Typically, and more often than women, men in business push down their emotions. However, when I was 10 my father said to me, “Emotions do not belong in the board room.” So, off I went … pushing my emotions down. At the age of 31, I finally erupted and ended up bankrupt and depressed.

How did your parents’ beliefs systems really affect you day to day?
