Many of us find ourselves in jobs we don't love, feeling disconnected from our true purpose. Craig Siegel left a lucrative Wall Street job during the pandemic to pursue his passion for personal development, and now helps people create space to connect with themselves and find their true calling.

To find our true calling – our soul’s purpose – we need to disconnect from distractions, reflect on what truly fulfils us, and dare to envision a different future. We have to be intentional with our life choices, work hard when necessary, but be open to new possibilities, insights, and flow.

Lorin:

Welcome to the Masculine and Feminine Dynamics podcast.

Lorin:

My name is Lorin Krenn, and I'm a coach author and hypnotherapist.

Lorin:

I help you to create the relationship you want.

Lorin:

Let's dive in.

Craig:

So we just recently dropped a TED talk.

Craig:

And when I was preparing for my TED talk, I was collecting data and I saw a pretty alarming stat.

Craig:

And that is that only 20% of Americans find purpose in the work that they do.

Craig:

That means eight outta 10 people wake up every day and go to a job that they don't really like.

Craig:

And I was one of those cats.

Craig:

And so I spent 13 years on Wall Street and I wouldn't change the thing.

Craig:

It was all part of my journey.

Craig:

I was making a lot of money during that season of life.

Craig:

And back then, if I'm being honest, I was motivated by money and status and definitely a lot more unenlightened than I am today.

Craig:

But ultimately it began to run its course.

Craig:

And so I just, like many people felt like I was here for something much more.

Craig:

And even though I had my own business and I was doing well, every day when I woke up, it's like my soul was contracting as opposed to expanding.

Craig:

And a couple things happened at once.

Craig:

I found myself in a pretty dark place.

Craig:

Just got outta a toxic relationship, which at the time ain't fun.

Craig:

My dad, my best friend, had gotten diagnosed with cancer.

Craig:

He's still battling.

Craig:

And so I was, I was yearning for something else and that's when I started running and running marathons to be more precise.

Craig:

I had never been a runner before.

Craig:

So this was very expansive for me, but I was still at my business.

Craig:

Fast forward to pandemic and I just had that spiritual, awakening.

Craig:

I think the whole world really took a second to reassess, 'cause we didn't really have a choice, and I definitely made the most of it.

Craig:

And when I was able to get really quiet and connect for me, that was the creator, I was able to block out all the noise, all the judgments, all the personalities, and and just connect from my true essence, my being.

Craig:

And that's when the download started to come through, that I had been obsessed with personal development for 15 years.

Craig:

I just didn't think I was worthy of turning that into a career until I considered what else is possible.

Craig:

And so I put together a whole strategy, 10 Lane Highway book, coaching, speaking community, all the things, and step one, build a personal brand.

Craig:

Because it doesn't matter how good I might be able to be if there's nobody there to consume it.

Craig:

So it was at that moment that I started putting myself out there and for the first time in my life.

Craig:

I was in alignment and I say very humbly over the last three and a half years, the brand exploded.

Craig:

Left Wall Street for good, and this is it.

Lorin:

Often people ask me, and I'm sure they ask you the same, how do I find my purpose?

Lorin:

How do I find the deeper answers?

Lorin:

And what you were just describing in your journey is that you, even though so much noise was going on around you, you found the time and space, or you created the space internally to quiet everything down, let's call it entering stillness.

Lorin:

And as you entered stillness, deeper answers came.

Lorin:

And I believe so many people, they're looking for these deeper answers, but they're not, either not having the courage or not having the knowledge that what they need to do is create the internal space for the deeper answers to emerge from within.

Craig:

Brother, you nailed it, and I need to take accountability here because the truth of the matter is, is even though I had my own business on Wall Street and I was going 200 miles an hour a day, I still had the choice to stop and and take a moment, but I didn't.

Craig:

And so the pandemic, I should say the lockdown was kind of that forced reset.

Craig:

And so now knowing what I know, based upon my experience, I couldn't agree more.

Craig:

I would encourage everybody, especially listening to this podcast, create the time to disconnect from all the, the stuff and, and really just connect to whatever that is for you, stories, quantum creator, God, and that's when you're operating at your true stuff.

Craig:

The downloads can come through.

Craig:

But if you're not taking the time or making the time, it's very difficult to receive downloads because you're always worried about the next thing.

Craig:

And so for me, that's when I finally became crystal clear and now it's a part of my everyday routine is to be able to get quiet and be the channel for the divine downloads to come through.

Lorin:

Working in Wall Street, right?

Lorin:

That sounds like a very harsh, cold, emotionally disconnected, competitive environment.

Lorin:

What was your old understanding of masculinity and what is your new understanding of masculinity?

Craig:

Back then it was all about the grind, brother.

Craig:

It was about being the hardest worker in the room.

Craig:

I'll outwork anybody, this, that, and the other thing.

Craig:

And to be fair, that stuff can, it works for a little bit.

Craig:

It can get you so far.

Craig:

But none of that stuff will actually create lasting fulfillment.

Craig:

And just to be clear for anybody that might be reinventing themselves or starting something new in any capacity, I do believe in the beginning season it's very, very, very important to work really hard and get it off the ground.

Craig:

But that level of masculinity is Not sustainable, because you end up running yourself into the ground or burning out and realizing that the things I'm chasing will never help me achieve fulfillment.

Craig:

And so now I, I absolutely love to, blend the masculinity with the feminine.

Craig:

So yes, be intentional.

Craig:

set the, set the goals, do the things, but then surrender, flow, release, be able to be and allow the downloads to come in.

Craig:

And to be, to be honest, like I'm still on the journey, but I think it's very productive to have a healthy balance.

Craig:

Uh, being able to be intentional and go up your goals, but also be able to receive, to manifest and to create.

Craig:

And one of the ways to do that is to remove self-doubt.

Lorin:

There was one thing you mentioned about, um, that hard work is important.

Lorin:

I, I love that.

Lorin:

I say the same and I'm always, I find it always quite amusing when people say, you don't need to work hard.

Lorin:

You don't need to put in any work.

Lorin:

You just sit there and you visualize it and it will all come.

Lorin:

What do you say about that, about kind of the balance between the manifestation and about working hard?

Craig:

Yeah, brother.

Craig:

So I'm of the mindset that you can't leave life up to chance.

Craig:

You have to Be intentional with your life.

Craig:

But also you have to leave room to be able to create, manifest and all that stuff.

Craig:

If you're chasing money, for example, which is a fun topic, everybody can relate to that.

Craig:

But let's just say you're chasing abundance.

Craig:

From a consciousness of lack, you'll never really quite get there or you'll never get over the hump.

Craig:

You'll have subconscious resistance and so forth.

Craig:

But when you're chasing abundance from abundance, then there's, there's no limits in what you can create.

Craig:

And so it's so important to, to blend the, two.

Craig:

and I'll say this in regards to money, things, anything that anybody might, even relationships that might be chasing.

Craig:

We can't take anything with us when we die.

Craig:

It's not our bank account, our status, or power.

Craig:

So if we're not good enough without these things, we will never be good enough with them.

Craig:

So who we are in this world is really the sum total of light we have revealed through transformation.

Craig:

Once we start to really understand this and actually live this way, it's very, very, very liberating.

Craig:

So you have to find that blend in working hard.

Craig:

There's always a season for it, but also not creating subconscious resistance because you're coming from a place of fear to not have what you're chasing.

Lorin:

And this way also, the hard work is much more, it's almost like it's, it's comes from a deeper, more conscious place and you have more energy.

Lorin:

Whereas the other hard work that you're describing that comes from a place of lack, it just burns you out eventually.

Lorin:

It's like a fire that's just growing stronger, stronger, and stronger, and there is no containment.

Lorin:

You are a deeply devoted and committed man to your fiance and soon to be wife.

Lorin:

I want to ask you, what was that journey like for you to become a man who commits fully and who lives with full integrity?

Craig:

first and foremost, I think it's important to really understand what a soulmate is.

Craig:

I think there, based upon my spirituality and where I'm at now with my consciousness and my studies and my wisdom, I think that there's a misconception that if you're in a relationship and you're, and you're arguing it's bad.

Craig:

I would even go as far as to say, if you're in a relationship and you're not arguing at all, that's not your soulmate.

Craig:

That's a body mate.

Craig:

Because a real soulmate is here to challenge you, to trigger you, to make you become the best version of yourself for the relationship and also for you.

Craig:

And so a real soulmate will be able to press your buttons in a way that elevates you to become a better version.

Craig:

In regards to like integrity and stuff like that.

Craig:

Look, something that I've learned is as we're planning the wedding and so forth, my fiance, she grew up in Ukraine.

Craig:

She's been here since she was 14, but a totally different upbringing brother, as you can imagine.

Craig:

And so, especially when we're preparing for the wedding, you know, I really began to understand how different some of our core values are and stuff, and, and we're more opposite than I thought.

Craig:

But it's also a beautiful thing.

Craig:

You don't want to date yourself.

Craig:

right?

Craig:

And so I think that when you're going into relationship.

Craig:

there should be some non-negotiables, there should be some deal breakers and also some things that you're able to communicate and talk with that you would like better or that are priorities for you.

Craig:

Being able to really talk, go deep scuba, dive below the surface and get on the same page, everything.

Craig:

And in regards to, integrity, I think that, look, I know that like open relationships and stuff like that are a thing.

Craig:

I can only speak for myself.

Craig:

I think that.

Craig:

If you're not faithful in your marriage or if you have an open relationship, you basically have more than one desire.

Craig:

And I think life will teach us that if you have more than one desire, the desires become, diluted.

Craig:

So I think it's.

Craig:

important that if you're in a relationship, you make the other person your soulmate or, or your priority and so forth, and just do the right thing.

Craig:

I, I don't, I don't believe in keeping score.

Craig:

I don't think we could each go 50.

Craig:

I think we should each strive to go 110%.

Craig:

Not everyone's gonna be 110% all the time.

Craig:

Sometimes my fiance might be having a bad day.

Craig:

Let's just say she's at 60%.

Craig:

No problem.

Craig:

I got us.

Craig:

Sometimes it might be other way around.

Craig:

But I think it's important to.

Craig:

really have an understanding of.

Craig:

What is marriage to you and why is it important?

Craig:

Because you don't need a legal document to tell you that you love your your partner, right?

Craig:

So the concept of marriage and being in a relationship has to be able to connect to you, and it does for me personally, I'm super excited for this season of life.

Lorin:

And I'm really excited for you, and I completely agree.

Lorin:

It's about the energy of what you create.

Lorin:

And I, I love what you say here, defining marriage and the importance of that.

Lorin:

One of the things I want to emphasize here and really focus on as well is this path of learning to commit ourselves fully.

Lorin:

This level of being so intentional and really every day choosing our beloved wholeheartedly.

Lorin:

Was that something that came naturally to you or was that something you had to learn?

Lorin:

Did you have to go through a sort of awakening to get to this level?

Craig:

I'm gonna say something that I've definitely never said before.

Craig:

I don't think up until this point, me or my fiance, were in a really healthy relationship, and there are many reasons for that.

Craig:

We have to take some responsibility too.

Craig:

I wasn't my best self and obviously the partners were probably not the right choices.

Craig:

But now with my fiance, when we crossed each other's paths by no coincidences, just right away it was just different.

Craig:

She's beautiful on the outside and, and very obviously she's stunning.

Craig:

But for me, I felt the connection to her soul and, and, and just her, her personality, um, her core values, the closeness with her family.

Craig:

I, I just, I loved it.

Craig:

And so for me to commit to her to be my one partner when we get married for the rest of our life, God willing, that's easy peasy.

Craig:

for me.

Craig:

Now I know there's listeners listening.

Craig:

Well, you know, uh, it's not natural to want to be with one person for the rest of your life.

Craig:

I, I understand that, right?

Craig:

It's like the, the law of diminishing returns.

Craig:

In other words, like let's say you have a.

Craig:

Your favorite meal, the cheeseburger on Monday.

Craig:

It's unbelievable.

Craig:

You love it.

Craig:

On Tuesday, you have the same cheeseburger, still great.

Craig:

On Wednesday.

Craig:

The cheeseburger didn't change, but you're a little used to it.

Craig:

So I understand that monogamy has its challenges, but again, you gotta commit and buy into why the relationship is important to you, why you want to get married, what this really means.

Craig:

And so for me, with my partner now where I'm at in this season of life with my consciousness.

Craig:

it's very easy to commit and I'm very excited about it.

Lorin:

I really appreciate your vulnerability here in sharing this.

Lorin:

Commitment issues and struggle with integrity is one of the biggest challenges specifically for men.

Lorin:

That's why when any, with any men's group I work with, before we go deep into the spiritual practices and stuff, the first key focus is integrity, taking responsibility and commitment.

Lorin:

And what I see in you, and I've got a, I've got a theory that's my own experience, but my theory is that this relates to everyone.

Lorin:

People like you, people like me, who make that deep internal choice to commit to our wife, your, your soon to be wife for you, um, wholeheartedly, at the deepest level, it just shifts something within you.

Lorin:

It it, it shifts something deep within us.

Lorin:

It's an initiatory process that really allows a man to really step into his power.

Lorin:

Because what I have noticed, men who never take, make that decision, who never have that sense of clarity in their intimate life, they're often missing something, they're missing something deeper within, it's almost like a deeper sense of confidence, strength, power, inspiration, love that is born from that.

Craig:

I could not agree more, and I think for any man, but specifically for men that have felt called to change the world, like the work that you're doing.

Craig:

It's not only a benefit to have a partner in our corner that is our rock, and that can elevate us, it's actually a prerequisite.

Craig:

We must have someone at home that supports us and can elevate us.

Craig:

Not like we need them to do work for us, just emotionally and spiritually have our back, that takes us to a whole nother level.

Lorin:

What I've seen also, I'm sure you work with very, you work with very successful individuals.

Lorin:

I know you do.

Lorin:

I work with some people who are very successful.

Lorin:

And when they don't have this relationship, this kind of level of depth in their intimate life, then they, they run a company with 200 people, they're, they're crushing it all day long.

Lorin:

But at the end of the day, suddenly, when they're no longer in business, no longer in go, go, go, go, go mode, they sit down and suddenly this deep sense of emptiness comes, this deep sense of insecurity.

Lorin:

And that's, that's always a picture that was always with me.

Lorin:

Do you want to die an old man, never ha having tasted the true depths of love?

Lorin:

Or do you want to die knowing you have love to the fullest?

Lorin:

And at least you and me, we believe or we know monogamy is our way.

Lorin:

Maybe some people have a different opinion.

Lorin:

I'm not here to judge anyone's path, but that is our path to taste the true depths of love.

Lorin:

So.

Craig:

And, and real quickly, brother, just on that, like I just wanna say to everybody, when you really open your heart, there is no guarantee that it won't get broken or get hurt.

Craig:

But I promise you, and I know Lorin can attest, it's worth it.

Lorin:

Absolutely.

Lorin:

I, I so agree with everything.

Lorin:

Now, Craig, what would you say to people who have a bigger dream, a bigger source mission?

Lorin:

They want to be coaches, entrepreneurs facilitators, speakers, create their own personal brand, yet they feel stuck in self-doubt.

Lorin:

They've got a really nice, secure, comfortable job, and they're afraid they, they won't make it.

Lorin:

They're afraid that they're going to fail.

Lorin:

And perhaps even people close to them, their own limitations are being projected onto them.

Lorin:

They say, no, you can't do it.

Lorin:

Now is not a good time.

Lorin:

It's not going to work.

Lorin:

What would you say to someone who is in this position right now?

Craig:

First and foremost, I believe that the sole purpose has two parts.

Craig:

This is just my belief.

Craig:

One of 'em is its transformation of its negativity.

Craig:

And, and spoiler alert, we all have it in us.

Craig:

We wanna transform that layer by layer.

Craig:

In other words, we are here to correct and transform our negative tendencies.

Craig:

In Kabbalah, which is something I studied, we call it a koon and most likely different conversation.

Craig:

I dunno how deep you want to get today, but we've probably been carrying these things that need to be corrected for lifetimes.

Craig:

And the good thing is, is people will show up in your life and they'll either be a mirror of what you need to change or trigger something in you that probably needs to be corrected, so I would encourage everybody to begin to get curious about what triggers you, just might be an invitation to your mastery.

Craig:

The second part of the soul's purpose, I believe, which is more what you were talking about, is to actualize its unique way of bringing light to the world.

Craig:

That unique gift that you have and only you have, and bringing that to the world.

Craig:

And we all have 'em, and they're not our gifts that were given to us.

Craig:

We're the manager of them, and It's, on us to share that with the world.

Craig:

That's how we're actually gonna achieve fulfillment and be able to make the biggest dent in the universe.

Craig:

And so if you have imposter syndrome or if you have doubt, I, I wanna let you guys know you absolutely have something special inside you.

Craig:

And I would, I would Never stop trying to identify what that is and to be able to share it.

Craig:

Doesn't necessarily mean you have to be an entrepreneurial coach speaker, but you have a gift.

Craig:

And it's on us to share it.

Craig:

And for those of you guys that are listening right now, like, okay, this sounds pretty deep and great, but like, how do I even begin?

Craig:

I wanna give your listeners three very powerful questions that you can ask yourself today, and I would encourage everybody to write these down.

Craig:

Number one, what can I choose now?

Craig:

Forget about the judgments, the personalities, limiting beliefs, all the BS.

Craig:

We've already played that game.

Craig:

We know how that goes.

Craig:

What can you choose?

Craig:

Number two, what can I be now, right?

Craig:

So if you're taking away all these judgments, all these limiting beliefs that life has created, whatever, what can you be right now?

Craig:

And then number three, what's possible that I've never considered before?

Craig:

And once you go in that frequency and you start picking outside the box, now all of a sudden we begin to think about our gifts, our purpose, and now we have some momentum.

Craig:

But it's very, very important to take the time and to ask yourself these very powerful questions.

Lorin:

What I love about these questions, Craig, is that they go deep.

Lorin:

They really go deep and that is what we need.

Lorin:

And, and one other thing I want to add here as well, this is my firm belief that it's impossible to fail when you go all in on, on your calling.

Lorin:

It's impossible.

Lorin:

There is no such thing as a person who has a calling, but in the end it doesn't work out, it completely falls apart, they lose everything and that's it.

Lorin:

Such a story does not exist.

Lorin:

Something happened along the way where they gave into self-doubt.

Lorin:

Something happened along the way where they refuse to face some deeper pain within themselves.

Craig:

I could not agree more if I'm being honest.

Craig:

And now I, I imagine there's someone listening and they're saying, okay, easy for you guys to say, you guys found your calling, but they haven't.

Craig:

That's why they're listening to your podcast to kind of reveal some light.

Craig:

What would you say to someone that's saying, okay, well how do I identify my calling to go all in on it?

Lorin:

It goes back to what we said at the beginning of the conversation.

Lorin:

Thank you, and for bringing this up.

Lorin:

It's allowing these deeper questions, so creating the space for deeper answers to emerge the topic we first focused on.

Lorin:

And what this really means is when you don't know what your calling is, then your calling is to find your calling.

Lorin:

So, so number one, the calling is already there.

Lorin:

You've got your calling already.

Lorin:

It's to find it.

Lorin:

So how are you actively creating the space and making it your highest priority?

Lorin:

And again, there won't be a story where a person may finding their calling the highest priority and they haven't found it.

Lorin:

So once again, the same applies, if you make it your highest priority, you are going to find it.

Lorin:

Really, really be honest with yourself.

Lorin:

Are you going into deep nature?

Lorin:

Are you saying, you know what, I'm gonna take five days and be in deep nature?

Lorin:

Or maybe not drastic, you just spend one or two hours in nature.

Lorin:

But this, this level of hunger, this level of I'm gonna do whatever it needs, and if what I need to do right now is to create a space for the deeper answers to emerge as Craig was sharing, then that is the calling.

Craig:

And then it ties back to what you said.

Craig:

Once you identify your calling and you go all in it, you cannot fail because if you're spiritual, you believe in something bigger.

Craig:

And to me, being spiritual just means that you believe there's something else going on here beyond our logic.

Craig:

And if you can, if you can subscribe to that, I'm telling you when you go on in your calling, you will receive surprise, support, blessings, miracles, and opportunities will come that you didn't necessarily have on your whiteboard.

Lorin:

You just talked about this, believing and knowing that there is something bigger than ourselves.

Lorin:

For me, unless we are tapped into that, life is pure pain.

Lorin:

It's pure misery.

Lorin:

Because life is scarcity.

Lorin:

Life is fear.

Lorin:

Ultimately, I could always fail.

Lorin:

I can always fall apart.

Lorin:

It might always not work out.

Lorin:

But the moment you tap into, for everyone listening, what Craig just described.

Lorin:

Like you have that deeper level of knowing that you are going to be fine right?

Lorin:

And, and that's, that's not conceptually because I, in the past told myself this shit conceptually, like, oh yeah, I'm gonna be fine.

Lorin:

But I didn't feel it in my body.

Lorin:

How were you able to really bring it from a conceptual knowing to an embodied feeling where you know in your body you are going to be fucking fine?

Craig:

I think that most people have confidence and self-belief, which are great, but that's one level.

Craig:

A knowing is a whole different level.

Craig:

That's when you're connected.

Craig:

And if you ever don't have a knowing, that means there's a little bit of room for self-doubt.

Craig:

And if there's self-doubt, you're delaying your manifestations and what you can create.

Craig:

So here's what I would say to that.

Craig:

Unlike knowledge, the knowing that you have access to is limitless, right?

Craig:

Because your knowledge might be just what you've consumed up until now in the human experience.

Craig:

But when you have a knowing, that means you're connected and that is infinite wisdom and downloads ready to come through the channel.

Craig:

So I would ask everybody, what do you pretend not to know that if you did know would change everything?

Craig:

And I think it's pretty safe to say that there's something much bigger than us that has been guiding our life.

Craig:

And if we can connect to that and we can go over tools and and tangibles how to create a better connection, then you're the channel for the downloads.

Craig:

And you'll never really have too much self-doubt because you know everything.

Craig:

That happens one way or the other, even if it doesn't feel like it at first.

Craig:

Is going to be net positive for you.

Craig:

so it's the knowing is the byproduct of having a strong connection with something bigger.

Craig:

than just what's going on Here.

Craig:

in the 1%, 3D reality.

Lorin:

I also tie this into the need to control.

Lorin:

Unless you know you are trying to control it all.

Lorin:

There was a huge struggle of mine.

Lorin:

Trying to control everything because I believed or had this idea, or I know better than life.

Lorin:

This sense of entitlement or perhaps arrogance, ignorance, um, unconsciously, of course, oh, I'm gonna try to control everything I'm doing this and that.

Lorin:

I'm doing that.

Lorin:

And when I let go of that, when I let go of the need to control and just focused on the energy on how I'm showing up, everything shifted.

Craig:

When, when you start showing up in that capacity, when you surrender and, and also be intentional and buy in, there's, there's nothing that, that can't be achieved.

Craig:

And, and a lot of it has to do with energy, right?

Craig:

Like waking up and just being intentional with your life.

Craig:

For anyone that's out there, that's in a little bit of a rut right now, what can you do today to be a little bit proactive, not just leave life up to chance?

Craig:

I think that most people are reactive.

Craig:

They're reactive to judgments, reactive to the consequence of the day of traffic on in New York City.

Craig:

They're always a victim, so to speak.

Craig:

And I've been there myself.

Craig:

But when you, when you assume the consciousness of it's up to me, let me transform from reactive to proactive, now you're tapped into the system of miracles.

Craig:

When you have the right consciousness and you share without an agenda, when you do the right thing without needing recognition, that's when the blessings begin to come, and that's when you can't be stopped.

Lorin:

I love what you're sharing, and when you talked about traffic being a victim, I just received two parking fines.

Lorin:

And I could feel in my moment this sensation of fuck.

Lorin:

And then in that moment.

Lorin:

Yeah, that's exactly what you're describing.

Lorin:

So that happens.

Lorin:

Two traffic fines.

Lorin:

I get emotionally reactive.

Lorin:

I lose myself in that.

Lorin:

Rest of the day, is then spent in that energy and we're no longer able to tap into the field of limitless possibilities.

Craig:

Yeah.

Craig:

Not only that.

Craig:

But you'll end up being, attracting and being a mirror for that energy with other people in your movie, so to speak, will come back to you.

Craig:

So, and, and let me be very clear, this is very challenging.

Craig:

It's a lifelong transformation.

Craig:

So the best thing you could do when something like that happens, someone cuts you off, or you traffic or park a ticket, or your spouse says something that triggers you.

Craig:

Best thing to do.

Craig:

Pause.

Craig:

Don't react.

Craig:

Don't do anything right away.

Craig:

You'll notice that the seas will begin to part, it'll calm down a little bit, and then from that consciousness, now you can proactively respond or do whatever it is that you want to, but It's a different consciousness than always reacting.

Lorin:

We're talking about your, ultimately for everyone listening is the mastery of energy.

Lorin:

You said it already.

Lorin:

Energy is everything.

Lorin:

This is an a game of energy at the end of the day, how we manage our energy is, is ultimately everything.

Lorin:

What are some of the things you do practice wise, when you notice your energies is off, when you notice there is a trigger, what are some of the simple practices you do to tap back into your powerful or abundant energy?

Craig:

Yeah, so, so first of all, I think the awareness, I think Einstein might have said everything is energy and, and that's all there is to it.

Craig:

And so right away, if we know that, and just to be clear guys, for, for the audience and listeners, what Lorin and I are speaking about is not philosophy.

Craig:

This is actually physics, right?

Craig:

Everything is energy, even our thoughts.

Craig:

That's why when people say everything is created twice, first in our mind and then in the, the reality, the 3D world.

Craig:

And so now that we know that if we're ever not getting.

Craig:

The results that we desire, that's great feedback that something's off our energy must be off right?

Craig:

Now, if we're attracting a parking ticket, right?

Craig:

Or if we're attracting.

Craig:

Um, some with the cut us off or a client to leave us or whatever, let's right away assume ownership and accountability.

Craig:

What did I do to maybe create that situation.

Craig:

And so this goes back to having a system having tools in place.

Craig:

What can you do to elevate your vibration to sustain it at a level that is in manifesting mode, creation mode and not lack?

Craig:

And, and anytime that you do feel lack or you do feel the urge to get angry or something of the nature and react, what a gift.

Craig:

Because I believe that's the opponent inside our mind, which is providing an opportunity for us to practice our greatest superpower, which is restriction.

Craig:

Don't react.

Craig:

Now we have an ability to overcome that challenge and we convert that pressure into our next level of expansion.

Craig:

So.

Craig:

With no opponent, there's no game to win.

Craig:

And I believe the opponent's there to not react and to provide us opportunities to overcome.

Craig:

And every time we do that, we remove a layer off of our light.

Craig:

We shine a little brighter, meaning we're more connected, more tapped in, miracles, blessings, manifestations, all that stuff.

Craig:

So anytime that happens, what an opportunity, what can I do to be proactive here and not reactive?

Lorin:

Spirituality and business.

Lorin:

I can see that a lot of people are almost like compartmentalizing this tool.

Lorin:

There's business, there's marketing, there's building a personal brand, and they have a really dense energy around that.

Lorin:

It's dense.

Lorin:

It's really, really, it's challenging.

Lorin:

And then there is spirituality, very air and oh, spirituality.

Lorin:

I always say the two are one and the same.

Lorin:

What do you say about combining or the interwoven, interwoven or interconnectedness of spirituality and business?

Craig:

There is a consciousness with, with everything but specifically your business.

Craig:

It has a pulse as an energy behind it, and there is absolutely spirituality in your business.

Craig:

For example, for someone that's doing the right things and really sharing.

Craig:

And helping more opportunities will be presented, right?

Craig:

So more clients, more services, or more companies wanna sponsor you, whatever the case may be, because you're in alignment, you're in flow, and you're doing the right things from the correct consciousness.

Craig:

However, if you're all about the money and, and to be clear, unapologetically, we should desire it to make a ton of money 'cause we could do great things with it.

Craig:

I just don't think it should be the sole motivation.

Craig:

So, look, there's a lot of spiritual laws, right?

Craig:

Let's just say you close a client verbally, and all of a sudden you're slapping fives with your teammates.

Craig:

You're telling everyone, more than likely something's gonna happen where that money's not gonna hit the account or they'll back out or something.

Craig:

So I, first of all, I think being quiet is one of the best things you could do really in the world.

Craig:

And, and just keep it to yourself and don't get too excited until the money hits the account.

Craig:

And you wanna help people without the agenda that they need to do something from you.

Craig:

From that consciousness, you will keep the flow going.

Craig:

What kind of flow?

Craig:

More clients, more money, more revenue.

Craig:

Everything will be great.

Craig:

And also, you don't need everyone to say thank you or great job.

Craig:

You don't need recognition.

Craig:

Stay in your lane.

Craig:

Keep helping whatever your service, your gift, your product is, share it with people.

Craig:

Share the wisdom and the ultimate goal, whatever it is that you do should be for your clients or your audience or your community to take what they're learned and continue to share with the world, and then it will keep going.

Craig:

But the moment that you begin to operate from ego, right?

Craig:

You're counting every dollar or caring about what people say, or you're only doing this for the wrong reasons, or it's all about the money, then you cut off the flow, the bloodline of more coming in.

Craig:

In spirituality, specifically Kabbalah, I think this is in other religions too.

Craig:

Kabbalah is not a religion, spirituality, but I know there's a thing called tithing.

Craig:

And essentially in tithing, the concept is is to give away 10 of your income to a cause that you feel connected to.

Craig:

And and here's the interesting part, it's not so that you can.

Craig:

Just be, you know, charitable and donate.

Craig:

It's to get rid of the 10% of the opponent, of the ego, of the negativity.

Craig:

So for example, let's say you had a, a barrel of apples.

Craig:

And one apple out of 10 was rotten.

Craig:

More than likely, eventually the 10 will become rotten.

Craig:

So you want to get rid of that, keep the flow going, and then creator from that consciousness will be your silent partner and make sure the flow continues.

Craig:

So really what I'm saying in a kind of a long-winded answer is it's the consciousness behind how you operate your business.

Lorin:

And I also can see that their limiting beliefs people have about, for instance, marketing, about sales, about all these things, a judgment, a projection towards that, oh, that's not spiritual, that's not this, that's not that.

Lorin:

Which is ultra limiting at the end of the day because everything is spiritual based on what you are just sharing.

Lorin:

What I'm hearing is you make it spiritual.

Lorin:

It's about the energy you bring to it, and, and that's, that's the energy it embodies.

Lorin:

If you bring an energy of, oh, this is not spiritual, this is bad, this is dense, this is really hard, then of course it's going to be hard.

Lorin:

It's going to be immensely challenging.

Lorin:

But what I love about this, we're already talking about, I wanted to ask you about abundance, your guiding principles.

Lorin:

What I'm already hearing here is that you bring spirituality into everything.

Lorin:

Absolutely everything you do.

Craig:

A hundred percent.

Craig:

Everything.

Craig:

And, and look, I didn't operate this way for a very long time and the results of my life spoke for themselves.

Craig:

But when you're really connected, and, and again, this isn't like, oh, I'm gonna fix this today.

Craig:

It's a lifelong transformation.

Craig:

But when you continue to go to new levels of diversion of you, and to be clear, like.

Craig:

I don't wanna be the next Tony Robbins, Lorin doesn't wanna be the next so and so.

Craig:

We want to be the top of us, whatever that looks like.

Craig:

We don't wanna compare ourselves.

Craig:

But as we continue to ascend to new levels of expansion, then we're able to operate from a different consciousness.

Craig:

And when your consciousness is continue to be elevated, the opponent or the ego doesn't even have air up there.

Craig:

That's the key.

Craig:

And so, yeah, I bring consciousness to every single thing they do.

Craig:

And sometimes I have to catch myself, right?

Craig:

Because we are having a human experience.

Craig:

Sometimes you judge someone in your head, or you feel judged or you care what somebody thinks, or maybe you do something looking for recognition.

Craig:

You have to catch yourself, and as long as you continuously work on it, work on it, you'll keep the flow going.

Craig:

But I would encourage everybody to operate at a higher consciousness with everything that you do specifically in relationships in business.

Lorin:

You left Wall Street during the pandemic.

Lorin:

You were able to build a thriving business and personal brand in a very short amount of time.

Lorin:

Now, there will be people listening here right now who want to be coaches, entrepreneurs want to start a business and there will be people around them, let's call it the naysayers or the critics who have some very powerful, logical kind of arguments against it.

Lorin:

One of the things I always hear is now is not the time.

Lorin:

That stuff worked 10 years ago, 15 years ago.

Lorin:

It won't work right now, right?

Lorin:

So what I'm seeing here with you is you.

Lorin:

It were able to do it in a short amount of time because you were doing it from a higher state of consciousness, where you were able to create much more rapid results because the opportunities and the flow of energy was so to speak there.

Lorin:

You were tapped into it.

Lorin:

What would you say to people, to the naysayers who, who still believe in these kind of ideas of now is not a good time or the market or, or inflation.

Lorin:

I can't do it now.

Lorin:

Maybe 10 years ago it worked, but it won't work now.

Lorin:

What, what would you say to these people if they were in front of you

Craig:

I, I know they're out there 'cause I used to be them.

Craig:

Look, there's no such thing as the perfect time.

Craig:

Everybody's looking for what you have to add to be more successful.

Craig:

Let's talk about some things we can let go of.

Craig:

Waiting for the perfect time, showing up to the world in a way that's not authentic to who you really are.

Craig:

You need to let go of these things.

Craig:

You have to give yourself permission to take messy action.

Craig:

It doesn't take time, it just takes alignment.

Craig:

And for me, I had the same limiting beliefs at 35 years young, the pandemic, I had no following, no celebrity friends, no connection, think I had 300 Instagram followers, but I believe so strongly in this connection that this was my mission.

Craig:

And so I set up a plan.

Craig:

I didn't wanna rely upon one way to make an impact.

Craig:

So I created a 10 lane highway with each lane in my highway representing a different way to make an impact for the first three years.

Craig:

For example, coaching, speaking, podcast, book deal, TED talk community, all the things.

Craig:

I reverse engineered.

Craig:

And I started my personal brand and started putting myself out there.

Craig:

Now that was the, the tactical approach.

Craig:

The spiritual approach was for the first three months, I didn't care about monetizing.

Craig:

I just wanted to build a community and add value.

Craig:

That's all I want to do is to make sure people were connecting with it, and resonating with it.

Craig:

And then once I started to get a lot of momentum, then I created my first offer and then another, and then scaled this, that, and the other thing.

Craig:

But I think it's so important once you have the game plan to operate from the correct conscious in actually wanting to share and help people and add value, and it kind of reminds me of what you said earlier.

Craig:

If you operate from that consciousness, go all in in your calling, you cannot lose.

Craig:

Because if it's the correct consciousness, opportunities will come to you that you might not have seen coming.

Craig:

But the moment that you have an agenda, I wanna make 20 grand next week, or I wanna make a hundred grand next month, now all of a sudden your intentions are a little skewed.

Craig:

So I'm not saying don't want to make money, absolutely you should, but come at it with the right conscience to share, to help, to support.

Craig:

And then you marry that with the practical and the opportunities will be absolutely endless.

Lorin:

You also spoke about service there, that when you are truly wanting to give value to people, that they can feel it.

Lorin:

This is an energy that's palpable.

Lorin:

I feel that energy in you.

Lorin:

I know that energy.

Lorin:

That's the energy I'm tapped in.

Lorin:

And it's, it's what I did started with, I just want to fucking serve.

Lorin:

I didn't even know what I was going to do, relationships awakened, mask awake.

Lorin:

I had no idea about any that I will ever do anything along those lines.

Lorin:

But I knew one fucking thing.

Lorin:

I knew.

Lorin:

I am going to serve no matter what it takes.

Lorin:

And if that's all I do in this life, so be it.

Lorin:

I die a happy man.

Lorin:

And I sense the same with you.

Lorin:

You didn't leave your job in Wall Street because you wanted to make X amount of money and you all, because you made great money or you wanted fame or any recognition, you did it because you wanted to serve, you wanted to give value to people, and then the abundance naturally came.

Craig:

You nailed it.

Craig:

And, and it, it has to be in that order.

Craig:

And you're right.

Craig:

I was making a lot of money on Wall Street, and interestingly enough, I'm making more money now than I've made in my life, but it's a byproduct of being in alignment and sharing the wisdom.

Craig:

When you share your wisdom with other people, you help them reveal their light, and when you help them reveal their light in return, you reveal your own light, meaning more connected.

Craig:

You're the channel downloads money and all that stuff.

Craig:

So if your first agenda and only agenda is to share with not needing anything in return, interestingly enough, you'll get everything in return.

Lorin:

And this is such a powerful distinction you make.

Lorin:

You said, let's say for a moment, if you would've said during your job in Wall Street, I wanna make triple the amount I'm making in Wall Street, and that's why I am gonna build a personal brand right now, it wouldn't have been possible.

Lorin:

It wouldn't have been possible to build what you have built.

Lorin:

Last two questions for you here, brother.

Lorin:

What was the most uncomfortable truth you had to face in your path of healing and awakening?

Craig:

I was significantly underachieving with my life at 35 in all the areas, emotionally, spiritually, financially, impact and fulfillment and contribution, most importantly, and it was nobody's fault but my own.

Craig:

And once I accepted that I wasn't where I'd hoped I'd been four years ago.

Craig:

I didn't love that, but I accepted it and, and once I accepted it, it was like I, I turned around and, and cut off like a, a submarine that was attached to my shirt.

Craig:

I just felt light free and I was like, now it's a clean slate.

Craig:

We don't wanna approve of where we're at, but we accept it.

Craig:

Now, how can we be better?

Craig:

How can we tune into a different narrative?

Craig:

And that's when it all started coming together.

Craig:

So I think accountability and responsibility and quite frankly, owning your shit is probably priority number one before you could begin to go into those share with the world.

Lorin:

And there's a powerful distinction because when we face this really uncomfortable wounding and, and, and darker shadows and pain inside us, it is very uncomfortable, it's not fun, it's not joyful, and you can't just say, oh, yeah, be grateful or no, it's, it's not that a big a deal.

Lorin:

It is a big, big of a deal.

Lorin:

It is intense.

Lorin:

It really is intense, but if you accept it, then there is so much power in that.

Craig:

It's the hardest work that you'll ever do, but it also brings you peace, and now it opens up for why you're really here.

Lorin:

Where can people find you and do you have any upcoming offerings, um, that you want to mention
