🌊 What if you could find hidden water, lost objects, and invisible energy fields… with just a bent piece of wire?

In this episode of the Crystal Water Experience Podcast, I'm joined by the remarkable Shaun Holbrow — a man whose journey into the ancient art of dowsing started by accident on a quarry road… and completely changed his life.

Shaun is next-level when it comes to dowsing. We're talking finding buried water pipes with zero technology, locating lost objects in your own home, detecting earth energy vortexes in stone circles and churchyards, and even clearing negative energy from houses that have been making people miserable for years.

This is one of those conversations that will make you question everything you think you know about the world beneath your feet.

Whether you're a complete sceptic or you've always been curious about the unseen forces around us — this episode will blow your mind.

About Shaun

As an Independent researcher & dowser, I spend a lot of my time following ley lines and earth energies around Britain's vast selection of ancient sites. I'm absolutely fascinated as to how and why these energies, waters and alignments work, and their effects on us a humans. The whole subject is a blend of part science and part religion. Embarking on my quest, I have gained an awful amount of experience through methods of dowsing, to the extent where I offer geopathic stress and healing services around the home, as well as comprehensive mentorship in the fundamentals of dowsing.

The amazing thing about my story is the craft found me one summers afternoon, stirring an old memory perhaps from a lifetime or two ago, and in doing so, it has completely changed my understanding and outlook on humanities very existence

'cause we use them ourselves in our work and we teach it. But Shaun is next level and the aim of this talk today guys, is to talk about this almost lost art. And bring it to your attention because it has a bit of a bad press 'cause. Basically the controlling powers that be don't want you to know about what it can do, and Shaun is gonna impart his knowledge and we hope at the end of this to encourage more of you to look into this very powerful very interesting technique.

ing us your knowledge today. [:

And this is a technique, doubting obviously there's many female doubters, but I love the fact there's a lot of men involved. 'cause in certain parts of I, I call it the quantum. Quantum Collective, which some people might call spirituality to call it like the quantum side of things.

Sometimes there's a lot more women than men, but Dowson is definitely a place because there's lots of tools and gadgets and all different things. It's very technical that we can get the men involved. And you have just done a, you just explained it so beautifully. It explains many stuff, many things that we just didn't know about, and it was.

ved in Dowsing? That's a, it [:

But that was my, really, my earliest memory. But the pivotal point where it totally changed was we were, I, we used to work on a quarry and we had to do some repairs to the main hall road. Now the only thing with the hall road is this main water pipe ran right underneath it. So we had to locate where this water pipe was.

So we got the electrician with this big technical box that fires waves into the ground called a cat scanner. And he was walking up and down the whole road and this thing was beeping, left and center. And we'd basically digging holes to not much success really. And I just happen to say why don't we try dowsing?

It's what the farmers all [:

Found this point where they looked, they just swung in and crossed, carried on walking forward until they were dead parallel of each other. And I said let's dig here. So we spray painted the area, went and got the shovels, and sure enough, we dug down, must have been about four inches, and we hit the top of this water pipe.

ght, this YouTube video came [:

It's an 11th century pub. And it's allegedly the most haunted building in the uk. We've all heard that before, but anyway. The, at the introduction of this guy says about how this pub is built on the cross of two lay lines. And it was like this memory had just stirred in the back of my head.

I, I had nothing to do with lay lines. I wouldn't even know what they were at this stage. But it just totally piqued my interest. And then. Going forward. I thought that sounds so interesting. What's a lay line? Why does it cause this paranormal activity and whatnot? And I started to do a bit of research and found out there was a stone circle not far from where I lived, where these lay lines run through.

oh, I'm gonna go and have an [:

I entered that stone circle and really that was the moment where I was set on this path of understanding how earth energies work, what causes the reaction with the human body. And it just opened up this quest that I'm four years in with no signs of slowing up. Really. There's just more and more things just coming in thick and fast.

an amazing skill to behold. [:

They looked at me like I performed black magic. Honestly, you should have seen them like Burley Quarrymen. My hackles went up on my neck and they were just like, what did you do? Yeah, there's no way we did anyway, we were practicing and sure enough, these rods were swinging over this pipe, yeah, it was quite an amusing afternoon. That's brilliant. And so from your experience, do you think it darton is something that you can teach people or do you just think you have to be some way inclined? You've got to want to do it? I think that's the most important thing, but there's no real secret to it because everybody has the ability to doubt, I'd say 80% of the population.

just to keep that open mind [:

Okay. And these negative ions they rise up out of the ground, millions and millions of particles. They float up through the air, and as they go up through the air, they collect particles of pollen, dust, pollution, they become heavier and fall down. And you get what, kinda like a purified area around water.

But our bodies, our water in our bodies react to these fields. From what I can understand, causing these twitches in your muscles that cause these dowsing rods to to move in. This kind of brings you into the realms of kinesiology and practices like that. Yeah, me and Carl, obviously we teach a form of biofield dowsing and yes.

[:

Exactly. Yeah. An open mind and some notion about what you are looking for. That's it. You need to have a clear image in your head, what you're looking for, and you can't have the distraction. It's weird when you, when I'm when I'm practicing the art, my mind's totally blank. I'm not thinking about I don't know the worries of work.

a chap from Ridge University [:

There's two, two type fours, the El and Belinas line. I'll go into that kind of thing in a minute. But as I was approaching the Ellen Energy line, you just get this feeling through your body and then. The rods will begin to move. So I can't describe the feeling. It's just, if it's ever so bizarre.

It's ever so bizarre. And you teach this as well don't you teach people how to does. And so with that, how do you go about doing that? What's your method? The first thing really is to get people in tune with the tools. So I take people through the different tools that we use.

y're in a sleeve, so they're [:

A lot of people like to use that. I think it takes the human elements away from it when it doesn't as such, it just feels like they're not not as much in contact with the rod. I think a misconception is that people think these are magic, but lemme tell you, that's just a piece of six mill still.

There's nothing magic about it. The magic is it's within your body. Like I said, the first thing is taking people through. Getting familiar with tools we look at pendulums as well. Another device is a Egyptian pendulums. This is a specific type of pendulum I like to use rather heavy.

side motion, or it could be [:

You never know how it's gonna react with different people. But once you've found that, then that's your. They're your responses to those questions, to those basic questions, then we go down the protection route. Ultimately there's some energies out there, but we don't know what they are. I've had a couple of occasions that they are very rare.

[:

Initially I thought it was like a radiation burn, but that wouldn't clear up that quickly as such. So it's we don't, there's some stuff out there that we don't know what it is. So I teach people the permissions and protections of dowsing, which are simply five questions. It's, may I, DAS, can I, DAS?

Should I, DAS? Can I have protection please? And importantly, am I in balance today? We've got to be in balance for starters. It's, if you've got a lot going on in your head, like you've just driven a long car journey, et cetera, you're gonna find you're quite unsettled. It's like a meditation.

's wildlife around the site. [:

The simple thing is don't doubt you're not putting yourself at risk. Scaring any wildlife. As such, you're just respecting the craft. And I think it's something we should all bear in mind, especially if you're dealing with people's houses as well. It's the last thing you wanna do is upset a balance in someone's house.

So after that, we apply, we, so I get people to ask these questions on a course. I do this sort of for everybody. So that we, we can crack on and with the day and have fun basically. 'cause that's what it's all about. And then I start going into applications of dowsing. So looking for things through directional dowsing.

the, I don't know, let's say [:

It will swing. Sorry, it's a bit weighted there, but what we'll find is that these, we can pick certain certain objects up and it gets us used to just as owning out and thinking about these, the object that we are looking for. If you can't, if you've got a busy mind. It's very difficult to focus in on these sort of things.

Then we look at tracking. So this is quite a good exercise. You lay a piece of string out on the floor and use the dowsing rod to track the piece of string. You'll find it weaves with the piece of string. And it, it starts to really get people thinking, how is this doing this?

oh, I'm just not doing that. [:

We we, we go through and then eventually we move on to looking for water and earth energies and applying the skillset out in the field. Because there's nothing like experience, right? We can explain it now. We can show people and they can say whatever it is that they want to say until people start applying it.

It's it, you have to have experience. That's what we call crystal water experience, right? If someone would tell you this, you'd say. It doesn't sound right 'cause we're not taught about this in books either, are we? And we'd probably talk quite the opposite, but when you've had a, an epiphany like you did with the road, it's very difficult to set because if something, it's repeatable, it's measurable.

And the same place is on the [:

So it really get our own confidence. I was gonna ask you what is. I in some of the groups that you've done, have you got any standout experiences from people who came with an open mind but actually ended up finding something and is smitten now because of their experience? Yeah in November I ran a course out in out Nottingham Shear way.

And this lady came along and we were dosing this spring in the middle of this field. So we'd found the spring and we were looking at dowsing, the fishes that come outta the spring, so underground streams that emanate away from that area. And all of a sudden one of the ladies in the fields found this oh, found her dowsing.

ually found was like a small [:

That's amazing. And when you hold them, you can feel it. You can act, you can feel that the rods are doing something out of your control. And it's really nice to learn in a group because then you when you pick up the same things as other people and you say, look, can I check this?

t because you know what that [:

Right? Absolutely. If you've got time to spend a day, maybe two days just keep practicing. First sometimes, the dowsing rods have a very limited reaction especially when it came, comes to question dowsing. Yeah. Started personally getting involved in that side of things. It was like there was just no reaction on the dowsing rod.

And then all of a sudden you start thinking about the question you're asking and just practicing. Think of, show me. Yes. Think of a big green tick, for example. And lo and behold. The rod will move, the rod will just gently coast around on itself. What helps me is I use a flat handle on my dowsing rods.

hat's happening at the other [:

And I use the sheath ones and I've, I haven't been doing it very much because Kelly has, and Kelly does it live on stage with all the energies, all in pressure and everything, and she's just very good at focusing her attention. But I've realized, because I did some of the the other day that I am really quite out of practice, although I could do it, but I cut my teeth in this.

wind, in the rain, in the on [:

It makes me much more confident. Like even though I wasn't very good when I picked it up, my not very good at what I look for anyway is, it still really works. But I was just like, oh the rods were like, oh, slow to react where Kelly's just go bump straight away. Just like that.

Yeah. It's one of them. Like I say, every, everybody can doubts and really. It depends on how much practice you put in. It depends entirely on how good you are. If you're spending your time practice, then you're gonna be a fantastic doer. If it's something you pick up for five minutes and then put down again, you'll probably find that you'll struggle to progress with it.

ecome. A lot more prominent. [:

'cause people are thinking what am I gonna dowse for two or three times a week? Now I admittedly probably lose my keys at least three times a week. So Shaun, talk to us about how you can use dowsing to find things. So that goes to directional dowsing. If I've lost my car keys you'd sit there and you'd think, firstly, you would get an image of your keys in your head.

n as to where those keys are.[:

Let's say for argument's sake, you can practice this at home, get someone in your living room you leave the living room, get someone to hide your keys under a pillow or something like that out the way. Come in and practice. Show me where my keys are, and you'll find that dowsing rod will move around to that position where those keys are.

But you've got to think about the object that's really the key for it because you, when you're looking for something, you're accessing the higher information field, so you're going beyond our five senses at that point. So it's important that you are focused on the object. You're not worrying that they're lost.

d it repels. Yeah. This will [:

Because what we find, when we teach in, I dunno about you, but people, because they've got the rods and they're new to the rods, they start thinking about the rods. Instead of the thing that they're looking for. And that's the hardest thing. 'cause they're so busy, is it gonna work? And you're like, hang on, you're not thinking about the thing anymore.

You're thinking about the rods. And that's one to get over. So the first thing I get people to do sorry. After the programming stage on the workshop, I get people to say look at the end of the rod. Focus all your attention on the end of that rod and say, show me a yes response.

Guess what? The rods don't move. And I say if you pick an area on the wall or look off into the distance, shut your eyes, and then think of a yes response. All of a sudden the rods start to swing in on each other as if by magic. It's hard, but don't focus on the rod, basically. Yeah, it's the rod is there just as a visual aid.

That's [:

You'd set rate. Yeah. Let's talk about this. You started talking about this with Kelly and so guys, you can find things. We're trying to think of practical tips. You can find pipes if you, if they're buried somewhere and you don't need to get somebody out with an expensive machine. This is practical stuff.

I'm trying to encourage you to do it. But you can find, can you find gold with it? Shaun? You can. Yeah. So I'll do a demonstration. I'm not gonna, I don't have any goals, so I won't be able to use that. But what you would do, we'll use this pendulum here. What type of pen is that one called? So this is called an ISIS pendulum.

So this was found in [:

I'm just gonna hold that. I wonder if I could just tilt the camera forward. Yep. Perfect. So all I'm gonna do is just hold this pendulum over the brass. I'm gonna start to slowly lengthen the cord. Until I notice there's a spin on the pendulum.

ng. You have to concentrate. [:

Yeah, so for those of you who are listening on the podcast, Shaun has a brass pendulum on the table in front of him. He's got his ISIS pendulum over the top, and he is just letting out that cord slowly but surely until it's running it through his fingers. And then now it's it's moving in. Is that clockwise?

It's hard to see. It is, yeah. So at the moment, spinning clockwise. So it can either go anti-clockwise or clockwise. Yeah. The length of that string is the rate of brass. So we mark that on a piece of paper. So you'd use the edge of the piece of paper mark, where your pinch is, and you would use that as the frequency of the length of string, sorry.

t's translated to, into that [:

So we are doing this. And then when you come into contact with the brass, so I'm just gonna drift forward slightly and you'll see it's just started to spin just as I come over the field of that brass pendulum and as I move away, sorry, it's a bit awkward on screen, but it's now gone into a back and forth motion as a comeback.

t yourself. You could set up [:

Absolutely. Have, what have you found in the wild that's exciting, Shaun? In the wild, to be honest, I haven't really done any. Metal detecting as such in the wild, predominantly earth energies are my sort of forte. Really we, when I'm out there doubting for earth energies, water seed. Yeah. Something like absolute ecstatic over.

So they can either be formed by water, you get these small water fishes running through the surface of the, of or underneath the surface of our banet. And you'll sometimes find what we call a geos spiral. That's right where they enter a, an aquifer, which is a small body of water beneath the surface.

And then they create [:

But they, when I'm dowsing around churches yards are fantastic places to das by the way. You can identify these areas of subtle energy and you'll find it. If you notice when people come into the church, people are naturally drawn to these spots. And whether or not it's, because there's been a lot of prayer happen there over the years it's almost like a conscious reaction with these vortexes.

these. Energy centers. It's [:

But it does react a simple way of doing it, of explaining it. Have you ever heard of a divorce house? No. So a divorce house is something where you'll see a couple move in. And then after three years, the house reappears on the market and they're split up and it's this vicious cycle. Okay. And then you get, and it happens a lot, it seems to be something to do with the land rather than the yeah.

They leave the next couple, [:

The atmosphere in that home is just icy. It's just not a nice atmosphere. They won't notice it. It probably won't notice it at first, sorry. But they'll find there's a lot of tension within that house. And then the thing happens again. They start arguing. They move out, the next couple move in and it gets into this vicious cycle.

in the horizontal. Magnetic [:

That's the stuff that can cause a lot of osteopathic stress, if you like. So I would go in, have a look for this vortex, find out what it's doing. If it's creating a lot of arguments, chance are, it's probably red electric, for example. I would then look at correcting it. So I'd use the one of the ISIS pendulums.

at needs removing IE spirits [:

And when I say goal, it's something more to do with the atmosphere rather than an actual like a, an entity as such. We'd then look at removing those. We'd look at spirits. We are looking for anything non tethered within. So stuff that moves around, et cetera. And what happens is the pendulum will spin in a certain direction when it's clearing, it will then apply, it will then stop its clearing and apply the charge.

Now the two pendulums I use white energy or white frequency, which is pretty much concoction of every color in the spectrum going. This one is the mi isis, so it's a bit of a hybrid pendulum. It's got the batteries. I mean I've, it's a little bit complicated what I'm going into, but it's got the batteries of the ISIS pendulum and a huge resonator on the front.

[:

Another thing that you can do with a vortex, if you discover it for the first time, walk around the outside with the dowsing rods and see how many times it flicks. And then start saying some nice things to it. Oh, I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but oh, what a wonderful vortex. Thank you for showing yourself today, et cetera.

ese dowsing rods are picking [:

And back in the day, they used to do house blessings and clearings. It was the, it was what with water. And they hardly was, they used to do all of this stuff. We don't do this so much now because it's all been thought of as woo and this kind of thing. But any of us that have had any experiences not what we've been taught or what we choose to believe, but actual experiences, we know that these things happen.

ford. We was at this old pub [:

So we were like. Oh, we've got some energy in here we need to deal with. And then we we were like, we were trying to figure out how to do it right because we know how to remove it very quickly and easily. But the way that we would normally do it, it would mean we wouldn't be able to do any of our experiments because the whole book, everything would get grounded.

y put on the table had gone. [:

We call them like thoughtful energies. They're often linked with the land that could have been there for a long time and just says, look, can we. Can we just get on with this and we'll have a chat about the other stuff later. And it literally, just went and then we grounded everything and it went, but having talked, spoke to the people, we said, how often have you been having these events here?

And they says we come here every month and have been for the last four years. I said to you. Do you find that this room is cold? And they were like, yeah, it's freezing. They're like four radiators in this relatively small room. It's it's hardly surprising. You've had a big vortex points and like information has been coming in a way.

explore the experiences I've [:

It won't, I won't say it would come looking for you. Yeah, you've gotta put yourself. In the way of it. And to be honest it, I've only ever found one let's call it a non tethered energy, where I've physically been able to douse it. Moving around the room it's incredibly rare. The room started, like you said, with the cold.

It started out, we're in this warm room. Then I find this vortex in the corner. I think it's probably the radiators because it's quite close there. Actually the woman who was filming it on the camera when the dowsing rod entered that area and started to swing in ripples, went across the camera. Yeah.

picked up a water pipe and I [:

It was just freezing. And then people were, there was five of us in the room. One of the girls straight away said, I, no, this is a bit too much for me. I'm getting out. There was another guy, he's oh, I've seen this in Hollywood. This is amazing. I can't believe this is happening.

He was ecstatic and was really reveling in the experience. And then it's the general interest of people. The others were just absolutely fascinated that this thing was moving around and it was like the dowsing was making it more tangible for people to understand. I see. And we got a couple of the other guys, they had a go at ging it as well.

really does open your mind. [:

We get taught about ghosts and all this kind of scary stuff. It's not they've over sensationalized it to, to my mind, like in the movies. And they've also make out that it's not. It's a rare thing but it's not it's common. Literally, energy fields containing information will be in your house now and even if you've cleaned it once, you have things and people come in and out and they can leave impressions and information fields within your house.

for me because these energy, [:

The way I look at them, this whole kind of ghost and port ghost and all that kind of thing is. It's more like hollywoodized, but you can start finding these things out and they're not scary. And when you can do something about them, you feel very empowered. I love going to deal with these things.

Do you? It's the thing is that you've got to look at it, that these types of energies, they're poor things that have got stuck between two planes. They don't wanna be there as much as you don't want them there. Or maybe you do but they're in the wrong place. And it's important when you are dealing with them to be respectful.

ut and a little scared, then [:

'cause you could end up causing all kinds of problems if it's not done done correctly. The last thing you want to do is rev something up. Someone else, more problems than they had in the first place. It's not the what, the wisest thing to go and do. So yeah, just be careful.

you, what dowsing can do to [:

Especially when you come to structure in it with pendulums, you can totally change the texture of it. It changes the molecules, I believe. The molecules, imagine going through the. The treatment system being smashed together. And when they come out the tap, they're all jaggedy and, horrible looking things.

And then you send a frequency of white through that glass of water and it's like they, they all relax and go back to the hexagonal or structured shape you. It totally alters the flavor of the water. Sorry, the texture of the water. It's like it's been for a water softener or something like that.

ive into this for some more, [:

So that can perhaps come on one of your courses. Yeah, so predominantly on Instagram. I don't really have a website or anything like that at the moment. But yeah, if you reach out to me through Instagram, it's. Lay Wrangler it's underscore after each word. Trying to think. I'll put the link, whoever's listening to this look in the show notes or in the notes underneath for YouTube.

But I love that the lay wrangler. LLEY, right? Le That's it. Yeah. LEY. Yeah. As in, in lay line. Yeah, that's it. So yeah, if you reach out to me, we can certainly look at doing workshops. I travel around the country or I host them at my home in Darbyshire. So yeah, if you something you want to learn practice I can certainly give you the tools to to go ahead and learn this.

It's life, it will change a [:

But there's more applications for dancing than this, but. If you have anybody in your household, right? That constantly loses things and being a woman and knowing many other women, it's usually us. It isn't it? We usually, it's us. We can't, I know, I'm gonna have to put my hand up as a female and just say this.

So instead of not knowing, because you didn't put 'em down like she did, right? So how are you supposed to know? Your dowsing could come in handy. So instead of spending ages being late, you can find a keys for you. And if you're a lady listening to this and you're sick of losing things, this is the way forward for you.

g to this. You know what I'm [:

Why I try and find where the hell I've put my keys again this time. So there's some brilliant, practical skills as well as some really interesting paranormal skills. And it's magical what you're doing, Shaun, and. Thank you very much for sharing this today. I'd love to have you on again and we'll talk about some more applications and experiences perhaps if you've got a workshop and things coming up that you wanna shout out to.

I really appreciate all the work that you're doing, what you showed me and Kelly was just next level. It was amazing. So thank you very much for being on today. No, not a problem. Thank you very much for having me. Wonderful. So thank you very much for everybody listening to the Crystal Water Experience Podcast, where I bring information that maybe isn't mainstream, but it's stuff that you should know and today as no exception.

Shaun and we will all start [:

And if you like this podcast, please subscribe share all that good stuff, and much love to you all. Enjoy the rest of your week. Take care.
