🎉 It's my 37th birthday, and there's no better way to celebrate than to reflect on the nuggets of wisdom and the compelling stories shared by our guests so far!
My wife, Stephanie, and I kicked things off by sharing our journey through the laughters, tears, and breakthroughs that have defined our marriage and parenting. We gave you a front-row seat to our world, and I hope that our candid conversations on clear communication, honoring our spouses, and raising children have provided some valuable insights for you.
Rachel Jenks took us on a fascinating journey from being a ballerina to a marketer and then to an advocate for children affected by trafficking. We've learned that our identities are not defined by our professions, and Rachel's story is a true testament to that belief. We also got some practical tips on managing our emotions, unplugging to recharge, and journaling. The need to unplug and recharge has never been more critical than it is today, and I hope that Rachel's advice has helped you find peace in the midst of chaos.
Bret Magpiong, Amazon Bestseller, life coach and consultant, walked us through a framework for coming fully alive and living on purpose. He shared about the three P's - passions, principles and priorities and how when we multiple these three by E or effort - we can throw gasoline on life! But, without identifying and acknowledging our failures, we are missing a major compontent to finding our purpose. These ingredients, when mixed together, give us all a simple to follow framework for truly living on purpose, with purpose.
We were also enlightened by the inspiring story of resilience from our first international guest, Bradley Rose. The Peloton instructor shared his riveting journey of surviving a stroke in his 30s and turning setbacks into setups. Bradley's resilience and positive attitude towards adversity are truly inspiring, and I'm sure his story has resonated with many of you.
James Stagnitta, 2x Premier Lacrosse League Championship winning coach, broke down a champions journey and provided invaluable insights into leadership and how we can all be better in connecting with those under your care. His framework of asking questions, staying humble and developing empathy are an easy-to-follow framework any of us can follow to win with people. But he affirms over and over that our lives can be judged on wins and loses - but has to be based on how we lead by example and quality of our followers.
As we look back at these episodes, I express my profound gratitude to all our listeners for joining us on this journey.
