, um, is on Wednesdays.

Speaker:

So every Wednesday we welcome new members into this group.

Speaker:

Don't worry.

Speaker:

Those of you that have joined over the challenge, you're gonna get a big welcome.

Speaker:

Um, this Wednesday's gonna be a long list.

Speaker:

Um, you can go live on Wednesday and introduce yourself.

Speaker:

So it's a great opportunity for you to say, here's who I am and what

Speaker:

I do, and go live and share that.

Speaker:

And anyone can go live on Wednesday and do that.

Speaker:

Anyone?

Speaker:

'cause you're introducing yourself to the new members in the group.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

If you are not ready to go live, it's okay.

Speaker:

You can comment on that.

Speaker:

Welcome Wednesday post and share who you are there.

Speaker:

Um, oh.

Speaker:

And I always encourage everybody who, who is new, or anybody who hasn't done

Speaker:

it yet, do an intro post with just your picture and tell us who you are.

Speaker:

But that is Wednesdays only.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Let me just check and make sure there's, and no comments on that.

Speaker:

If you guys have questions as I go, let me know.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

No questions.

Speaker:

Um, alright, so let's talk about this week's topic prompt.

Speaker:

So it went up yesterday.

Speaker:

Those will be pinned, featured, pinned, so you can always find them.

Speaker:

Um, today's topic prompt is how do you simplify life?

Speaker:

This is simplify your life week.

Speaker:

I like crazy holidays, by the way, if you didn't know that.

Speaker:

Um, and so how do you simplify life?

Speaker:

That is your topic prompt.

Speaker:

So as long as you use that somewhere in your video, sometime

Speaker:

this week, you're good to go.

Speaker:

Alright, so those are the three rules around videos.

Speaker:

Um, all right.

Speaker:

Thanks Jamie.

Speaker:

Jamie likes it, likes the rules.

Speaker:

Awesome.

Speaker:

Um, all right, now let's talk about posting.

Speaker:

'cause I know, uh, a number of you, um, Have asked me recently, is it

Speaker:

okay if I post this or, um, you'll, you'll actually message me something

Speaker:

fun and I'll say, Ooh, post that in the group, and you'll answer back and

Speaker:

go, can I, can I post in the group?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Yes, you can post in the group.

Speaker:

Um, as long as it's relevant.

Speaker:

Or inspirational or funny, those are the rules, right?

Speaker:

If it's relevant, meaning it somehow ties into video visibility going

Speaker:

live, um, that kind of thing.

Speaker:

Or, or it's a quote that maybe inspires people to do those things

Speaker:

or just inspires people to, um, be the best that they can be.

Speaker:

You can share posts.

Speaker:

You can create your own posts.

Speaker:

As long as it's relevant, you can do it.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Um, here's an example.

Speaker:

Um, I gave this to somebody last week and it was very helpful.

Speaker:

Um, they were a website designer, so bear with that.

Speaker:

'cause I know that doesn't necessarily apply to you, but you might want

Speaker:

to post a question like, you know, the color block with the question.

Speaker:

And, and, and it might be, do you have a website that is not relevant, not

Speaker:

relevant to what we do inside this group.

Speaker:

This group is all about going live, doing video, getting better on video,

Speaker:

dealing with your confidence, overcoming nerves, that kind of stuff, right?

Speaker:

Okay, so how could you change that color block post to make it relevant to video?

Speaker:

Anybody got a guess?

Speaker:

I'm watching the comments here.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Nothing's coming in.

Speaker:

I know there could be a delay, so I'll give it, I'll give you this first and

Speaker:

we'll then we'll do another example.

Speaker:

Do you use video on your website, or how important is video on your website?

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

It's still connected to you and what you do, but you're making it relevant to the

Speaker:

reason these people are in this group.

Speaker:

Does that help?

Speaker:

I hope that's clear.

Speaker:

Let me know if it's not, and you have questions.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Um, so you can always post if you have questions of me or questions of the group.

Speaker:

Um, and, and it, the, the more you all post, the more engagement and

Speaker:

activity there will be overall, and more people will see the posts

Speaker:

that are inside of this group.

Speaker:

So I'm a big fan of that post and share away.

Speaker:

Um, I'll also tell you this 'cause I know this always comes up.

Speaker:

Well, if I do it wrong or I make a mistake or I share the wrong thing,

Speaker:

are you gonna like kick me out?

Speaker:

No, I'm not gonna kick you out.

Speaker:

I'll probably delete the post.

Speaker:

And then I'm gonna message you and say, Hey, here's how you might

Speaker:

do that, different or better, or tie it in, post it again.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I don't wanna enforce the, I have to approve every course before it goes out.

Speaker:

'cause I don't have time for that.

Speaker:

Nobody has time for that.

Speaker:

Um, so I'm gonna trust that you guys will follow these rules and if you got

Speaker:

questions, always ask, just message me and go, Hey, I'm thinking about doing this.

Speaker:

Is that okay?

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I got, I've got my notes in front of me and I've got two tags here that I

Speaker:

added at the last minute, and they're covering the comments, which is so fun.

Speaker:

I keep moving my stuff around.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Um, next thing I wanted to talk about is like the theme posts.

Speaker:

Like what can I expect every day in terms of posts that I can engage in?

Speaker:

So every day there is, Like a topic prompt or a, that's not the right word.

Speaker:

'cause I use that somewhere else.

Speaker:

Um, I'm gonna post every day at the same time every day.

Speaker:

And you can, um, you can, I'm just gonna run through the list.

Speaker:

How about that?

Speaker:

Okay, so Sunday, I need a calendar.

Speaker:

I need something visual.

Speaker:

I feel like I need to hold something up.

Speaker:

Um, I'm, by the way, all of these rules, the rules, I'm going live, the rules

Speaker:

I'm posting, uh, on and all of that.

Speaker:

They're in the rules of this group, so you can always find them there.

Speaker:

But I'm also gonna create two graphics and I'll pin those in inside the group.

Speaker:

So, 'cause you won't remember all of this, nobody remembers all this.

Speaker:

You're all in multiple groups.

Speaker:

So just know that that will happen.

Speaker:

I'll make it a little bit easier, okay?

Speaker:

Because doing 1, 2, 3, through the week, I'm gonna get to

Speaker:

seven and that gets confusing.

Speaker:

I should have done post-its with the days of the week.

Speaker:

Alright.

Speaker:

Too late.

Speaker:

Always good ideas after the fact.

Speaker:

Am I right?

Speaker:

Alright, so Sunday.

Speaker:

Sunday is goal setting, so there will always be a post on Sunday

Speaker:

About what goals do you set for yourself around video for the week.

Speaker:

Monday is when you'll get the topic prompt for the week Tuesday.

Speaker:

Is when we go live.

Speaker:

This is training day.

Speaker:

Tuesday is training day, same time, same place, but probably the

Speaker:

only post that you're gonna see on Tuesday is a reminder of that.

Speaker:

Okay, Wednesday is welcome.

Speaker:

Wednesday.

Speaker:

This is the chance to meet new people.

Speaker:

Welcome yourself.

Speaker:

Introduce yourself.

Speaker:

I already talked about that.

Speaker:

Thursday is improv.

Speaker:

This is a fun one.

Speaker:

So oftentimes people will say, um, how do I, I'm just not good at coming

Speaker:

up with how do I tie or come up with a story that ties into my business?

Speaker:

Practicing improv helps you develop that muscle.

Speaker:

Don't laugh at my muscles.

Speaker:

It, it's a skill that you have to learn.

Speaker:

And so every Thursday you're gonna get an improv and it's usually something silly.

Speaker:

It's like, alright, tie scissors into your business.

Speaker:

Oh, I might use that this week.

Speaker:

Should we use that one?

Speaker:

Let's use that one.

Speaker:

So your job is not to go live, not to do a video, but just comment

Speaker:

below and exercise that muscle.

Speaker:

And how do I turn, how do I connect this random item into my business?

Speaker:

I'm not even gonna help you with this one because you're

Speaker:

gonna have to think about it.

Speaker:

But, um, last, what, there was one, a couple weeks ago, we did

Speaker:

glitter pens, which I'm, I'm obsessed with glitter pens lately.

Speaker:

Um, and so a lot of people had some really awesome things about sparkling

Speaker:

and shine and, and tying those things in.

Speaker:

It is a muscle you have to develop.

Speaker:

So we do that every Thursday.

Speaker:

Friday is follow.

Speaker:

Friday.

Speaker:

This is an opportunity to post lakes.

Speaker:

Every Friday it's a different one.

Speaker:

I can't, I think this Friday is LinkedIn.

Speaker:

Um, I can't remember off the top of my head, but drop your LinkedIn and

Speaker:

follow other people on LinkedIn.

Speaker:

And every Friday we do a different, one different platform if you'll.

Speaker:

And then Saturday will be your wins for the week.

Speaker:

So Sunday is goal, Saturday is wins.

Speaker:

Okay, so that is the week in review in terms of posts.

Speaker:

Um, also for those of you that are new every Tuesday and

Speaker:

Thursday at 12 Central, I go live.

Speaker:

Um, Tuesday is training.

Speaker:

Thursday we obliterate obstacles.

Speaker:

So when you joined this group, you shared a video challenge.

Speaker:

I draw one, we solve it live on air.

Speaker:

It's all about getting rid of the things that are getting in your way.

Speaker:

Okay, so that's Thursday.

Speaker:

Every other Friday there is a guest expert that comes in and it's interview style and

Speaker:

it is a way to grow your business beyond just what we talk about most of the time.

Speaker:

Most of the time in here we're talking about videos and the beyond.

Speaker:

The camera is other things beyond video, thus the name beyond the camera.

Speaker:

Pretty cool.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

I love doing that show.

Speaker:

It's super fun.

Speaker:

Okay, one last thing and then, then I'm gonna pause and look at your comments.

Speaker:

Um, the, the wonderfully talented Sandy Bartlett is an expert in this group.

Speaker:

And once a month she does a live training as well.

Speaker:

Usually it's on something around, um, uh, confidence, um, or self-discovery.

Speaker:

'cause that is her space.

Speaker:

And it fits so nicely with what we do here because so many of you, um,

Speaker:

are wanting to build your confidence.

Speaker:

So watch for more from Sandy.

Speaker:

Um, Sandy and I are gonna do a joint live in August and we'll talk more about her

Speaker:

role and what you can expect from her, but I wanted you to know, 'cause you'll see

Speaker:

that from time to time and you might be like, who the heck is this expert, Sandy?

Speaker:

That's it.

Speaker:

Um, and before you ask me, 'cause I know this is coming, how do I

Speaker:

get to be an expert in this group?

Speaker:

Um, here's what I'll say.

Speaker:

Right now, Sandy and I are kind of like, she's the Guinea pig and we

Speaker:

just had a call this morning about what else can we do and how does

Speaker:

this work and should we do this?

Speaker:

And so let us figure this out first and let's get, let, let

Speaker:

Sandy and I figure out the process.

Speaker:

But yes, I very much expect that there will be other opportunities for

Speaker:

those of you that have related and connecting businesses to be an expert.

Speaker:

Now if that just like crashed your goals 'cause you're

Speaker:

like, dang it, that's not me.

Speaker:

Um, I am gonna also have opportunities for moderators in this group.

Speaker:

And it's not just the boring moderators where they like approve and stuff,

Speaker:

but actually being a coach moderator in an upcoming go live challenge.

Speaker:

So if that's something of interest to you, Just let me know that you're

Speaker:

interested and we'll talk more about it.

Speaker:

I'm still figuring out the details, but just know that that's coming because we

Speaker:

had 108 people join the Go Live Challenge last week, and every time we do it, it

Speaker:

just gets bigger and bigger and bigger.

Speaker:

And that's a lot of thanks to you all for helping me promote that.

Speaker:

Um, but it's getting to the point where I'm not gonna be able to do it by myself.

Speaker:

So we're bringing on some coaches to do it.

Speaker:

It's super fun.

Speaker:

Okay, let me see what you got for comments here.

Speaker:

Um, alright.

Speaker:

Ever.

Speaker:

The positive, Jamie, I can't help it.

Speaker:

Um, it's just in my d n a.

Speaker:

It drives my husband crazy.

Speaker:

He says, I'm always rainbows and sunshine, but you know what?

Speaker:

That's how I am.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

You guys like the improv.

Speaker:

It's super fun.

Speaker:

I like it too.

Speaker:

I'm always blown away by what you guys come up with.

Speaker:

It's awesome.

Speaker:

Um, Patty likes the review.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Um, okay.

Speaker:

It is totally cool.

Speaker:

It expands my mind.

Speaker:

I'm guessing you're talking about the improv.

Speaker:

I'm guessing I could be wrong there, but I don't know.

Speaker:

Um, Patty says, I have great guess.

Speaker:

I do have great guests.

Speaker:

It's usually good discussion.

Speaker:

Um, what do I need to join the group, the membership group.

Speaker:

Oh, thanks Patty.

Speaker:

Thanks Patty.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Um, the Go Live League is the monthly membership group.

Speaker:

It is separate from this Facebook group.

Speaker:

It's not a separate Facebook group.

Speaker:

It is a, think of it like a v i p upgrade to everything.

Speaker:

Um, it is, this is the last month that you can try it out

Speaker:

for your first month as a dollar.

Speaker:

In fact, I'm probably going to end that.

Speaker:

I'm looking at my calendar, um, this Friday.

Speaker:

Um, so if you wanna try it for a dollar, come and try it

Speaker:

for a dollar before Friday.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

So what that means is that you pay $1 and you get access for the month,

Speaker:

and then ongoing months, it's $33 a month and you lock in at that price.

Speaker:

So if I raise the price, you still stay at that $33 a month.

Speaker:

So what do you get inside the Go Live League?

Speaker:

Um, You basically get a full course for free right outta the gate.

Speaker:

Everything from Hook story, call to action, which many of you you learned

Speaker:

in the Go Live Challenge, and then everything else in that process.

Speaker:

It's already preloaded.

Speaker:

No drip, no waiting for it.

Speaker:

It's all just there waiting for you.

Speaker:

Then every month we focus on a different aspect of that process.

Speaker:

Um, so many of you learned my Post-it note model, and why am I not able

Speaker:

to find my post-it note model?

Speaker:

Here, hold on.

Speaker:

Do I have it right here?

Speaker:

I do not have it handy 'cause I did not.

Speaker:

Oh yeah.

Speaker:

Here we go.

Speaker:

In last week's challenge, you learned post-it note model, right?

Speaker:

And what you learned was hook story, call to action.

Speaker:

But there's more in there.

Speaker:

So each month we tackle a different piece of that.

Speaker:

And as you learn and you apply, you get better, you get more comfortable,

Speaker:

more confident, you're better.

Speaker:

Your videos are gonna have more flow.

Speaker:

You are going to feel, um, Like a video monster has been unleashed.

Speaker:

So every month we focus on a different piece of that, and

Speaker:

then that's group coaching style.

Speaker:

Um, we all get on a Zoom call and we talk about it.

Speaker:

Uh, and then there's lots of other parts and pieces to this membership.

Speaker:

I'm not gonna go through them all right now because that's not what.

Speaker:

I was planning on doing today, but there are additional calls.

Speaker:

There's one call every week on something.

Speaker:

Um, and it's all about not just getting you better on video, but

Speaker:

helping you grow your business.

Speaker:

So we talk about networking, we talk about business, we

Speaker:

talk about all of those things.

Speaker:

So, okay.

Speaker:

Thanks for asking, Patty.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Um, oh, she just asked will I help with the business?

Speaker:

Yes, Patty, I'll, um, it's, it's so interesting.

Speaker:

Oh, thank you, Jamie.

Speaker:

Um, you guys are the best.

Speaker:

Um, okay.

Speaker:

Patty keeps coming in with the questions.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

The business stuff.

Speaker:

Um, this actually is what I wanted to talk about next, which is what's, what else

Speaker:

is coming inside the Get on camera group?

Speaker:

Um, so I, a, a number of you have said we do the challenge, the Go live

Speaker:

challenge once a quarter, and it's a long time to wait in between challenges.

Speaker:

So we're gonna start doing some mini challenges.

Speaker:

They won't be as, As in depth, there'll be little short fun things that you can do.

Speaker:

Um, we're, I'm gonna try and do one a month, so that gets you some

Speaker:

additional, um, practice opportunities.

Speaker:

So we're actually gonna do one in at the end of August,

Speaker:

so, um, stay tuned for that.

Speaker:

Um, and I'm also gonna start doing workshops, so these

Speaker:

will be a little bit longer.

Speaker:

They will actually be in Zoom rather than on Facebook, but

Speaker:

we'll tackle some other stuff.

Speaker:

So what I found is, um, I did, um, I did a discount in July of 50% off one-on-ones.

Speaker:

And, um, I, I was, I was blown away at how many of those, one-on-ones

Speaker:

that once they actually got scheduled, um, didn't wanna talk necessarily

Speaker:

about video, but wanted to talk about how do I grow my Facebook group?

Speaker:

How do I get more engagement in my Facebook group?

Speaker:

How do I, um, do challenges like you do?

Speaker:

How do I figure out my social media?

Speaker:

How do I tie my video?

Speaker:

And it was, it was more businessy stuff.

Speaker:

I think that's what you're getting at Patty.

Speaker:

Um, so the workshops will be more like that.

Speaker:

Um, I'm gonna, my goal is to try and get one ready for you guys in August,

Speaker:

um, so that you guys can experience it.

Speaker:

Um, and I don't know which one we're gonna do.

Speaker:

I'm probably gonna do a post and let you all vote on which one we should do.

Speaker:

So watch for that as well.

Speaker:

Um, did that answer your question, Patty?

Speaker:

I think it did.

Speaker:

Um, so, um, I am currently working on doing some adjustments to my

Speaker:

group coaching program and to my one-on-one program, not just individual

Speaker:

one-on-ones, but my one-on-one program, um, to pull more of that stuff in.

Speaker:

'cause I think that it, it's, yes, you wanna learn video, but I think

Speaker:

you wanna learn video in context with how do I do my Facebook group

Speaker:

better, or how do I do challenges.

Speaker:

So I'm, I'm playing with some of that More to come, more to come.

Speaker:

Um, okay.

Speaker:

Patty says, yes, I got it.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

And Sherry is excited about the workshops and Sherry loves the membership.

Speaker:

You, I, I love you guys.

Speaker:

You know what you should do.

Speaker:

You know what you should do?

Speaker:

This is to Jamie and to Sherry and I don't know who else is on that's

Speaker:

a part of the Go Live league.

Speaker:

You should go live and talk about the Go Live League and what you love

Speaker:

about it this week while everyone else can join, still join for a dollar.

Speaker:

You should do that.

Speaker:

That would be awesome.

Speaker:

I would love it.

Speaker:

And, and I'll even give you this, if you are an affiliate

Speaker:

for me, use your affiliate link.

Speaker:

Boom.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

Um, and if you're not an affiliate, sign up, just message

Speaker:

me, um, and, uh, use your link.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

Let's see if I'm missing anything else from the comments.

Speaker:

I don't think I've missed anything.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

All.

Speaker:

Are there?

Speaker:

I was just gonna say, are there any questions?

Speaker:

But you guys have been asking questions as as we go.

Speaker:

You love my boom?

Speaker:

Sherry loves my boom.

Speaker:

Who is it?

Speaker:

Is it Emeril?

Speaker:

Is it Emerald that does boom.

Speaker:

The chef?

Speaker:

I think it's Emerald.

Speaker:

Um, I, I haven't watched H T T V or any of that in so long.

Speaker:

I don't, I can't even remember, um, what that is.

Speaker:

Okay, one last thing.

Speaker:

If you guys have questions, type them in comments.

Speaker:

I will stay and answer them.

Speaker:

Um, how am I doing on time?

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I'm okay.

Speaker:

Um, the other thing that comes up every once in a while, um, in this

Speaker:

Facebook group is that I often open up opportunities to beta test some things

Speaker:

with me and to do market research stuff.

Speaker:

Um, so I've got a couple of them.

Speaker:

Oh, Patty's right.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I'll come back to that.

Speaker:

Distracted by the comments.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I need to cover that.

Speaker:

Okay, now everybody's commenting.

Speaker:

You're right.

Speaker:

Emerald does.

Speaker:

Bam.

Speaker:

I know it.

Speaker:

So who does boom?

Speaker:

Is there somebody that does boom or did I just invent, boom.

Speaker:

I don't think I invented.

Speaker:

Boom.

Speaker:

Um, kaboom.

Speaker:

Jamie is the boom.

Speaker:

Okay, now you guys are just having way too much fun.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Where were we?

Speaker:

Total tangent.

Speaker:

Beta opportunities and market research.

Speaker:

So typically before I create a workshop, um, I'm gonna wanna test some trainings

Speaker:

and some messaging and get some of your thoughts and ideas ahead of time.

Speaker:

So what I typically do is, and honestly I have been just offering this to those

Speaker:

that are in the Go Live league, but I can.

Speaker:

Expand it to, um, involve you guys as well, everybody.

Speaker:

Um, and that is if you wanna get on a call with me and help me with market

Speaker:

research or beta tests and stuff, I always create those opportunities for

Speaker:

you too because I learn from the process, it helps me and you t typically either

Speaker:

get it for free or get a discount on it.

Speaker:

And so it's a win-win kind of situation.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

Um, you guys are so fun.

Speaker:

Um, I just love this community so much.

Speaker:

You guys are so.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

I don't see any questions, so let me just do a review and

Speaker:

thank you for wrapping up, Jamie.

Speaker:

Goodness sakes.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Um, so what we have covered today are kind of the what can you expect?

Speaker:

What are all of the things that are going on?

Speaker:

In this group.

Speaker:

Um, so when can you go live?

Speaker:

How often can you go live?

Speaker:

What are the rules around that?

Speaker:

Can I post?

Speaker:

What are the rules around that?

Speaker:

Um, and, and what can you expect in terms of posts and things to connect with?

Speaker:

So hopefully this has been valuable.

Speaker:

I will likely pin this video 'cause I think it'd be helpful for everybody.

Speaker:

Um, my question for you.

Speaker:

No, I'm gonna wait.

Speaker:

I'm gonna hold it.

Speaker:

I'm gonna hold it 'cause I see more stuff coming in.

Speaker:

What other questions do you have before I wrap us up today?

Speaker:

Um, Sherry wants to meet Wanda.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Let's see if she works.

Speaker:

Let's see if she works.

Speaker:

Um, this actually, uh, Sherry probably does wanna meet Wanda

Speaker:

because Sherry actually sent me Wanda.

Speaker:

So for, um, many, many, I don't even know when it was.

Speaker:

How long ago it was, um, I shared one of the things that you can do to shake

Speaker:

off the nerves is to kind of go like those, those things outside of car

Speaker:

dealerships and just let all of that go.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

You know, the car, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker:

And so Sherry loved it so much.

Speaker:

She sent me this book, um, about the little guys.

Speaker:

They're called wacky waving inflatable tube guy.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And she sent me, A wacky tube guy, but Ro, he was broken, so I had to exchange him.

Speaker:

And so when I was exchanging him, I found Wanda.

Speaker:

That's her name actually, that's not her name.

Speaker:

She has another name.

Speaker:

But Sherry and I decided that Wanda's horrible or that,

Speaker:

that her name was horrible.

Speaker:

Let's see, what is it?

Speaker:

What was it?

Speaker:

Do you remember what her name was?

Speaker:

Sherry.

Speaker:

What did I tell you her name was?

Speaker:

It was something ridiculous.

Speaker:

Here.

Speaker:

Hold on.

Speaker:

Maybe it's, there used to be a little book.

Speaker:

I've lost her book.

Speaker:

Oh no.

Speaker:

Anyway, we came up with Wanda, so let's see if she works.

Speaker:

Hold on.

Speaker:

Here we go.

Speaker:

Oh goodness.

Speaker:

There we go.

Speaker:

There we go.

Speaker:

No, Gertrude Patty.

Speaker:

Gertrude is the inner voice in my head.

Speaker:

This is Wanda.

Speaker:

Wanda is reminding you to shake off that adrenaline you get when you're

Speaker:

nervous, but Wanda needs serious help.

Speaker:

There's a serious engineering flaw with this guy.

Speaker:

It does not work.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So that's Wanda.

Speaker:

But um, my plan is this little book is so fun about, it's all about flailing

Speaker:

at life and there's little lessons.

Speaker:

So I'm gonna use it and we're gonna go live and we're gonna

Speaker:

talk about each of these.

Speaker:

So it'd be something fun.

Speaker:

I just haven't made time to do it.

Speaker:

That's Wanda guys are crazy.

Speaker:

Wanda does need confidence, for sure.

Speaker:

She needs something that's for darn sure.

Speaker:

Um, okay.

Speaker:

Uh, You guys, I could just hang out here with you forever.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I don't see any more questions.

Speaker:

So here, let me say this in closing your call to action today.

Speaker:

Um, is to really think about what you are going to do different

Speaker:

inside this get on camera group now that the challenge is over.

Speaker:

Um, it's also a perfect time, even if you didn't do the challenge to reengage.

Speaker:

Which of all of these parts and pieces are you going to take advantage of?

Speaker:

Are you gonna go live?

Speaker:

Are you gonna start posting?

Speaker:

Are you going to, um, take advantage of the, the weekly, um, you know,

Speaker:

Calendar of everything that's in there.

Speaker:

Are you gonna join the Go Live league?

Speaker:

Um, for dollar?

Speaker:

Um, whatcha gonna do?

Speaker:

So drop me a comment and share what of everything that I've talked about.

Speaker:

Are you going to do different inside this?

Speaker:

Get on camera group.

Speaker:

Can't wait to see what you, I can't, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Speaker:

Um, and, and let me just say this kind of in closing.

Speaker:

I, I want this get on camera group.

Speaker:

I'm very particular about who I let into this community.

Speaker:

Um, I wanna make sure that it is, A place where you feel safe, where you feel like

Speaker:

you can practice, where you feel like you're not going to get, um, pounced on.

Speaker:

Um, and if you are pounced on and somebody's, you know, cold DMing you

Speaker:

about their stuff and it's inside this group, I need you to let me know

Speaker:

because I, I take that very seriously.

Speaker:

That's not what we are about.

Speaker:

This is not one of those promote groups, though.

Speaker:

There are lots of those promote groups out there.

Speaker:

And if you need help finding those groups, we can talk.

Speaker:

This is supposed to be a learning, um, fun, uh, focused on growing our business

Speaker:

and, and helping support one another.

Speaker:

Not pitching your stuff.

Speaker:

There are opportunities to pitch your stuff 'cause you need to

Speaker:

practice that, but that's not what this group is all about.

Speaker:

So I want you to feel like you contribute to that.

Speaker:

So if you have ideas or suggestions or you know, like Sherry's idea about this.

Speaker:

This is a great idea.

Speaker:

This is gonna be a huge hit.

Speaker:

You guys are gonna love doing this.

Speaker:

Anything like this that you guys have, I wanna know if you've got ideas on

Speaker:

a workshop or you're like, Hey, can we, can you teach us X, Y, and Z?

Speaker:

All you gotta do is ask, and I'll put it on the rotation.

Speaker:

I want you to feel like this is your safe space that you wanna come and hang out in.

Speaker:

That's what I want.

Speaker:

I hope that you feel that way.

Speaker:

Um, I just wanna to say thank you to everybody who participated in

Speaker:

the Go Live Challenge in whatever way that you participated.

Speaker:

Even if you just watched a couple of videos and maybe you never went

Speaker:

live once, maybe you went live all five times, maybe you're still

Speaker:

working on all five of your videos.

Speaker:

Thank you for, for doing this with me.

Speaker:

Thank you for being here.

Speaker:

Um, and, and thank you in advance for continuing to be an active

Speaker:

member in this Get on camera group.

Speaker:

I think you guys are fantastic.

Speaker:

I, I love getting to know you and I feel very connected to you through

Speaker:

your videos, so I cannot wait to see where this takes us, um, in our

Speaker:

journey together to get you not just on camera, but to be better on camera.

Speaker:

All right, everybody.

Speaker:

Thank you for being here.

Speaker:

Talk to you soon.

Speaker:

Bye guys.
