Michael is a retired police Sergeant who was injured in the line of duty. Over time, his injuries almost cost him his life and confined him to a wheelchair.

One day as he was talking to his daughter about her wedding, he asked her what she wanted as her wedding gift. She told Michael that the gift she wanted most was for him to walk her down the aisle. Not just to be at the wedding, but to actually WALK her down the aisle. This re-lit the fire that had dwindled inside him.

Through his hard work, dedication to honoring his daughter’s wish, and connecting with the right doctors, Michael was able to fulfill that request and DID get himself out of the wheelchair and walk his daughter down the aisle for her wedding.
