Meia Santos is born and raised in Chicago. Today she is multitasking at her best by balancing work, school and raising her 2-year-old son with her fiancé. She shares what it was like being raised by a single mother who valued preserving language and culture. She also opens up about how abusive relationships can get passed down from mother to daughter and the importance of being the change that you want to see.
