For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Jesus. Matthew 6:13. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 17 of 30 Days of Prayer. Kingdom. Power. Glory. In concluding his example prayer, Jesus turns our minds back to the One who’s power sustains and presence comforts us. Drawing our hearts full circle from beginning with a vision of God, to ending with one. And with a vision that puts all the glory for success in our lives back on the One to whom we owe it. No, we have not by great strategy, diligent effort or many prayers brought about the goodness that is blossoming in our lives. This is all of God’s work in us, as we’ve opened our hearts to the possibility. So Jesus invites us to take specific time in prayer reflecting on the reality that all we have and hope for is centered in the One who’s put all of eternity on the line for us.
