God. Isaiah 41:13. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 8 of 30 Days of Pushing Back Fear. Sometimes staring into the unknown triggers our deepest fears. We can’t see the bottom of the pool. We can’t see into the dark forest shadows. We don’t know if our child’s care giver should be trusted with our precious child. We don’t know when the market will tank. If a person stops too long, there’s enough to shake the confidence of any of us. That’s the open secret in this text: God’s offered to walk into that unknown with us—holding hands, our hand in his. Then, whatever shows its face, God shows up with you, in the middle of it, with his mighty, sustaining strength.
