What happens when you spend more than 20 years working in technology before finally publishing your first novel at 50?
On this episode of The FAFO Podcast, I'm joined by author and entrepreneur Jay Floyd, whose debut novel, Thunderbird & Kool-Aid, takes readers back to Cleveland in 1988.
We talk about his upbringing, the experiences that shaped his writing, and what inspired him to launch Tomorrowlight Books, an independent publishing company dedicated to giving unconventional stories a chance to be heard.
We also get into creativity, artificial intelligence, the challenges of independent publishing, and why it's never too late to go after something you've always wanted.
Jay was refreshingly honest about his life and his journey, and this was one hell of an enjoyable conversation!
