Speaker:Hello there, Modern Man. I'm Dr Anne Truong. I've treated over
Speaker:7000 men with ED. This is the single most frustrating moment
Speaker:in the bedroom. You start strong, but halfway through it
Speaker:fade. If you're losing your erection during sex, you are not
Speaker:broken, and it may not even be your age. Research shows that
Speaker:half of men experience this. It's often caused by something
Speaker:called venous leak. Basically, the blood is leaving the manhood
Speaker:faster than it's arriving. So today we're fixing the leak with
Speaker:eight specific changes. Take some notes, and three of them
Speaker:may work tonight for you. But some of them may take some time.
Speaker:Let's start right now with the right now fix this and easy
Speaker:wins.
Speaker:Number one, the alcohol trap. Mistake number one is the liquid
Speaker:courage. You think a few drinks may relax you, but alcohol it a
Speaker:nerve depressant. So it kind of numb your nerve, so it disrupt
Speaker:the signal between your brain and your body and your manhood.
Speaker:So one drink is fine. Two to three drinks, it may affect
Speaker:that. So on date night, maybe one drink and moderate the
Speaker:alcohol. Okay? So keep that in mind.
Speaker:Number two, the disconnection error is that it is stopping
Speaker:stimulation. Meaning once penetration start, many men stop
Speaker:the manual stimulation or stop mentally engaging in the mental
Speaker:stimulation. Maybe you're distracted. You're thinking
Speaker:about work, you're thinking about what you're doing
Speaker:tomorrow, or you're thinking about the past occurrence that
Speaker:does happen. Your body needs constant input to maintain the
Speaker:stimulation and the blood flow. So the fix is stay present in
Speaker:the moment. If you feel that your erection is fading, pause
Speaker:the penetration and go back to manual stimulation immediately.

Speaker:Tip number three, the gravity problem or position. Some
Speaker:positions are just not that great when you're older. So if
Speaker:you're over 50, and you're holding a position that is man
Speaker:on top and woman on the bottom, which is called missionary, this
Speaker:drain the blood from where it needs to be to your arms and
Speaker:your leg. And so your heart rate spikes, and then it may steal
Speaker:away the blood from your manhood. So switch to position
Speaker:like spooning, which is side to side, or woman on top, and let
Speaker:gravity do the work for you, not against you.
Speaker:So the next one, number four, is the mental game. This is the big
Speaker:one. You lose it once, so you worry about it, losing again
Speaker:next time. And then the worry releases the stress hormone
Speaker:called adrenaline, which then constrict your blood vessel,
Speaker:which is the last thing you want, right? It's a self
Speaker:fulfilling prophecy. You think about it, and you worry about
Speaker:it, and then you get worse. Fix it. How you fix it is reframe
Speaker:it. So tell your partner that you're kind of working on
Speaker:circulation stuff and you're going through it. So taking the
Speaker:secret out of the room, kill the anxiety. But anxiety will kill
Speaker:your erection on the spot.
Speaker:The next one, number five is the physical foundation, which is
Speaker:the engine, so the plumbing check. Medication, some
Speaker:medication will actually affect your erection, like blood
Speaker:pressure medicine, especially those at a group called the beta
Speaker:blockers. And then medications such as anti depressant like the
Speaker:SSRIs and antihistamines are notorious for killing erection.
Speaker:But before you stop these medications, talk with your
Speaker:doctor first. Do not stop taking them right away, but just know
Speaker:that they may have some sexual side effects, and then you may
Speaker:want to talk with your doctor about switching to some other
Speaker:medication that will have less side effects as well.
Speaker:Number six, the muscle failure, or the pelvic muscle. Your
Speaker:erection is held in place by the pelvic muscle, which that that
Speaker:go, wrap around the base of your penis, and is keep the blood in
Speaker:there. So the fix is doing Kegel, which are exercises where
Speaker:you strengthen the muscle, the pelvic muscle. Check out the

Speaker:muscles are the same muscles that start and stop your urine
Speaker:stream. Those muscles are the same muscles that actually
Speaker:contract when you have an orgasm. So how do you want to
Speaker:exercise this is that you want to hold those muscles for five
Speaker:seconds and release for five, and you want to do it about 20
Speaker:times, about two to three times a day. Check out this video, and

Speaker:you're driving. You can do this while your computer or watching
Speaker:TV.
Speaker:Okay, modern man. If you're struggling with weak erection,
Speaker:low energy, the food you eat could be the big part of the
Speaker:problem. One of the best research pathways to boost
Speaker:circulation, support healthy testosterone and improve sexual

Speaker:open up your blood vessel, lower inflammation, and fuel your

Speaker:blood vessel will improve. Combine that with walking 30
Speaker:minutes four times a week, then add in nitric oxide to that as

Speaker:also destroy blood flow as well. So you want to control your
Speaker:blood pressure by exercise. How do you control your blood sugar?
Speaker:Is to follow the Mediterranean diet. So if you follow the

Speaker:lower your blood pressure. And you really want to aim for a
Speaker:hemoglobin A1C below seven. And you also want to make sure that
Speaker:you are in range for your weight. And even just losing 10%
Speaker:of your weight can massively restore erection for you.
Speaker:Studies have shown that if you exercise 30 minutes four times a
Speaker:week, then it will actually will help with your erection. Then
Speaker:combine that with the Mediterranean diet, you got
Speaker:double acceleration there.
Speaker:So the action plans, here's your timeline. Tonight, watch the
Speaker:booze, minimize it. Be in better position spooning or woman on
Speaker:top, and have an open communication. Kill the anxiety.
Speaker:Tomorrow start your Kegel exercises and daily walking. So
Speaker:and then this week, review medication with your doctor.
