“Thomas, called the Twin, who was one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.” What happened to the brother of Thomas? Or his sister? Like many twins they would have been similar in many ways - starting with, of course, a shared personal history. Yet one is world-famous - and of the other we do not even know their name. This reality is a good backdrop against which to see the effect an encounter with the Lord has on our life. Life is very different under his care. Today is a good day for us to rechoose that different kind of life - to do each thing constantly in the presence of the risen Lord.
