Our January theme is Patterns.

We are subject to worldly patterns that create structure and cycles in our dynamic shared realm. At the same time, through forces like will, desire, fear, and trauma, we also exert patterns of our own as we move through this life. This month, we sip and sit with what creates these habits and how we might weave new patterns in a season of intentions and resolutions.

This episode is themed "Perilous Expectations," and takes place January 15, 2021, just over one week from the storming of the U.S. Capitol building, and the leftover feelings from this event inform our contemplation here.
