Everyone asks how they are.
Sometimes no one thinks to ask about you.
That can leave you feeling unseen, even when you are surrounded by people.
This guided breathing reset for caregivers uses a slow, steady breath with one hand resting gently over your heart, if that feels comfortable. It creates a quiet moment to notice your own feelings and needs after spending so much time answering questions about someone else.
This episode is for moments when:
- You feel invisible behind the person you care for.
- You are tired of always being the one giving updates and answering questions.
- You wish someone would ask how you are and stay long enough to hear the answer.
- You need a few minutes to remember that your feelings matter, too.
This 5 minute breathing exercise gives you a moment to turn your attention toward yourself. There is nothing to explain, fix, or perform. You can simply notice what is here and give yourself a little room to be seen.
