Speaker:

Hi, everyone.

Speaker:

Welcome.

Speaker:

I just finished my two weeks

Speaker:

of break from social media, and to be honest,

Speaker:

I didn't plan to start today, but it just happened

Speaker:

and I am excited to start this new journey

Speaker:

with what I'm going to share today,

Speaker:

100 days or less, as I call it.

Speaker:

But before I get into 100 Days of Bliss, let me just give you a backdrop story

Speaker:

of what made it happen, like how I came out

Speaker:

with this idea.

Speaker:

So as soon as you know that

Speaker:

for last two weeks I've been out, I have not been on social media, I paused,

Speaker:

you know, publishing any podcasts episodes and I was just deliberate

Speaker:

because there's a lot of things happening, you know,

Speaker:

in my life, in my work.

Speaker:

And there was too many things and all of a sudden you just started to feel heavy.

Speaker:

I felt the load off,

Speaker:

you know, everything that kept on

Speaker:

coming up and a new projects coming up and I started to accept them.

Speaker:

And you know, in amidst

Speaker:

all that hope, you know, I lost what you know was

Speaker:

there was a sense of fulfillment or joy coming out of those activities or,

Speaker:

you know, a radical idea.

Speaker:

As I listened to myself, I said, OK, I need to break, I need to let go.

Speaker:

And it was scary in for a minute

Speaker:

to think that you could stop social media

Speaker:

and not have the need and not have to ignore

Speaker:

any need to be on there, interact with people.

Speaker:

And I did miss interacting, but I have to be honest,

Speaker:

I enjoyed being with myself

Speaker:

for those two weeks and things I did.

Speaker:

If you listen to my episode at the start of the year

Speaker:

where they talk about how little, you know, one should have

Speaker:

a morning routine, their morning routine that fills you up.

Speaker:

I do have that routine, but

Speaker:

I also have tried to stay flexible in that sense.

Speaker:

Sometimes when I cannot get up early enough, which has been for a while,

Speaker:

then I just start with whatever

Speaker:

is needed in the moment and then I come back to my old self.

Speaker:

Most of the days, it's like, if you're late, you're going to get up.

Speaker:

You need to get kids to the school, get them ready.

Speaker:

And you know, that takes away.

Speaker:

And when you get back, then you get time for yourself.

Speaker:

And sometimes you know, there's not enough time for yourself in

Speaker:

between there because, you know,

Speaker:

obviously work also there, right?

Speaker:

And. Going back to this thing,

Speaker:

I had an idea that I, you know, one of the things that I do

Speaker:

is meditation.

Speaker:

I've been doing that for, I would say, a year now.

Speaker:

And you know, for those of you who do not sit and meditate, that's completely fine.

Speaker:

We all have our own way to connecting to the source.

Speaker:

For me, meditation, sitting down, just relax and listening is a way.

Speaker:

So I do that a few days ago.

Speaker:

About two weeks ago, I started a challenge of hundreds of meditation without break

Speaker:

because normally I've been flexible, like when I cannot do it,

Speaker:

I like to call , I don't push and force, which also has that effect.

Speaker:

But there is also, you know,

Speaker:

there's an aspect of discipline, commitment to resolve

Speaker:

and doing the things that you commit that you will do.

Speaker:

So obviously, I wasn't doing that.

Speaker:

I was just letting it slide in the name of flexibility and letting it call.

Speaker:

And you know, there are times when you have to let go

Speaker:

and you have to be the best judge of it.

Speaker:

But for me, that was not, you know,

Speaker:

that essential or anything critical.

Speaker:

I was hoping it was just a timing issue or creating the time was the issue.

Speaker:

So anyway, as I started by

Speaker:

doing that and amidst that, may, you know,

Speaker:

challenge, I had this idea that why am I doing the law?

Speaker:

And maybe I need to have people with me on this journey to experience

Speaker:

what it feels like doing something for yourself, for hundreds.

Speaker:

So I, you know, last night I thought.

Speaker:

So last night, I thought

Speaker:

that I will do that.

Speaker:

This idea came last night that I was thinking that I was tired

Speaker:

and I was still not

Speaker:

thinking that I would be doing it today.

Speaker:

I'll be talking about today in my mind.

Speaker:

It was something that I was going to plan.

Speaker:

I was going to come up,

Speaker:

you know how you fill up your soul for 100 days and making sure

Speaker:

you make yourself a priority for the next 100 days and do something?

Speaker:

The very first thing you do in the morning is something that you do for yourself,

Speaker:

something that you know makes you happy.

Speaker:

That just lets you instead of being sent to you, you

Speaker:

know it could be times it could be music.

Speaker:

It could be reading book.

Speaker:

It could be exercise.

Speaker:

It could be meditation, yoga, whatever it is, walk alone.

Speaker:

You do start something with that.

Speaker:

Intention that, you know, you are giving yourself fuss,

Speaker:

you're making yourself as a priority because you know

Speaker:

what, you wake up every day, the world will try to

Speaker:

shout and grab your attention.

Speaker:

Need you, everybody, your family, the wall, every thing

Speaker:

needs your attention.

Speaker:

And so often we just end up giving that attention

Speaker:

to the world and others at the course of our souls.

Speaker:

And what we ought to change is what I want to challenge

Speaker:

you is how about changing that

Speaker:

and starting your day with your self as the first person

Speaker:

you work for, not the first person you attend?

Speaker:

And and that, I know,

Speaker:

will change everything.

Speaker:

And I know right now you're thinking, Oh, I don't have time,

Speaker:

if you're busy, you don't have time, you know, time is always created.

Speaker:

It's it's not hard,

Speaker:

it's a it's a construct.

Speaker:

Human beings created time.

Speaker:

There was a time when there was no time.

Speaker:

There is no white right.

Speaker:

We are the people who clearly died, so you can always create time.

Speaker:

And it's not about the time, it's about the commitment.

Speaker:

It's about making yourself priority.

Speaker:

The challenges that you start your day with

Speaker:

you being that priority.

Speaker:

It could be minimum.

Speaker:

You know, it could be for 15 minutes, or it could be up to an hour,

Speaker:

depending on what fits your schedule.

Speaker:

But minimum minimum, if you give yourself 15 minutes of priority

Speaker:

right at the beginning of your day, I can guarantee you.

Speaker:

And you know, 100 days later, your life will look totally different.

Speaker:

You may be more healthy, you will be more attentive, you will be more present.

Speaker:

If you're doing meditation, you will be more,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

focused on your food intake, your exercise.

Speaker:

It will just happen naturally. You don't even have to think can do it.

Speaker:

It will happen because that's what transformation looks like when you commit

Speaker:

to something for yourself and you do it for, you know, a certain period.

Speaker:

It just becomes part of you.

Speaker:

And guess what?

Speaker:

Confidence has just got to be a piece of cake.

Speaker:

It's just going to build your confidence, your reputation,

Speaker:

because everything you repeat in that day is going to become your reputation.

Speaker:

And the most important reputation you have is with yourself

Speaker:

if you are able to keep the promises that you make with yourself.

Speaker:

You know, that would be the reputation you will have.

Speaker:

Here's the thing that made me do it today

Speaker:

instead of a week later, two weeks later.

Speaker:

Here's the thing.

Speaker:

Last night, as I was, you know, before I was going to bed,

Speaker:

I met Marie did it and then I just wrote down on a book day challenge.

Speaker:

I didn't do anything else.

Speaker:

I just wrote down this challenge.

Speaker:

I didn't think a lot about it.

Speaker:

And I slept and I slept late.

Speaker:

I think

Speaker:

I went to bed around 11:00 and 12:00.

Speaker:

My daughter walked into our bedroom and she said she couldn't sleep.

Speaker:

So, you know, I took her back to her room.

Speaker:

I sat with her for half an hour.

Speaker:

And when I felt like she slept, I came back

Speaker:

15 minutes later, she came back again.

Speaker:

So, you know, now around 1:00 a.m., I tell her to sleep on my bed

Speaker:

and then go back to the her room

Speaker:

so that, you know, we could sleep comfortably.

Speaker:

I only in the morning I heard this voice.

Speaker:

And I'm really in a deep sleep, my eyes are closed.

Speaker:

I'm sleeping with something in my consciousness.

Speaker:

I heard this voice.

Speaker:

Hold my hand and come.

Speaker:

In my sleep,

Speaker:

what I, you know, feels like the voice was selling grab,

Speaker:

go and make yourself variety,

Speaker:

sit down and meditate because if you don't get up now, you know

Speaker:

it's going to end up getting laid and you're not going to do

Speaker:

the meditation for us, you're not going to make yourself priority.

Speaker:

And you know,

Speaker:

it's not going to be on the challenge on the day

Speaker:

when to solve.

Speaker:

I wanted to negotiate like my

Speaker:

something in me, wanted to get out and get up, but

Speaker:

my body and my mind wanted to negotiate and it's like, OK, if I move minutes,

Speaker:

let me just sleep a little bit more.

Speaker:

I slept late and whatever, so I had all these excuses running.

Speaker:

Here's the thing.

Speaker:

There was somebody in me that was observing that all play.

Speaker:

I think five

Speaker:

or ten minutes later, I just got up

Speaker:

and barely could close, open my eyes.

Speaker:

I just walked into the other room where I normally meditate, and

Speaker:

I thought he was about 4:30 in the morning.

Speaker:

I just sat down and meditated and.

Speaker:

And during the meditation, the next idea that, you know,

Speaker:

same thing is challenged just came up and

Speaker:

I just felt like it has to be done now.

Speaker:

There was like something

Speaker:

was guiding me that it has to be done now.

Speaker:

And so here we are and making this challenge.

Speaker:

You know, I could think of 100 different ways to do these things,

Speaker:

but I think when something in you call it universe.

Speaker:

Call it intuition. Call it God.

Speaker:

Calling it life force, life, energy, whatever you want to call it, right.

Speaker:

There is something in you that is telling you

Speaker:

guiding you to take a stab.

Speaker:

You have to just do it.

Speaker:

You have to let it show you where it takes you.

Speaker:

And this is

Speaker:

me accepting to what is being shown to me.

Speaker:

I don't know where this will land,

Speaker:

but I know that if I continue doing this

Speaker:

and people do that for themselves, if you, you know,

Speaker:

commit 200 days of your time,

Speaker:

15 minutes, 30 minutes an hour, whatever it is,

Speaker:

that means you will have to get up that much earlier,

Speaker:

you know, to create their time if you do not have much time.

Speaker:

But if you do that?

Speaker:

I know 100 days later,

Speaker:

you know, your life will be different.

Speaker:

In fact, you know, you also know that if you close your eyes and just think

Speaker:

whatever you would like to do, whether it's music, does

Speaker:

yoga, meditation, exercise,

Speaker:

whatever it is, walking, reading, walk,

Speaker:

whatever it is that you would spend 15 days at the start of your day

Speaker:

to make yourself as a bride, the clothes of you close your eyes

Speaker:

and you know, 100 days later, you'll be a different person.

Speaker:

In fact, not only will be different person,

Speaker:

your circumstances will be different, right?

Speaker:

You may end up having more money.

Speaker:

All of a sudden, you may have better relationships.

Speaker:

You may have,

Speaker:

you know,

Speaker:

you know, you might get the house you were looking for

Speaker:

crazy, magical things that can happen when you start

Speaker:

listening to your intuition and give yourself that time to do it.

Speaker:

So I'm really excited that I'm going to do that. And.

Speaker:

And I'm really hoping

Speaker:

that you join me in this challenge at the end of the 100 days.

Speaker:

I would plan anyone where we could.

Speaker:

Everybody who participated could join online and celebrate

Speaker:

together, share their experiences.

Speaker:

That would be awesome.

Speaker:

I would love to have some,

Speaker:

you know, guest speakers

Speaker:

coming in all kinds of things is still in play.

Speaker:

I am open to how it transpires.

Speaker:

I'm open to having weekly meetings and connecting with people and doing that,

Speaker:

but it's all in the play. It's too early.

Speaker:

But the main thing is that you commit to it.

Speaker:

And if you're committed, how about just sign up,

Speaker:

you know, show your commitment and let's get this thing going.

Speaker:

I've got to end this

Speaker:

episode with a awesome song,

Speaker:

and I hope you enjoy it.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

See you on the other side.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did and got some valuable nuggets out of it.

Speaker:

If you liked it, there are other shows you can watch.

Speaker:

They are exactly what you need and I ask you to like, comment.

Speaker:

Subscribe.

Speaker:

Let me know what you thought of the show.

Speaker:

Really, I want to hear from you

Speaker:

first had what you felt, what you liked, what you didn't like.
