Chelsey Donn:

I'm good.

Chelsey Donn:

'I got A' robo vacuum on the loose.

Chelsey Donn:

'I did send it home, but it's not seeming to find its home, so hopefully, hopefully it'll

Chelsey Donn:

Other than the loose vacuum.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm good.

Chelsey Donn:

Ready to record.

Chelsey Donn:

Excited to be here with you.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Got A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Very sweet message from your husband, David.

Chelsey Donn:

Did he tell you he was gonna call me?

Chelsey Donn:

He called me to thank me for making him our Royal Highness.

Chelsey Donn:

He left me A' very sweet voice now.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, that's so nice.

Trey Gerrald:

He didn't tell me that he was very touched.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, I'm very touched that he is such A' supportive fan of the show, and

Trey Gerrald:

Well, that's very sweet.

Trey Gerrald:

It's funny.

Trey Gerrald:

ChelseyBD and 'I have, we talked about this last week, but we have the same background

Chelsey Donn:

'I know, she

Trey Gerrald:

like Peter Pan.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Update the robot Vacuum did find its way home.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, that was quick.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

So how are you, Trey?

Chelsey Donn:

How's your week been?

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, thank you for asking.

Trey Gerrald:

My week is great as 'I shared 'I now have the iPhone 14, which is A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Really exciting.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh my God, I'm jealous.

Trey Gerrald:

and that's funny, uh, because I've been editing our episode where you talk about

Trey Gerrald:

But

Chelsey Donn:

you feel superior?

Trey Gerrald:

no 'I, just like, feel free.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

That's fair.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't feel free.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm still, I'm still, uh, in purgatory with my 11.

Trey Gerrald:

you haven't checked with Verizon to see if you have A' thousand dollars

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just 'I, You know what, 'I didn't have time this week, and so it's just,

Chelsey Donn:

That's what happens.

Chelsey Donn:

So

Trey Gerrald:

Well, why don't we move forward

Trey Gerrald:

and go into some fetch territory?

Trey Gerrald:

How do you feel about

VOICEOVER:

Lodge, A', Complaint.

Trey Gerrald:

time?

Chelsey Donn:

I'd love to Lodge A Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

Thanks for asking Today, 'I wanna talk about, you know, when you click on an

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

you have to click through all of them and then like maybe you like.

Chelsey Donn:

Got to that article cuz you were searching for like best spatula on Amazon or something.

Chelsey Donn:

And like one of the items in the slideshow is the spatula.

Chelsey Donn:

But now 'I have to click back like A' hundred times to get back to my original search

Chelsey Donn:

'I can't stand that.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes,

Chelsey Donn:

'I just wish that like 'I could somehow go through A' slideshow and

Chelsey Donn:

Like why do 'I need to click back 10 million?

Trey Gerrald:

'I hear that.

Trey Gerrald:

That

Trey Gerrald:

is so frustrating.

Chelsey Donn:

Just wanted A' spatula.

Trey Gerrald:

'I wish that you could just make the slide show A' Gallery view and you could just see

Trey Gerrald:

them all, or that the webpage would just not count each slide as A' new page.

Trey Gerrald:

That's so frustrating.

Chelsey Donn:

It is annoying.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't think I've ever come across this problem in websites that I've designed, but also

Chelsey Donn:

Impression,

Trey Gerrald:

Listeners, if ChelseyBD has designed your website, call

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Chelsey Donn:

Have 'I created problems for you and your visitor?

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe 'I did and 'I didn't even know.

Chelsey Donn:

So that's my Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

'I was looking for A' Spatula.

Chelsey Donn:

'I came across this listicle 'I thought, Take A' Gander.

Chelsey Donn:

And then before 'I knew it, it just, it really put A' damper on the entire search.

Trey Gerrald:

Did you get A' spatula?

Chelsey Donn:

'I did.

Trey Gerrald:

Was it the Spatty Daddy?

Chelsey Donn:

'I didn't get the Spatty Daddy though.

Chelsey Donn:

There's also Spatty.

Chelsey Donn:

Mommy.

Chelsey Donn:

Do you know that 'I?

Chelsey Donn:

Think 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think there's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Spatty.

Chelsey Donn:

Mommy, A' Spatty.

Chelsey Donn:

Daddy 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't know if there's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Grandpa

Trey Gerrald:

Maybe We have the Spatty baby, cuz we have the teeny tiny

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I think that that was the whole

Chelsey Donn:

thing with the Spatty daddy was that like it's so that you can get the last bit of the

Trey Gerrald:

it's amazing

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

'I have A'.

Chelsey Donn:

'I actually don't own A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Spatty Daddy, maybe 'I should get one.

Chelsey Donn:

Anyway, that's my Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

Short and sweet.

Chelsey Donn:

What is your Complaint this week?

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Hear you now.

Trey Gerrald:

My Complaint is also short and sweet.

Trey Gerrald:

This is like A' personal thing that sort of like bothers me, but.

Trey Gerrald:

A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Have you ever had A' friend who whenever they refer to their parents, they always

Trey Gerrald:

Instead of saying,

Trey Gerrald:

My

Trey Gerrald:

mom said this, or my dad said this,

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

That's funny.

Trey Gerrald:

it makes me irrationally emotional only because that's not my parent.

Trey Gerrald:

Why are you referring to them as mom?

Trey Gerrald:

' Oh, mom hurt her back and now she's

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, you know, Dad turns 72.

Chelsey Donn:

Do you think that's like A' cultural?

Chelsey Donn:

Like A' or like if you're from the south, like do you think that's more common?

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't, 'I actually have two examples in my life, and

Trey Gerrald:

and both have different, different religious backgrounds.

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I don't think it has anything to do with culture necessarily.

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't E and 'I can't even pinpoint what 'I think it is or what it means.

Trey Gerrald:

It's just frustrating to me because.

Trey Gerrald:

You're just mi What is that?

Trey Gerrald:

What is my, Is that A'?

Trey Gerrald:

What do

Trey Gerrald:

you call?

Trey Gerrald:

What is my, Is that,

Chelsey Donn:

Verify.

Chelsey Donn:

'I Don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

Is that A'?

Trey Gerrald:

Clarifier?

Trey Gerrald:

' Like you're just missing A' two letter word.

Trey Gerrald:

So why aren't you saying my mom?

Trey Gerrald:

Like, it doesn't even take more times.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like the same syllables as saying, Mama.

Trey Gerrald:

You could just say, My mom.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, 'I think it's probably the same people that are

Chelsey Donn:

They're just like very personal, like their experience is your experience.

Chelsey Donn:

S, but it is 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Get it?

Chelsey Donn:

That's annoying.

Chelsey Donn:

'I get personally annoyed when my sister will go like, you know, and then 'I was talking

Chelsey Donn:

I'm like your mom?

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, that's weird.

Chelsey Donn:

that's our mom.

Chelsey Donn:

You don't get to just like claim her for yourself.

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe it's because she's like, Used to complaining to A' friend or something.

Chelsey Donn:

So she like doesn't change it when she's talking to me, but she'll constantly be

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean, not always, but like every once in A' while she does it and I'm like,

Trey Gerrald:

that's

Chelsey Donn:

I'm here.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm on the line

Trey Gerrald:

Well, this is A' weird, but my sister and 'I, whenever we refer

Chelsey Donn:

Some, sometimes we go, Mommy and daddy.

Chelsey Donn:

Depends

Trey Gerrald:

like full on adults.

Trey Gerrald:

Like my sister has two children, but like 'I would never refer to them and with those words

Chelsey Donn:

In

Trey Gerrald:

or names and to anyone

Trey Gerrald:

else, only with each other.

Chelsey Donn:

That's fair.

Chelsey Donn:

'I think that that's probably

Trey Gerrald:

Mandy was like my mommy, then 'I would be like, Excuse me.

Chelsey Donn:

'I know.

Chelsey Donn:

It's weird.

Chelsey Donn:

It's very

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, if you're ever speaking to me about your parents, please add the word my

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, how do

Chelsey Donn:

you feel, how do you feel like if David said Mom did this or dad did

Trey Gerrald:

That's A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Good question.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, 'I think he actually, this is very cultural, but 'I think he says 'I think.

Trey Gerrald:

He's like,

Trey Gerrald:

Ma.

Trey Gerrald:

Which is

Chelsey Donn:

but will you say like, will you say like, Ma did this and PA did this, or whatever?

Trey Gerrald:

Think he does say, My

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't think he's ever referred to my mother-in-law as mom.

Chelsey Donn:

call your mother-in-law Mom when you're like with her?

Trey Gerrald:

No 'I, say Joanne.

Trey Gerrald:

No.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

I.

Trey Gerrald:

Call them by their names.

Trey Gerrald:

But wait.

Trey Gerrald:

Very interesting because 'I at Rash, A', Shauna, we were at A' friend's house and

Chelsey Donn:

it's definitely A'

Trey Gerrald:

like

Trey Gerrald:

' I totally picked up on.

Chelsey Donn:

'I feel like it's like an old school like respect thing.

Chelsey Donn:

In my mind I'm thinking more with like no 'I think it goes both ways.

Chelsey Donn:

'I was thinking more like heteronormative couples like the guy referring to the wife's parents

Chelsey Donn:

Cause 'I think that the heteronormative couple, couple 'I don't know why

Chelsey Donn:

It doesn't need to be.

Chelsey Donn:

But the point is 'I do think that there's like A' historical.

Chelsey Donn:

Respect element to calling in-laws mom or dad.

Chelsey Donn:

Like it makes it seem like I'm really taking you on as my mother and father, as opposed to like,

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, the in-laws,

Trey Gerrald:

But 'I do refer to my in-laws as grandma and grandpa to our dogs,

Chelsey Donn:

right?

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

And 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think maybe that's where it starts, cuz once you have kids, It gets A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Little more confused.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

This was A' very deep dive into mom and dad and my mom and my dad and mom and pa and all the things

Trey Gerrald:

does remind me of like episode five of this podcast when 'I lodged A'

Trey Gerrald:

' bothersome to me.

Chelsey Donn:

Interesting.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes, this is, But you know what's funny is that I've gotten more annoyed by

Chelsey Donn:

Like I've gotten more annoyed by the like long terrain of like, Hey, how's it going?

Chelsey Donn:

Like, you know, and the reason why 'I get annoyed is because you can't unread it.

Chelsey Donn:

So sometimes 'I just like to know what the text message wa like, at

Chelsey Donn:

And now it's like you're forcing me to un.

Chelsey Donn:

You know what I'm

Trey Gerrald:

Mm-hmm.

Trey Gerrald:

.Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

So now that we've

Trey Gerrald:

That feels good.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's jump into some reviews.

Trey Gerrald:

You want to,

Chelsey Donn:

'I do.

Chelsey Donn:

'I do.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

Let's do this.

VOICEOVER:

Review That, Review.

Chelsey Donn:

As you know, we are your trustee.

Chelsey Donn:

Review Queens.

Chelsey Donn:

We bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.

Trey Gerrald:

We read you the review, break it down and rate the impact of the review

Trey Gerrald:

It's A', very regal process that we like to call.

VOICEOVER:

Assess, That, Kvetch.

Trey Gerrald:

And ChelseyBD, it's you today.

Trey Gerrald:

What have you got for us

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, get ready everybody, because somebody got A' bad haircut.

Chelsey Donn:

That's all I'm gonna say for that little tease.

Trey Gerrald:

Uhoh?

Chelsey Donn:

are going to trim hair salon today vis A' VI Yelp.

Chelsey Donn:

Trim is A' hair salon in.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, it's interesting because their website is venice trim.com,

Chelsey Donn:

So trim already right off the bat, doesn't seem to know where they fall.

Chelsey Donn:

Kim L however, has opinions.

Chelsey Donn:

So this is Kim L's.

Chelsey Donn:

One star review of trim.

Chelsey Donn:

Here we go.

Chelsey Donn:

Trim offers laughably bad service, top to bottom.

Chelsey Donn:

It's receptionist in particular, can't seem to keep an appointment straight.

Chelsey Donn:

My husband made an appointment for A' haircut, but when he dutifully arrived at

Chelsey Donn:

Later that evening, the owner of the salon called and left him A' message confirming

Chelsey Donn:

She even offered to make good by giving him A' free haircut.

Chelsey Donn:

Herself

Trey Gerrald:

Oh,

Chelsey Donn:

pleased with the owner's kind gesture.

Chelsey Donn:

He called again to make an appointment.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

When he arrived, he was told the owner was unavailable and that A' more

Trey Gerrald:

'I know.

Chelsey Donn:

was unfamiliar with curly hair and sliced A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Huge chunk off the side of his head, leaving A' massive hairless hole

Chelsey Donn:

To add another insult to this follicular manslaughter, when he informed the reception desk

Chelsey Donn:

Playing the owner's voicemail to the receptionist was not evidence enough to convince her he paid

Chelsey Donn:

Even though trim mis groomed him like A' feral cat, you'll never fool us again.

Chelsey Donn:

Trim.

VOICEOVER:

Mm-hmm.

Trey Gerrald:

Uh

Chelsey Donn:

What do we think of Kim out 'I mean?

Chelsey Donn:

This is one of those rare examples where we do have somebody writing on behalf of someone else,

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I still loved the review, so 'I brought it.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Feel like Kim l was the winner of her spelling bee in elementary school.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Hundred percent.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

Agree.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I was wondering, 'I was like, Should we start this conversation

Chelsey Donn:

I?

Chelsey Donn:

Think Kim l might be A' lawyer maybe.

Trey Gerrald:

'I actually think this might be A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Little harsh 'I think that

Trey Gerrald:

Kim L did not live up to their potential

Trey Gerrald:

and

Chelsey Donn:

Oh.

Trey Gerrald:

hold A' high status job, and so

Trey Gerrald:

therefore they're constantly showing.

Trey Gerrald:

The education that they once had because they

Chelsey Donn:

That's all they have to show.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

That's what, That's how it occurs to me.

Trey Gerrald:

There's no reason

Chelsey Donn:

that cuts deep.

Chelsey Donn:

Try

Trey Gerrald:

recompense inside of A' Yelp.

Trey Gerrald:

Review for A' hair salon, that has named itself trim.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think it was sort of funny.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Like the humor.

Chelsey Donn:

I like the winky humor.

Trey Gerrald:

manslaughter.

Chelsey Donn:

exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

Follicular manslaughter.

Chelsey Donn:

Like there was A', Lot of wittiness in this review that 'I liked.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm gonna leave space for Kim l to be A' real professional, who just like

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I 'I wanna leave space for that?

Chelsey Donn:

Uh, for Kim.

Trey Gerrald:

Honestly, 'I am pleased by the tone of this one star because

Trey Gerrald:

and they're still using levity and comedy and you know, A' Thesaurus.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

, Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

though, right off the top here.

Chelsey Donn:

Mm-hmm.

Trey Gerrald:

Kim is saying that they're disappointing from top to bottom.

Trey Gerrald:

What do you think

Trey Gerrald:

the top and the bottom are of A' Hair salon?

Chelsey Donn:

'I think the top is the hairstylist and the bottom is reception.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, see, 'I was thinking the bottom is like the clearance rack

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe, yeah, 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just think that the point, you know, that we're making here is that like

Chelsey Donn:

'I really liked that Kim L again used my favorite in A' one star, which is

Chelsey Donn:

Like he went and he made an appointment, then they said he didn't have an appointment.

Chelsey Donn:

And that's annoying.

Chelsey Donn:

Like that's an annoying thing.

Chelsey Donn:

Like you.

Chelsey Donn:

Are presumably A' professional.

Chelsey Donn:

You don't even have time to write this review.

Chelsey Donn:

You're such A' professional, right?

Chelsey Donn:

And you make this appointment to fit it into your schedule, and then you show

Chelsey Donn:

That's like upsetting enough.

Chelsey Donn:

And then they gave the owner credit by calling and 'I gave the owner credit along

Chelsey Donn:

Like, that's annoying that that happened, but like the owner's gonna make it right?

Chelsey Donn:

And.

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean?

Chelsey Donn:

That's what was confusing 'I guess to me in the review is that like the owner's there, why is

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, they're just preoccupied with something 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm also curious

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, when he arrived to you told the owner was unavailable.

Chelsey Donn:

Like do you just mean, does you think that just means that the owner wasn't there?

Chelsey Donn:

Because 'I assume if the owner was there and he's like playing the voicemail from the owner, that

Trey Gerrald:

right, or they would honor the appointment that was made.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

With

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

I.

Trey Gerrald:

Wonder what unavailable means.

Trey Gerrald:

That's A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Good question.

Trey Gerrald:

It also occurs to me that this receptionist is maybe the owner's nephew or like niece.

Chelsey Donn:

Interesting.

Chelsey Donn:

Like related

Trey Gerrald:

Well, just because they keep messing up appointments.

Trey Gerrald:

So much so that the owner is calling on behalf of the air from reception.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

But they're still working there, like they haven't been

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

That seems like A' termination to.

Trey Gerrald:

You're

Trey Gerrald:

offering A' free complimentary service to make up for the error.

Trey Gerrald:

Like 'I Doubt that Kim's husband is the first person that this happened to, or the

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just think that that's really where like the big fail comes for me is when they're like the husband

Chelsey Donn:

Like what?

Chelsey Donn:

Even if it's A' matter of like that particular, like the owner.

Chelsey Donn:

Is obviously able to comp A' haircut cuz it's like their location as opposed to

Chelsey Donn:

So it's like that person is, is gonna be paying the price for something

Chelsey Donn:

But the, at the end of the day, it's like, well then it's the owner's responsibility

Chelsey Donn:

Junior, Silas, what they're owed for this haircut.

Chelsey Donn:

Like it's just, it's crazy.

Chelsey Donn:

It's ridiculous.

Chelsey Donn:

Not that it matters, but like there were other reviews that also mentioned issues with reception.

Chelsey Donn:

So like 'I don't feel like Kim Al is being A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Karen here, 'I, think that like this is clearly A' problem.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

it does occur to me.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm getting A' story here that perhaps Kim L's husband is sort of like go with the flow.

Trey Gerrald:

Doesn't wanna like ruffle feathers as Kim says.

Trey Gerrald:

They're not an animal and 'I think Kim is A' little like.

Trey Gerrald:

No.

Trey Gerrald:

Like they

Trey Gerrald:

wronged you.

Trey Gerrald:

You have to, Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

You can't pay them.

Trey Gerrald:

They cut as, When was this review written?

Chelsey Donn:

This review is written in 2018.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Just because as A', gay man,

Trey Gerrald:

the phrase hairless hole, uh, lands in A' whole different way.

Trey Gerrald:

So when you read that out

Trey Gerrald:

' loud, I, mouth, my mo, my jaw dropped.

Trey Gerrald:

Speaking of

Trey Gerrald:

' heteronormative,

Trey Gerrald:

' Chelsey Donn: I did not even think about that.

Trey Gerrald:

O M G.

Trey Gerrald:

Hilarious.

Trey Gerrald:

Wait, it is 'I do know because 'I have straight hair, but David has curly hair.

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I do

Trey Gerrald:

' know that there is A' distinction and

Trey Gerrald:

But if you, even if you are A' junior stylist,

Trey Gerrald:

didn't you go to school to learn about curls?

Trey Gerrald:

Like how do you cut A' chunk?

Trey Gerrald:

That's A' problem.

Chelsey Donn:

But the term junior stylist is an interesting one.

Chelsey Donn:

Like

Trey Gerrald:

What

Trey Gerrald:

does that mean?

Chelsey Donn:

Like, is it actually, is it A' Junior stylist in that it's like,

Chelsey Donn:

Beauty school like doesn't even have the full stylist moniker is, has to have the junior

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

It makes me think of Frenchie.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm totally thinking Frenchie, but Frenchie at least had the dignity to drop out.

Chelsey Donn:

'I also think French.

Chelsey Donn:

She like would've been great if she would've finished just as A' side.

Trey Gerrald:

Really?

Chelsey Donn:

'I do 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think Frenchie.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, she just like hit A' rough patch and she let that rough patch stop her.

Trey Gerrald:

She dye her hair pink.

Chelsey Donn:

Everybody's gonna dye their hair pink at one point.

Trey Gerrald:

that does feel to me like science, Like you have to get the right

Chelsey Donn:

get it right.

Chelsey Donn:

You gotta learn.

Chelsey Donn:

She's still in school.

Chelsey Donn:

She wasn't claiming to be A' stylist.

Chelsey Donn:

To trim.

Chelsey Donn:

'I was gonna ask about that, like the difference between curly haircuts and regular haircuts.

Chelsey Donn:

'I wonder how.

Chelsey Donn:

It doesn't seem like her husband was particularly nervous.

Chelsey Donn:

Like 'I wonder if David gets nervous when he's going to get A' haircut and he has curly hair.

Chelsey Donn:

Like oof 'I Hope.

Chelsey Donn:

They're really not gonna mess it up cuz there's only certain people that can do this.

Chelsey Donn:

It seems like husband like was going with A' flow.

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean, What was he supposed to do at that point?

Chelsey Donn:

'I guess.

Chelsey Donn:

He had already taken like two days of his time to show off.

Chelsey Donn:

He was like, All right, I'll get this stupid haircut.

Trey Gerrald:

exactly.

Trey Gerrald:

'I also thought it was funny how Kim says that the husband dutifully arrived.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes, there's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Lot of great, you know, language in here that 'I 'I mean.

Chelsey Donn:

My favorite was the, the follicular manslaughter.

Chelsey Donn:

Nice, nice use of pun there.

Trey Gerrald:

That sounds like A' punk band to me.

Trey Gerrald:

Follicular manslaughter playing at the

Chelsey Donn:

Do you think they're all, 'I Would think if if follicular manslaughter

Trey Gerrald:

They'd be bald.

Chelsey Donn:

band, they'd all be bald?

Trey Gerrald:

Yes, absolutely.

Trey Gerrald:

And they would shave audience

Trey Gerrald:

' members' heads like, Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

You wanna go to like the Viper room and see molecular manslaughter later?

Trey Gerrald:

'I think that's right.

Trey Gerrald:

'I think

Trey Gerrald:

that

Trey Gerrald:

' Chelsey Donn: I think that's right.

Trey Gerrald:

'I mean.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So honestly, this review here, to me, 'I think.

Trey Gerrald:

There is value here because

Trey Gerrald:

there's clearly an error.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, there's multiple errors here.

Trey Gerrald:

First, the receptionist like didn't actually have on the books and sent them away.

Trey Gerrald:

Then it seems that they actually did have it on the books.

Trey Gerrald:

They just had an error, and so then you get called by the company

Trey Gerrald:

owner, and then the owner offers you A' complimentary, but then they're unavailable.

Trey Gerrald:

Then the reception person has A' problem once again, so then you

Trey Gerrald:

go to someone, then they.

Trey Gerrald:

Won't take the cop, even though you're playing the voicemail.

Trey Gerrald:

So then you have to pay and you've had A', bad haircut,

Trey Gerrald:

and you have to tip like that.

Trey Gerrald:

It's just so many strikes and it's reception like it's the

Trey Gerrald:

gatekeeper.

Trey Gerrald:

You can't get through the door without dealing with reception.

Chelsey Donn:

It reminds me, did you ever watch that show with like Tabitha?

Trey Gerrald:

Tabitha, Salon

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

Did you watch that show?

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

It reminds me of that, like if Tabitha was there, like she would be like, You're the

Chelsey Donn:

If you mess up the entire ship's going down, we have to shut down the

Chelsey Donn:

You know, like 'I can just.

Chelsey Donn:

See that ha 'I like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think we should call Tabitha and be like, Tabitha, you need to go to

Chelsey Donn:

Because 'I do think that trim has potential.

Chelsey Donn:

Like they don't have, you know, zero stars like they could get there.

Chelsey Donn:

They, they seem like they're just 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

One hair shy of A', tope, 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

does come across as truthful to me.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

There's so much information here.

Trey Gerrald:

and 'I even said it earlier.

Trey Gerrald:

It doesn't seem, This doesn't seem fluky.

Trey Gerrald:

It kind of seems like it's probably typical that this receptionist just keeps losing

Trey Gerrald:

'I just can't believe you would send someone away like, 'I don't understand.

Trey Gerrald:

That seems so odd to me.

Trey Gerrald:

Also, you brought it up.

Trey Gerrald:

Why is the owner unavailable?

Trey Gerrald:

What does unavailable

Trey Gerrald:

actually

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Chelsey Donn:

Does unavailable mean they're in the back or does Una available mean

Chelsey Donn:

Either way.

Chelsey Donn:

Like even if that was the case and the person came in and they were like, This is the

Chelsey Donn:

It's like, well, 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm curious cause like you'd think at that point the receptionist would handle it no matter what.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I've.

Chelsey Donn:

Been an assistant.

Chelsey Donn:

So like even if my, if something like this had happened with like my boss that my boss like

Chelsey Donn:

'I would still as like their assistant stand up for them and like take the bullet

Chelsey Donn:

There's been like an, you know, emergency and she's not here.

Chelsey Donn:

But like

Trey Gerrald:

Some

Chelsey Donn:

we're gonna send you on to Stephanie.

Chelsey Donn:

And she's wonderful,

Chelsey Donn:

you know.

Chelsey Donn:

Make it happen.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I do definitely believe Kim 'I think that there's A' problem here.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Could crown Kim 'I feel like we've considered it all?

Chelsey Donn:

Is there any 'I?

Chelsey Donn:

Mean spelling, grammar obviously great.

Chelsey Donn:

We even use semicolons, which 'I don't even know how to use properly.

Chelsey Donn:

'I do believe there's like,

Chelsey Donn:

Definitely A'.

Chelsey Donn:

level A' spelling Champ and like A' A' commitment to writing A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Good review.

Chelsey Donn:

It's not like one huge chunky long review.

Chelsey Donn:

We're, we're dividing into paragraphs.

Chelsey Donn:

Looks very, very pretty.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Think 'I can Crown Kimmel

Trey Gerrald:

dutifully.

Chelsey Donn:

let's dutifully Crown Kim l.

Trey Gerrald:

All right, so ChelseyBD and 'I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.

Trey Gerrald:

In an effort to be fair and not influenced by one another, we will simultaneously

VOICEOVER:

The Queens are.

Chelsey Donn:

Four and A' Half crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

Four and A' half crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

The Queens are unanimous.

Chelsey Donn:

A' Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

You go first.

Chelsey Donn:

Why four?

Chelsey Donn:

And A' half crowns for Kim.

Trey Gerrald:

'I really like this.

Trey Gerrald:

Review.

Trey Gerrald:

'I appreciate the levity.

Trey Gerrald:

Even though someone literally got A', chunk of curly hair cut out revealing

Trey Gerrald:

'I took half of A' crown away.

Trey Gerrald:

Only because 'I think it does get A' little dicey when you're reviewing on behalf of someone else.

Trey Gerrald:

But 'I really get from Kim's review that they sort of are like pushing

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I think that this is yet another extension of that A', and it makes me have

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

You know, 'I took the half crown off because 'I wanted the first

Trey Gerrald:

'I think Kim really buried the lead with that

Trey Gerrald:

great joke.

Trey Gerrald:

I think that that would've helped me get the tone earlier on because you know, reading like

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I could have passed on by because 'I didn't wanna like get sucked

Trey Gerrald:

into the drama.

Trey Gerrald:

But 'I Hope Kim is doing really well and 'I hope that they still have their

Trey Gerrald:

So that's why 'I said four and A' half.

Trey Gerrald:

Really solid review.

Trey Gerrald:

ChelseyBD, why did you say four and A'?

Chelsey Donn:

'I said four and A' half for A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Similar reason 'I can't give A' five crown to somebody that is not like the

Chelsey Donn:

So that was the only reason why 'I took the Half Crown.

Chelsey Donn:

Other than that, 'I really believe that Kim L is an A' plus student.

Chelsey Donn:

'I think that if Kim L were listening, she might be A' little upset that

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I just wanna clarify.

Chelsey Donn:

Kim A', you did get an A' Plus in my opinion, on the review itself.

Chelsey Donn:

It was really well written.

Chelsey Donn:

'I believed you.

Chelsey Donn:

All your points were very clear.

Chelsey Donn:

You, you said everything in A' way that was both humorous but not shady.

Chelsey Donn:

You did the compliment sandwich.

Chelsey Donn:

You, you ticked A'.

Chelsey Donn:

All of the boxes.

Chelsey Donn:

'I just simply had to take off the half crown because 'I wanted to hear from hubby.

Chelsey Donn:

Also, in regards to what you said about this feeling very truthful and maybe keeping you from

Chelsey Donn:

'I just wanna say 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think this is A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Really good example for this owner to have stepped in and written A' reply to this review.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think this is A' Law, right?

Chelsey Donn:

This is A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Really easy for the owner of Trim.

Chelsey Donn:

If you're listening to this review, get on there and like apologize and say, I'm so sorry.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, 'I had A' family emergency come up.

Chelsey Donn:

You're right, This is completely unacceptable that twice you came.

Chelsey Donn:

And blah, blah blah.

Chelsey Donn:

'I do wanna give you that free haircut And 'I do wanna make it right and show you that we're A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Great Salon, please come back.

Chelsey Donn:

You know 'I promise I'll be there, whatever.

Chelsey Donn:

And hopefully we'll give you great service and you can amend your review.

Chelsey Donn:

Even if that was written there, based on the fact that Kim l did leave space in her review

Chelsey Donn:

Think it could have been very impactful.

Chelsey Donn:

But unfortunately because we don't have that 'I am left with A' sour taste in my mouth

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I think Kim L did an excellent job, certainly worth four, and A' half crowns.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, 'I agree.

Trey Gerrald:

'I definitely had the same feeling about the reply.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm surprised that this was four years ago, five years ago, and there's been no

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean easy, easy.

Chelsey Donn:

Lo of A' reply.

Chelsey Donn:

We already are kind of seeing the owner in A', higher light 'I think we could

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

'I still have high regard for the owner, honestly.

Trey Gerrald:

But 'I feel like that's why 'I think that the receptionist is

Trey Gerrald:

they're pulling A' favor for their friend.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

Something.

Chelsey Donn:

right?

Chelsey Donn:

Something's gotta be A',

Trey Gerrald:

Well, that's fun.

Trey Gerrald:

Good job.

Trey Gerrald:

ChelseyBD.

Trey Gerrald:

That was A' fun.

Trey Gerrald:

Number of you trim.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, trim.

Chelsey Donn:

Feel free to defend yourself.

Chelsey Donn:

Call in, Say you fired the receptionist.

Chelsey Donn:

Let us know.

Chelsey Donn:

Not writing you off is A' Small business, but definitely some issues to workout.

Chelsey Donn:

Tabitha, Tabitha, Tabitha, are you listening?

Trey Gerrald:

that's right.

Trey Gerrald:

' A'.

Chelsey Donn:

I.

Chelsey Donn:

Write my Queen.

Chelsey Donn:

We did it.

Chelsey Donn:

We have reached the most regal portion of our show.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey, who are you?

Chelsey Donn:

Inducting.

VOICEOVER:

My Royal line.

Trey Gerrald:

Well ChelseyBD today, 'I am actually very excited.

Trey Gerrald:

'I am going to induct the Internet's cat.

Chelsey Donn:

What

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, I'm so glad you said what?

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I don't know if, um,

Trey Gerrald:

you know this or if any of our listeners know,

Trey Gerrald:

but there is A' website called Pearl.

Trey Gerrald:

P U R R L 'I dot com.

Trey Gerrald:

Do you

Trey Gerrald:

hear

Chelsey Donn:

like A' tiger.

Trey Gerrald:

So perley.com is A' website.

Trey Gerrald:

What?

Chelsey Donn:

Oh my God.

Chelsey Donn:

'I can't!.

Trey Gerrald:

'I didn't know it.

Trey Gerrald:

Meow.

Trey Gerrald:

So, okay, so basically there's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Trey Gerrald:

There's six different modifiers where you can create A', puring, kitty cat.

Trey Gerrald:

You can make it steady, you can make it lively.

Trey Gerrald:

You can lengthen or shorten the in and out pers you can make them really far away.

Trey Gerrald:

A' really close.

Chelsey Donn:

Wow.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, it's such A' distant kitty cat.

Chelsey Donn:

Dying to know how and why you found this site.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm obsessed with Perley.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, it's A' me.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm gonna stop it cuz it's A' little distracting.

Trey Gerrald:

So, Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm

Trey Gerrald:

obsessed with

Chelsey Donn:

like A' chicken.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

It did.

Trey Gerrald:

It did sound like A'.

Trey Gerrald:

It sounded like A' Little Rooster

Trey Gerrald:

Camp.

Trey Gerrald:

' Chelsey Donn: I.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm obsessed with Perley.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know why it was created.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know what the intention is, but 'I found an article saying this website, there

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

They were like really rowdy.

Trey Gerrald:

They, they like hadn't learned to meow yet, but they were like, they wouldn't sleep regular hours.

Trey Gerrald:

They were really like destructive and they put.

Trey Gerrald:

This on like A' little um, fob or whatever.

Trey Gerrald:

And she left the room and she came back and all of the kittens were asleep.

Trey Gerrald:

Snuggling up

Trey Gerrald:

to the little monitor fob thing that was playing the pers right.

Trey Gerrald:

And then there was this other quote from A' student in college saying that like they would

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I just think it's hilarious that like someone created this AI.

Trey Gerrald:

Purring kitty cat for like whatever reasons that someone would need that or

Trey Gerrald:

want that or could benefit from that and that people are actually like

Trey Gerrald:

'I think it's hilarious.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm all for white noise, Brown noise, green

Trey Gerrald:

noise, any of this sort

Chelsey Donn:

Green noise.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, 'I just saw that video on YouTube the other day and

Trey Gerrald:

I'm not necessarily A' cat person.

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't have anything against them, but 'I love this.

Trey Gerrald:

It is comforting to me.

Trey Gerrald:

Those meows did sound like A' Rooster, but um, you know, 'I love it.

Trey Gerrald:

So for that reason, 'I wanted to induct purley p u r r l 'I dot com so that all

Trey Gerrald:

If you want A' creative comforting companion, then go.

Trey Gerrald:

The internet has A' cat.

Trey Gerrald:

You can meet Pearly today for that reason.

Trey Gerrald:

Pearl, you are My.
