In this lecture, we cover verses 1 through 3 of the first chapter. These verses affirm the sacred humanity of our Lord. It helps us answer the critical question of being a witness. What does it mean to be a witness for Christ?
It shows us that morality (how we live) is intimately joined to theology (what we believe). This a predominant theme of the Book of Revelation and is in harmony with the four senses where the moral sense is built upon the literal sense.
