Welcome to Power Hour, where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Kylie Terradez, and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.
Speaker A:Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.
Speaker A:Let's get started.
Speaker A:And so today I'm actually teaching from the healing module three on Power Academy and lesson one.
Speaker A:And this is very practical.
Speaker A:This is a very practical part of the healing module.
Speaker A:We've done the healing modules one and two and they've been about 16 weeks worth.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So you can go back and you can look at those ones.
Speaker A:If you're joining us for the first time today, you're going to be thinking, why is she talking about ministering healing to others?
Speaker A:Well, if you want to go back and research those yourself and pull up those videos, you can do that in your own time.
Speaker A:It's very easy to join Power Academy.
Speaker A:Literally just takes an email.
Speaker A:And also it's great because you can go on there and you can get the notes for today's lesson and you can follow along yourself.
Speaker A:So the team have put a link on the comments there.
Speaker A:How to enroll in Power Academy just takes a moment and it's learn.teradays.com and then you can download the notes.
Speaker A:Okay, but like I said, we've been going through these last two modules and that's really been about receiving manifestations of healing for ourselves.
Speaker A:But you know, something very powerful happens when we start to think beyond our own needs to the needs of the people around us.
Speaker A:And, you know, there is a benefit for you also.
Speaker A:So I'm going to get into that in a moment.
Speaker A:But before we start, let's just, let's just pray.
Speaker A:Father God, I thank you that you're here with us today, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you that you have given us just such wisdom and revelation, such amazing resources.
Speaker A:The word of God, Lord, is open to us to learn and receive.
Speaker A:And Holy Spirit, we just ask you that you be our teacher today, that you help us, that you give us ears to hear and a mind to understand and a heart to receive.
Speaker A:Everything you have for us today in Jesus name, Amen.
Speaker A:Awesome.
Speaker A:Well, last week we gave away brain training.
Speaker A:We talked about mental health, receiving healing from mental health.
Speaker A:And so we gave away this teaching, brain training.
Speaker A:And I got some winners.
Speaker A:Let me get my note up and I'll tell you who they are.
Speaker A:How, when is the last week?

Speaker A:Congratulations to Hannah Scott and the MP3.
Speaker A:The download is going to go to Janice Widgren from Sweden.

Speaker A:If you're on Facebook, share it to your Facebook page.
Speaker A:And if you're on YouTube, press like and subscribe and then put it in the comments wherever you're watching that you shared it.
Speaker A:And then next week our team will go through and they look for all the people that shared it and they'll pick two winners from those people that shared it.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Liked and shared.
Speaker A:Joy says she has liked and shared it.
Speaker A:Linda says this is her first time from Nigeria.
Speaker A:Oh wonderful.
Speaker A:Listen, we even have something for first time people on here if you're watching for the first time.

Speaker A:And then after, after this live today, go there and you'll be able to fill out the form and get one of our booklets for free.
Speaker A:It's going to be awesome.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Awesome.
Speaker A:So, right, so today we're going to be talking about ministering healing to others.
Speaker A:This is, you know, this is something that kind of either really stirs you up and gets you excited or it's something that really terrifies you.
Speaker A:There's us like two camps of people here.
Speaker A:And I just want to say this to start with, you know, healing we've been teaching over the last just matter of months here and the character and nature of sickness.
Speaker A:Now, sickness and disease, I don't have time to go back and reteach all this, so I'm just, just gonna have to preface this a little bit, okay?
Speaker A:But sickness and disease is always from the enemy.
Speaker A:God never put sickness and disease on people.
Speaker A:We are not Old Testament believers.
Speaker A:We're living in a new covenant.
Speaker A:Jesus is our example.
Speaker A:Everywhere that he went, he was teaching, preaching and healing the sick.
Speaker A:Everywhere he went, he was, he was coming from healing somebody or he was on the way to healing somebody.
Speaker A:Healing is God's will for our life.
Speaker A:And sometimes we allow our previous experiences, negative experiences, to kind of get in the way of that truth.
Speaker A:But there is so much scriptural evidence for that.
Speaker A:And just looking at the life of Jesus, and that's our testimony, you know, Jesus never went around and put sickness on people, you know, to teach them something.
Speaker A:He never went around and said, you know, I'm not sure you're too bad, you've committed too much sin.
Speaker A:You're just, you know what, you're just a loser.
Speaker A:You know, there's no hope for you.
Speaker A:No, he went around and everyone that he met, everyone that wanted to receive healing, received healing from him.
Speaker A:Now, there's a couple of occasions where it says that he could not do many mighty works in that place except for heal a few people.
Speaker A:So healing really is a low bar to the promises of God.
Speaker A:It should be really foundational, elementary, simple in the life of a believer.
Speaker A:It should be normal every day.
Speaker A:And so for so many of us, that is far from normal on every day.
Speaker A:Because maybe we're just surrounded by sickness.
Speaker A:Maybe the culture that we've grown up in or our previous experience or even the church that we attend doesn't see healing on a regular basis.
Speaker A:Just because your church doesn't see healing on a regular basis doesn't mean Healing isn't available.
Speaker A:You know, many times in the scriptures it says Jesus healed them all.
Speaker A:You know, people came from far and wide to hear and to be healed.
Speaker A:So there was always healing power available for people, but there was a response required.
Speaker A:And even though healing power was available for everyone through Jesus Christ, whether people received or not know they had a part to play in that.
Speaker A:Jesus wasn't just, you know, we, we can't be just passive, right?
Speaker A:Jesus isn't deciding who gets healed and who doesn't.
Speaker A:He's already, he's already made the deposit.
Speaker A:He's already paid the price.
Speaker A:Healing is part of the atonement of Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:That's a big word that just means that Jesus paid for it.
Speaker A:Jesus paid for us to be well.
Speaker A:And it is God's will always for us to be well.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:There's no exceptions to that.
Speaker A:God's will is always.
Speaker A:Yes, it's always healing.
Speaker A:It's always now.
Speaker A:Now we can come up with a thousand different reasons why that might not happen instantaneously or we that has.
Speaker A:Why that hasn't been our experience.
Speaker A:But you know what?
Speaker A:Our experience isn't greater than the word of God.
Speaker A:And, and you know, the truth of God's word isn't going to bend to fit your reality.
Speaker A:And this is really important truth, the truth of God's word.
Speaker A:I'm going to say that again.
Speaker A:The truth of God's word doesn't bend to fit your reality.
Speaker A:The truth of God's word is true every time.
Speaker A:And, and healing is available for all of us today.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So whether you need healing for yourself or whether you're surrounded by people that need healing, you know what?
Speaker A:This is true for everyone.
Speaker A:And one thing that that sickness does, you know, it is, it is never from God.
Speaker A:It is always from the enemy and is always seen as a curse.
Speaker A:It's all sickness and disease.
Speaker A:If you read Deuteronomy, chapter 28, the second half of that chapter, you'll see all different kinds of sicknesses, and they're always listed as under the curses.
Speaker A:Now, those don't apply to us because of Galatians 3:13.
Speaker A:Galatians 3:13 says that Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Speaker A:He's hung on the tree.
Speaker A:He's redeemed us from the curse.
Speaker A:Sickness was a curse that Jesus redeemed us from.
Speaker A:And by his stripes on the cross we were healed.
Speaker A:And first Peter 2:24.
Speaker A:Okay, past tense.
Speaker A:So the payments already been made, the sacrifice has already been laid down.
Speaker A:The debt for Sin, the debt for sickness is already being paid for.
Speaker A:But you know one thing that sickness does, because it is from the enemy, it bears all of his character and his nature and his hallmarks.
Speaker A:So what does that mean?
Speaker A:Well, you know, we're born again believers.
Speaker A:And so we now have as part of our born again nature, we have the character and nature of God on the inside of us.
Speaker A:We have the fruits of the spirit on the inside of us.
Speaker A:We have the opportunity, no matter what the circumstances are to walk in love, enjoy, in peace, in faith, in meekness, in gentleness, in self control, goodness, kindness.
Speaker A:Man, we, we can walk in all of the fruits of the spirit.
Speaker A:We can choose to do that because we have the nature of God on the inside of us.
Speaker A:Well, sickness also has a nature just like our spirit bears the nature of God.
Speaker A:You know what our flesh can bear the nature of sin, it can bear the nature of lust.
Speaker A:It can bear nature that is prideful, right?
Speaker A:Nature that is angry or bitter or resentful.
Speaker A:That is the nature of the enemy in our flesh.
Speaker A:And you know, sickness is where it resides in the realm of our flesh or in the realm of our unrenewed soul.
Speaker A:Soul.
Speaker A:You know, we talked about this last week when we talked about mental health.
Speaker A:That your body is created with an immune system.
Speaker A:It has an ability to heal itself, but your soul does not.
Speaker A:Your soul needs to be renewed in order to find peace.
Speaker A:And so there is an opportunity there every any time where something is worldly in this world like our, you know, our actual physical flesh or, or unrenewed like our soul.
Speaker A:And the enemy has opportunity to creep in there and, and demonstrate and exude some of that unrenewed nature which is the nature of the enemy.
Speaker A:And this is where sickness creeps in.
Speaker A:And sickness bearing the hallmarks of the enemy.
Speaker A:It's very self centered.
Speaker A:And you know, I've been, you know, I was somebody that for, for years suffered with, I'm talking about decades suffered with chronic sicknesses.
Speaker A:And one thing I've noticed with, with chronic sickness particularly, it is very selfish.
Speaker A:In, in, in that sense.
Speaker A:That means that it's always concerned about itself.
Speaker A:It's always thinking, you know, about itself, about, you know, a pain.
Speaker A:Just think about how selfish pain is.
Speaker A:Pain wants all of your attention.
Speaker A:Pain wants all of your money.
Speaker A:It wants to ruin your day.
Speaker A:It wants to give you, you know, just so many limitations in life.
Speaker A:It wants to give you a bad attitude, right?
Speaker A:If you're in pain, you can be grouchy.
Speaker A:I mean, you just think about how selfish in that sense?
Speaker A:Pain on the inside of our body, when we have an ache or a pain, it doesn't care what someone else is thinking.
Speaker A:That pain doesn't care for somebody else.
Speaker A:That pain doesn't think about anybody outside of, you know, our own flesh.
Speaker A:No, that pain is selfish.
Speaker A:It's self centered, it's inward looking.
Speaker A:And, and, and this is another thing that sickness wants to do.
Speaker A:It wants to isolate you.
Speaker A:You know, and I think back to the COVID years, which I can't believe it was like six years ago now.
Speaker A:That's just absolutely crazy to me how quickly that time has gone.
Speaker A:But you know, one, one thing that happened during COVID was there, there was a mass isolation of people.
Speaker A:And that's what sickness does.
Speaker A:That's a hallmark of the enemy.
Speaker A:The, the enemy always comes to cause division.
Speaker A:He comes to cause separation.
Speaker A:He comes to cause isolation.
Speaker A:And so when these, you know, these laws and these edicts come out, you know, to telling people, you know, you can't have community, you can't have fellowship, that should be a red flag right away, right?
Speaker A:When, when, when, when people are trying to be separated from one another and cause that isolation, because that is a hallmark of something that the enemy is doing.
Speaker A:But God always brings people back together.
Speaker A:God always brings people into family.
Speaker A:It says in, in psalms that he sets the lonely into families.
Speaker A:He sets the isolated into families, right?
Speaker A:He, God is a God of community.
Speaker A:He's a God of togetherness.
Speaker A:He's an inclusive God that brings everyone together.
Speaker A:In, in.
Speaker A:There is a commanded blessing even on unity.
Speaker A:So it's completely the opposite side.
Speaker A:Sickness will never bring unity.
Speaker A:Sickness will never, will never bring togetherness.
Speaker A:It only ever brings isolation.
Speaker A:And so it bears all of the character and nature of the enemy.
Speaker A:And here's another thing that that does.
Speaker A:It will feed you a lie that if you're dealing with sickness in your own body, that you cannot go and minister healing to other people.
Speaker A:You know, let's just, let's just break this down for a moment, okay?
Speaker A:Because I think this is part of the reason why people back on.
Speaker A:And there's many reasons, but this is one of the many reasons why people back off of healing ministry in our churches and in our communities today is because they, they feel like a fraud.
Speaker A:They feel like, well, how can I pray for healing for somebody else if I have a problem in my own body?
Speaker A:I just feel like a fraud.
Speaker A:And you know, that would be true.
Speaker A:You would be a fraud.
Speaker A:You would be a hypocrite if you were the Healer.
Speaker A:If you were the healer and you had sickness in your own body, and you're trying to convince other people that they need the, you know, they need a touch from you, then you would be a fraud.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:But here's the thing.
Speaker A:You aren't the healer.
Speaker A:The healing power of God doesn't come from you.
Speaker A:It flows through you.
Speaker A:It's Jesus.
Speaker A:Jesus Christ, that who is the healer.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And all of the healing power that flows through us comes from Him.
Speaker A:So for us to say, you know, I've got sickness in my own body there, I therefore, I can't pray for somebody else.
Speaker A:Although we can make that a rational conclusion from a natural mindset, it's not a scriptural one.
Speaker A:It's not a scriptural one because the healing power of God flows through us and touches other people.
Speaker A:You know, I've seen blind people lay hands on blind.
Speaker A:This, and this is in Mexico, actually.
Speaker A:A blind person lay hands on a blind person, and they both started seeing, right?
Speaker A:And he had to get over the fact that, you know what?
Speaker A:I'm blind.
Speaker A:But I still believe that healing belongs to me.
Speaker A:I still believe that Jesus is the healer.
Speaker A:I still believe that because I'm a believer.
Speaker A:Believers lay hands on the sick and they recover.
Speaker A:So I'm going to go lay hands on this person.
Speaker A:And, you know, that healing power can flow through me.
Speaker A:And, you know, when that guy, that guy that was blind was bold enough to say, even though I have my own limitations, I'm not going to let those limitations stop me from administering the healing power of God to somebody else.
Speaker A:Because it's Jesus that's the healer, not me.
Speaker A:When he humbled himself and did that and went beyond natural limitations and beyond his own fear and vulnerabilities, you know, the healing power of God flowed through him.
Speaker A:Not only healed the person of blindness that he was laying hands on, but that healing power as it flowed through his body was plenty enough to take away his blindness.
Speaker A:Also, I've seen two people, they were both prayer ministers, another example of this.
Speaker A:And I was training premises for a conference.
Speaker A:And one lady, she was a prayer minister, and she didn't want to disclose that she had cancer.
Speaker A:She was suffering with cancer.
Speaker A:And it was a rare kind of cancer in.
Speaker A:In her face that had affected all of her nerves, her vision, her hearing.
Speaker A:It was all down one side of her face.
Speaker A:And she didn't want to disclose this because she thought, well, you know, they might not let me minister to people.
Speaker A:You know, that might be.
Speaker A:That might be a hindrance.
Speaker A:So she kept it to herself.
Speaker A:So I didn't know anything about her condition when I put her on the prayer line, and it wouldn't have made any difference to me, honestly, anyway, but she was there on the prayer line, and so nobody knew this fact.
Speaker A:But, you know, it's quite a large conference, and it was one of the conferences where people were coming down to the altar for ministry and ushers were directing, you know, the crowd and.
Speaker A:And kind of feeding people one at a time to each prayer minister as they became available.
Speaker A:Well, just so turns out that this lady had a person that was sent to her, another lady that also had exactly the same kind of very rare cancer on that side of the face.
Speaker A:And it was the other side of the face.
Speaker A:They were like mirror images of each other.
Speaker A:And, you know, as she laid hands, as our pregnancy laid hands on this lady that had the same kind of cancer as her, you know, the power of God hit these two ladies and they.
Speaker A:They just hit the floor.
Speaker A:I mean, they just hit the floor.
Speaker A:We thought, wow, that, you know, something's going to go going on over there.
Speaker A:Well, we didn't know the full story until a few moments later when they came around.
Speaker A:They, you know, the ushers helped them up off the floor.
Speaker A:And it turns out that both those ladies, they had their eyesight back, they had their hearing back, they had no pain in the face.
Speaker A:We believe that cancer completely went in both of those ladies.
Speaker A:In fact, all of the outward symptoms of that cancer would have confirmed that.
Speaker A:And that's just because those two individuals went beyond natural limitations in their own body and stopped allowing that to be a hindrance.
Speaker A:You know, this is so powerful.
Speaker A:Let me help you with this, okay?
Speaker A:When you pray for somebody else, when you lay hands on somebody else for some sort of symptom in their body, you, in your own body are not feeling any of their symptoms.
Speaker A:You're not having to overcome any pain or anguish in your own body, any symptoms in your own body.
Speaker A:When you lay hands on somebody else, all of the symptoms are in the person that you're praying for right now.
Speaker A:This is very different because when you're overcoming and believe in God for healing in your own body, you have a battle there with natural symptoms, physical symptoms, you know, pain on the inside of you kind of speaks loud.
Speaker A:There's, you know, there's an extra level of focus it takes to get beyond your flesh and into.
Speaker A:Into a spirit realm because you have to overcome those natural limitations.
Speaker A:You don't have to overcome any of those.
Speaker A:When you're praying for somebody Else it's so much easier to pray for other people and not have to overcome the symptoms in your own body.
Speaker A:So much easier.
Speaker A:But here's the side effect and this is what I want you to, to hear today.
Speaker A:If you're sick in your own body, but find somebody else that's sick and pray for them.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because as you pray for them not having to overcome any physical symptoms that's already in their body, the power of God flows through your body into them.
Speaker A:And the side effect is there is a residual amount of healing power that's more than enough to heal your own symptoms.
Speaker A:Man, this is the easiest way that I know to get a breakthrough.
Speaker A:If you've got come into a position where you have found yourself stuck, maybe you have been, you know, studying healing for many years, maybe you've been believing God for many years for healing in your own body and you just don't, don't seem to be able to get a breakthrough.
Speaker A:Go find some other people to pray for.
Speaker A:Why is that?
Speaker A:Because you're going beyond the, the character and nature of that sickness that's residing on the inside of you.
Speaker A:You're making it subdue when you say to your flesh, shut up, flesh.
Speaker A:I don't care if you call me a fraud.
Speaker A:I don't care if I have self doubt and unbelief.
Speaker A:I don't care if I have fear and anxiety.
Speaker A:I'm going to go lay hands on the sick because I believe that believers lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
Speaker A:I know that the power of God flows through me because the Word says it does.
Speaker A:And I'm going to go, I'm going to reach out from beyond my own stuff to minister to somebody else.
Speaker A:I'm going to, I'm going to stop allowing that sickness and disease to make me isolate and make me withdraw and make me go inside of myself and look at everything that was wrong.
Speaker A:And I'm going to look up and look out and show the love of God and compassion to other people.
Speaker A:I tell you that has to do that.
Speaker A:We are literally subduing the nature of sickness on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And that's powerful because it's like saying to sickness, I'm putting you in your place.
Speaker A:It's time to put sickness in its place.
Speaker A:I'm not listening to you.
Speaker A:I'm not going to let you limit me anymore.
Speaker A:I'm not going to let you hide away and withdraw from people anymore.
Speaker A:I'm not going to listen to you anymore telling you all the things I can't do.
Speaker A:I'm just going to go out and do the work of the Lord.
Speaker A:I'm going to go out and do the Great Commission, and the power of God's going to flow through me, and it's nothing to do with me.
Speaker A:Because Jesus is the healer.
Speaker A:Men, when we get that kind of attitude, that is powerful.
Speaker A:Megan's on here saying, I'm a prayer minister.
Speaker A:I see many healings, but not much in my own body.
Speaker A:You know, this is really fascinating.
Speaker A:Angela's saying, is this like the law of sowing and reaping?
Speaker A:Let me explain this a little bit, Jesus.
Speaker A:So you could say it's like sowing and reaping, but except Jesus sowed his own body.
Speaker A:He sowed himself on the cross, right?
Speaker A:So that you can reap the benefits of healing.
Speaker A:So I want you to understand that because it's not like the more that we pray for other people, the more righteous or worthy it makes us to receive healing.
Speaker A:That's a wrong mindset.
Speaker A:We're not ministering healing to other people to earn healing for ourselves.
Speaker A:Women healing to other people, because that's the gospel, right?
Speaker A:Because it's available because we love God and we love His Word and because this is.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:This is part of the life, the normal life of a believer to share the person that you love, Jesus, your best friend, with other people, right?
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:But as we do that, there is a.
Speaker A:There is still a side effect.
Speaker A:That is the power of God flowing through us, and that has a benefit for our own body.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So that's an important distinction there.
Speaker A:But another reason why you can pray for other people and you can see more breakthroughs with other people than you do in your own body.
Speaker A:Let me explain the difference.
Speaker A:When you minister healing to somebody else, you're operating in a gift of the spirit.
Speaker A:It could be the gift of healings or the working of miracles, right?
Speaker A:Or the gift of faith.
Speaker A:Those power gifts, you're operating in a gift of the spirit.
Speaker A:And those gifts.
Speaker A:We have a whole lesson on the gifts of the Spirit that we've.
Speaker A:I have.
Speaker A:I don't think I've covered it in the healing module, but we have it on Power Academy.
Speaker A:When we are operating in the gifts of the Spirit is as the Holy Spirit wills.
Speaker A:It says in Corinthians.
Speaker A:As the Holy Spirit wills for the profit of all.
Speaker A:First Corinthians, chapter 12.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:For the profit of all.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:So when we're.
Speaker A:When we're operating in spiritual gifts, those spiritual gifts are working outside of us for other people.
Speaker A:But when you have healing, when you have sickness in your own body and you need to rebuke something and stand in authority, you're not using a spiritual gift.
Speaker A:You're using the authority that you have as a believer in Christ.
Speaker A:So that's different, different mechanisms when we're praying for others and when we're speaking over our own body.
Speaker A:And also, like I said, sometimes the reason we don't see.
Speaker A:We see a lot more results in praying for other people than even our own body is because there's that natural limitation of just all of those physical symptoms talking to us.
Speaker A:This natural unbelief, okay, that we.
Speaker A:That takes a little bit of overcoming.
Speaker A:And the way that we do that.
Speaker A:There's many ways to overcome that.
Speaker A:Prayer and fasting is a good one to overcome unnatural unbelief.
Speaker A:But I want to read this scripture here, okay?
Speaker A:This is in Philemon, verse 6.
Speaker A:It says that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing that's in you.
Speaker A:In Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:The first step to ministering to other people is acknowledging.
Speaker A:Acknowledging just means to say thank you.
Speaker A:That's in the.
Speaker A:In a book we have.
Speaker A:You know, I think I have an acknowledgment page in.
Speaker A:In the front of here.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Acknowledgments, acknowledgements.
Speaker A:In the front of a book, right?
Speaker A:This is the place where you say thank you to all the people that helped me write this book, all the people that inspired me over my life, you know, help.
Speaker A:You know, you create this.
Speaker A:This dream and make it a reality.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:You know, when we.
Speaker A:When we say thank you, we are acknowledging something.
Speaker A:And so the.
Speaker A:It says here, our faith, the sharing of our faith becomes effective.
Speaker A:You have faith, you have faith.
Speaker A:You might have faith the size of a mustard seed, but you have faith.
Speaker A:You have dead.
Speaker A:Raising faith on the inside of you.
Speaker A:The faith of Jesus on the inside of you is a powerful force.
Speaker A:You do not lack in the faith department.
Speaker A:You have more than enough faith to raise the dead, heal the sick, or cast any demon in hell.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's.
Speaker A:That's the truth.
Speaker A:But it says the sharing of our faith may become effective.
Speaker A:So you can have faith without it.
Speaker A:You can have ineffective faith.
Speaker A:You can have effective faith, and you can have ineffective faith.
Speaker A:Still you have faith.
Speaker A:It just means that when you're using it, when you're not, right, if you're using the faith you have, it becomes effective.
Speaker A:If you're not using, it becomes dormant.
Speaker A:It's still there.
Speaker A:It still has Full potential, but you're not doing anything with it.
Speaker A:So it says here that your faith becomes effective How?
Speaker A:By the acknowledgment that giving.
Speaker A:Thank you God of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:And you know, this is such a powerful scripture, but it is completely alien to everything that sickness and disease and the nature of sickness and disease will tell us and talk to us about that you know, the nature of sickness and disease will tell you that you're nothing, that you're a loser, that you can't.
Speaker A:That you won't.
Speaker A:That you.
Speaker A:You're born in the right, wrong place at the wrong time and you're never going to achieve everything.
Speaker A:It will go through all the list of things your doctor told you you shouldn't do.
Speaker A:It'll tell you no.
Speaker A:It will tell you you can't.
Speaker A:It's constantly negative.
Speaker A:But you know, faith for it to become effective, we've got to move away from the constantly negative and stop moving into the grateful.
Speaker A:Thank you God that you put your son, you put power on the inside of me.
Speaker A:Thank you God that you.
Speaker A:You've put life on the inside.
Speaker A:You start thanking God for every good thing that's on the inside of you in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you God that you put your holy spirit on the inside of me.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord that you've given me your wisdom.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord that you've given me your name and your direction and your DNA.
Speaker A:That you've given me authority and power over the the works of the enemy.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord that you haven't left me like a streaking Christian, right?
Speaker A:But you know, with just the helm of salvation on and naked in any every other sense.
Speaker A:But you've given me a full armor of spiritual gifts.
Speaker A:Thank you God that you never leave me or forsake me.
Speaker A:You can start getting into the acknowledgment and thanking God for every good thing that is put on the inside of you in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:Man, that is a powerful twist.
Speaker A:Some of you need to do that when you wake up in the morning and, and start, you know, looking in the mirror because you know you God made you.
Speaker A:He made you unique.
Speaker A:Don't curse what God has made precious and says is holy.
Speaker A:He made you precious.
Speaker A:He made you unique.
Speaker A:He set you apart and made you holy.
Speaker A:Don't curse yourself, don't speak evil over yourself, don't be down on yourself, don't confess all of these icons when God says I can, you know, the scripture says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens Me, man, you can start confessing those things powerful.
Speaker A:And it starts to make your faith become effective.
Speaker A:You know, our spirit, man, is full of life and power from God.
Speaker A:And the.
Speaker A:And the fruits of the spirit are always alive on the inside of us.
Speaker A:We are who he says that we are.
Speaker A:And if you're confused about this, then look, we have something we can help you with there.
Speaker A:This confession card is free on our website.
Speaker A:You can get that for free.
Speaker A:It's our confession, our identity confession card.
Speaker A:It tells you who I am.
Speaker A:And you write your name at the top.
Speaker A:I am.
Speaker A:And it tells you all of who God says that you are in Scripture, right?
Speaker A:Get that confession card.
Speaker A:That'll help you, you know, start agreeing, start giving thanks to God for how he created you.
Speaker A:He didn't create you with sickness and disease, right?
Speaker A:He didn't create you with genetic conditions.
Speaker A:He didn't create you with something broken or missing or.
Speaker A:Or defunct in some way.
Speaker A:He didn't create people outside of perfection.
Speaker A:That's just part of living in a fallen world, you know, he created you to be just like him.
Speaker A:And as we start to give thanks to God for those things, you know, our faith, the faith that may have been dormant for years, starts to become alive.
Speaker A:Starts to become alive.
Speaker A:Right, Pat?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:You have that card?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Get it out.
Speaker A:Read it.
Speaker A:Every day, Every time you're down, every time you.
Speaker A:You feel frustrated, every time something goes, you read it out.
Speaker A:You let your body know, right?
Speaker A:Remind your body it's.
Speaker A:It needs to hear the word of God.
Speaker A:You know, this scripture in Second Corinthians 3, 4, 6, it says, and we have such trust through Christ towards God.
Speaker A:Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiencies from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the New Covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit.
Speaker A:For the letter kills, but the Spirit, Spirit gives life.
Speaker A:Man, listen to this.
Speaker A:I want you to see this.
Speaker A:He says here, we don't have a sufficiency, that is, of ourselves, but the minute that we get born again, we become sufficient as ministers of the New Covenant.
Speaker A:And our sufficiency now is from God.
Speaker A:So if you thought.
Speaker A:If you think, oh, I'm inadequate, I'm not enough.
Speaker A:I can't do it.
Speaker A:I can't.
Speaker A:You know, I'm just timid.
Speaker A:I'm just a.
Speaker A:Afraid.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker A:I'm just poor.
Speaker A:I'm just weak.
Speaker A:I'm just whatever, whatever miserable little lie you've believed, right?
Speaker A:You know, it's time to Turn around and say, hang on a minute.
Speaker A:The Word says something different about me.
Speaker A:What am I going to agree with what I see in the mirror or what the God says?
Speaker A:Because God says I'm sufficient.
Speaker A:That I have, you know, sufficient means enough.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker A:I'm enough.
Speaker A:You know, God's sufficiency is more than enough.
Speaker A:That's a great confession for you to have.
Speaker A:I am more than enough in Christ.
Speaker A:I am more than enough in Christ.
Speaker A:In Christ, right, You have a sufficiency that comes from God that makes up and takes over any inadequacy that you might have in the flesh.
Speaker A:You might be no good thing, but you're never just in the flesh.
Speaker A:God never leaves you or forsakes you.
Speaker A:You're always with him.
Speaker A:You're always in Christ.
Speaker A:It's too late.
Speaker A:You've been in Christ.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:In Christ you are sufficient.
Speaker A:And you're never outside of him.
Speaker A:Once you get born again, you are sufficient.
Speaker A:We are sufficient in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:And that is the grace of God that enables us.
Speaker A:Grace of God.
Speaker A:Most of us are so familiar with our failings, we're much more likely to fall into a trap of low self esteem than being overzealous.
Speaker A:We really are right.
Speaker A:And the world loves to tell you why you can't do something.
Speaker A:And it's natural for us to gravitate towards the negative.
Speaker A:But, you know, we need to.
Speaker A:We need to have the same opinion of us that the word of God has of us.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:I mean, if we're born again just for five minutes, we're qualified to minister the word of God.
Speaker A:Let me just say that you're qualified to minister the word of God if you've been born again for just a few minutes.
Speaker A:And there's a whole.
Speaker A:There's a whole.
Speaker A:I might do a thing on this.
Speaker A:Actually, there's a whole controversy about this right now because the Southern Baptist Convention has just come out and said that women can't be pastors and women teach unless they're teaching women unless they're teaching children.
Speaker A:That is baloney.
Speaker A:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:That is absolute unscriptural nonsense.
Speaker A:And they've taken a few scriptures and they've twisted them out of context and now are oppressing half the population of the world.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Doesn't that sound like something that the devil would just have a field day about?
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:But you are sufficient to be a minister of the gospel, to be a minister of the world.
Speaker A:Not because it comes from yourself, not because your sufficiency isn't linked to a gender.
Speaker A:Your sufficiency isn't linked to a qualification.
Speaker A:Your sufficiency isn't linked to your own previous experiences.
Speaker A:Your sufficiency comes from God.
Speaker A:God makes you sufficient as a minister of the Word.
Speaker A:And there is no.
Speaker A:There's no male or female in God.
Speaker A:He's impartial when it comes to that.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So he makes you.
Speaker A:He makes you sufficient.
Speaker A:Okay, so what's.
Speaker A:What's another hindrance then?
Speaker A:What if this is true?
Speaker A:If we have all this power available to us, why aren't we going out, ministering to healing, to.
Speaker A:To other people?
Speaker A:Especially, you know, if we hearing that there is a.
Speaker A:There is a positive side effect for our physical condition.
Speaker A:Well, fear.
Speaker A:Fear is a big one.
Speaker A:That is a big one.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:What if people think I'm weird?
Speaker A:What if people reject me?
Speaker A:What if they say no?
Speaker A:What if I'm wrong?
Speaker A:What if I pray for someone and it gets worse?
Speaker A:Or I pray for someone and nothing happens?
Speaker A:Everyone goes through this.
Speaker A:Everyone.
Speaker A:Okay, but we have a choice.
Speaker A:At the end of the day, are we going to be obedient to the word of God?
Speaker A:Are we going to be obedient to what God tells us to do?
Speaker A:Believers, lay hands on the sick.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Believers lay hands on the sick.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:Freely you have received.
Speaker A:Freely give, it says in Matthew 10.
Speaker A:Matthew 10, verse 8.
Speaker A:I think it is.
Speaker A:Freely you have received, freely give.
Speaker A:We are freely receiving today, right?
Speaker A:This live stream didn't cost you anything.
Speaker A:You're freely receiving today, right?
Speaker A:Well, it's time to freely give.
Speaker A:If you freely receive.
Speaker A:Freely give, right?
Speaker A:And so if we're not prepared to freely give of what we've received, you know, spiritually, of our time, of our effort, of our compassion, of our prayers, of our finance, if we're not able to touch, to do that, we're missing out on half the blessing.
Speaker A:There is a blessing that comes in receiving.
Speaker A:There's a blessing that comes.
Speaker A:That comes through giving.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And the scripture actually says it's more blessed to give than it is to receive.
Speaker A:And that works financially, yes, but it also works spiritually.
Speaker A:It also works in with Kingdom power.
Speaker A:Freely you have received the power of heaven on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Now go give it to someone else.
Speaker A:Go give it to someone else.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Don't let fear stop you.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:People might reject you.
Speaker A:It's true.
Speaker A:They might think you're weird.
Speaker A:They probably think you're weird anyway.
Speaker A:I mean, prove them right.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:They will talk about me.
Speaker A:We'll give Them something to talk about, right?
Speaker A:I mean, listen, we have to move away from being so afraid of people's rejection.
Speaker A:If Jesus was afraid of people's rejection, he never would have.
Speaker A:He never would.
Speaker A:Would have accomplished what he did on earth.
Speaker A:He never would have gone for the cross.
Speaker A:I mean, the whole.
Speaker A:The whole plan for the salvation of mankind would have been shipwrecked right there.
Speaker A:You know, people will reject you, and probably people have.
Speaker A:But, you know, the one thing that really matters is that you were accepted before you were rejected.
Speaker A:Read Ephesians, chapter one.
Speaker A:You have been accepted in the beloved.
Speaker A:You've been chosen by God.
Speaker A:Chosen by God and precious.
Speaker A:If God thinks you're chosen and blessed and precious, if he created you with a purpose and a plan and all those good things that are absolutely true about you, then why do we care so much if people reject us?
Speaker A:Why do we care so much, man?
Speaker A:God loves you.
Speaker A:If everyone else leaves you, God loves you.
Speaker A:God your provider.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:God will take care of you, man.
Speaker A:You are accepted by God before you were rejected by man.
Speaker A:And if we, if we submit to God, we will never have to fear anything in this world.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:If we fear God, we'll never have to fear man.
Speaker A:If we reverence God, if we worship God, that's the fear of the Lord, by the way, we'll never have to fear man.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So, so, so, so powerful.
Speaker A:So most of the time, fears, fears of failure, fears rejection, fears of humiliation keep us from stepping out where we feel led.
Speaker A:But extending the love of God so that someone else might receive their miracle is worth being rejected for.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:It might be a moment in your heart where you feel silly or you feel vulnerable.
Speaker A:You know, you feel like, oh, I don't want to upset people.
Speaker A:Well, man, isn't the prize worth it?
Speaker A:If someone gets.
Speaker A:I mean, and really, I mean, the amount of people that I've prayed for is very, very rare for people to reject an offer of prayer because it's so.
Speaker A:You know, it's.
Speaker A:Most people, if nothing else, are just grateful.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:That you.
Speaker A:You'd think to, you know, reach out, I mean, and think of me that way.
Speaker A:They might not understand.
Speaker A:They might not believe everything that you believe.
Speaker A:They might not know Jesus.
Speaker A:But the very fact that you showed enough compassion to another person, even as a complete stranger say, hey, I see you're in pain there.
Speaker A:Do you mind if I pray for you?
Speaker A:I mean, that just shows that you care.
Speaker A:And very, very rarely have I ever been rejected by someone from offering Them prayer.
Speaker A:You know, I had neighbors here and said, you know, I prayed for my neighbor the other day.
Speaker A:I'm like, listen, I'm praying for you.
Speaker A:She was going through something and says, I'm praying for you.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:I don't think she's a believer, but I'm praying for you.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:I want you to know that I'm a woman that prays and I'm praying for you because I love you and because I care for you.
Speaker A:And you know what, you know, it's an open door because there's an opportunity there to, to share the gospel with people.
Speaker A:It's worth feeling rejected for.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Ministry is, you know, it's like kind of like riding a bike.
Speaker A:You might feel a little bit wobbly when you first start riding your bike.
Speaker A:You might not be perfect, right.
Speaker A:You might be out of your comfort zone to start with.
Speaker A:But the more that you step out, the more that you get out of yourself, outside of yourself and out of your own head and your own self doubt and you know, you'll find it fun.
Speaker A:You'll become more, become something that's easier and more you're more confident in.
Speaker A:And sometimes you know what, you're going to pray for people and you're going to see instantaneous results and sometimes you're going to pray for people, you're not going to see anything.
Speaker A:And that's fine.
Speaker A:One thing I need you to know is you are not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:That's really important.
Speaker A:Put that in the comments.
Speaker A:I am not responsible for.
Speaker A:For results.
Speaker A:I'm not responsible for results, man, listen, this takes all the pressure off of you.
Speaker A:When you understand that your only job here is to lay hands on the sick and speak the word.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:Lay hands on the sick and speak the word.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:If you can just get your own unbelief and self doubt out the way, you're not responsible for what happens next.
Speaker A:That's all down to God.
Speaker A:It's not your reputation on the line, it's his.
Speaker A:And guess what?
Speaker A:He's not up in heaven thinking, oh please don't promise him that.
Speaker A:I'm not sure if I can deliver that man.
Speaker A:He's not worried about that.
Speaker A:He's not.
Speaker A:Be bold about the promises of God and don't worry about the results.
Speaker A:That's not your concern though.
Speaker A:You know, the, the word of God is not intimidated by results.
Speaker A:It's not intimidated by, by something happening or not happening.
Speaker A:It's not it.
Speaker A:You're not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:What Happens I say to people, listen, I'm going to lay hands on you, but you better get ready because, you know, I'm not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:I'm just.
Speaker A:I'm just.
Speaker A:I'm just a hand.
Speaker A:Talk to the hand I'm going to lay hands on.
Speaker A:Speak the word.
Speaker A:The rest is up to is between you and the Lord.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Nana says I'm not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:Faye says it, Lynette says it.
Speaker A:Doris says I'm not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:Sophie, Carla, Miriam.
Speaker A:Yeah, Come on.
Speaker A:You're Terry.
Speaker A:I'm not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:It's absolutely true.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Because if you think about it this way, if you led someone into salvation, if you shared the gospel with somebody and they received salvation, would you go around saying, yep, you know what I did, that I'm taking all the credit for that salvation.
Speaker A:You know, that was all me.
Speaker A:Thank you very much.
Speaker A:Yes, you can, you know, wave palm leaves at me.
Speaker A:You know, kiss the baby, shake the hands.
Speaker A:No, you wouldn't go around taking credit for that.
Speaker A:You'd say, man, what an opportunity, what a privilege, what an honor that was to be able to participate in a small way in someone's salvation.
Speaker A:They received Jesus.
Speaker A:They didn't receive you.
Speaker A:They received Jesus.
Speaker A:You wouldn't take credit for somebody's salvation.
Speaker A:So if you're not responsible for the good results, why would you be responsible for any negative results?
Speaker A:That doesn't make sense.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:But what people do is they say, well, if I pray for somebody and, you know, I don't see any change, you know, or, you know, nothing happens that I can see, then I'm responsible for that.
Speaker A:No, you're not.
Speaker A:You're not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:You just be obedient to what the Lord tells you to do.
Speaker A:Believers lay hands on the sick and they share a cover freely.
Speaker A:If you've received or freely give, that's it.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:Don't buy the line.
Speaker A:Because that is a fear, the seed of fear that the enemy plants to stop you from really doing the will of God.
Speaker A:And, you know, one of the reasons he doesn't want you to go lay hands on the sick is because he doesn't want that person to be well and doesn't want you to be well either.
Speaker A:He wants you to be sick and miserable.
Speaker A:Misery loves company, right?
Speaker A:So if we would just get out there, laying more hands on people would seem we'd see more healing.
Speaker A:We would.
Speaker A:We have Jesus on the inside of us, and.
Speaker A:And we're qualified.
Speaker A:Qualified.
Speaker A:Sometimes you Know, I used to struggle a lot with fear.
Speaker A:I've written a whole book about it called Fearless.
Speaker A:Actually, it's a coffee kind of afternoon, people.
Speaker A:You know, I used to struggle an awful lot with fear.
Speaker A:It used to be a real problem, and most of that just came from unresolved trauma in my life.
Speaker A:But I always thought the worst was going to happen.
Speaker A:And if something was going good, I always just thought it was, you know, hold my breath, you know, because it's just a matter of time before, you know, another wave comes crashing down over my head again and I start drowning again, right?
Speaker A:I mean, it's.
Speaker A:It's just like every now and I come again, I'd be drowning.
Speaker A:But then I'd have a breakthrough and I'd come up for air, you know, and I catch a break.
Speaker A:But then I was always watching for the next wave.
Speaker A:I just always had this sense of impending doom and impending fear.
Speaker A:And it was really just unresolved trauma things that I've been through.
Speaker A:It was a mindset that became really repetitive.
Speaker A:And, you know, fear.
Speaker A:One of the things with fear is it's habitual.
Speaker A:It says In Hebrews chapter 2, verses 14 and 15 that Jesus actually, let's read that, because that's a really good scripture.
Speaker A:You know, fear has an assignment, and it will literally hold you hostage.
Speaker A:Come on, Bible, load up.
Speaker A:This is in Hebrews, chapter two.
Speaker A:I'm going to quote it because I'm going to probably mess it up.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:We'll start in verse 14.
Speaker A:Inasmuch then, as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself, Jesus likewise shared in the same that through the.
Speaker A:Through death he might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil.
Speaker A:Jesus destroyed the power of death through the devil and 15 and released those who through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Speaker A:So fear has a bondage assignment that is a lifetime, lifetime bondage.
Speaker A:You know, can you imagine that if there was a.
Speaker A:An outlet called lifetime bondage, would you go to it?
Speaker A:No, you wouldn't.
Speaker A:Because you're like, I want to sign up for that.
Speaker A:I want to sign up for a lifetime of bondage.
Speaker A:You wouldn't even enter into that store.
Speaker A:You wouldn't even go in there, right?
Speaker A:You would.
Speaker A:You wouldn't want to.
Speaker A:You drive on by.
Speaker A:But fear is.
Speaker A:Is a tool of the enemy, and it's lifetime of bondage.
Speaker A:Jesus destroyed the power of death.
Speaker A:The fear of death is.
Speaker A:Is.
Speaker A:Actually, psychologists have studied this down.
Speaker A:They said there is the fear that underpins all fears is the fear, ultimately the fear of death.
Speaker A:And so this is one of the things that people really struggle with when it comes to sickness is, is the fear of death.
Speaker A:And it's a lifetime of bondage.
Speaker A:You can say, well you know, I'm afraid of being in pain, I'm afraid of being alone, I'm afraid of being poor, I'm afraid of starving, afraid of being rejected, whatever, you know, I'm just afraid of being lonely, whatever it is.
Speaker A:But ultimately it's that fear of isolation that leads to death, being cut off.
Speaker A:Jesus destroyed the fear.
Speaker A:And so the way that I overcame that lifetime bondage assignment that fear had on my life was to stop entertaining it, stop listening to it, stop cooperating with it, stop agreeing with it, stop speaking it out, stop confident confessing it over my own body, stop cursing my own body.
Speaker A:You know, we, I had to change my self talk, you know, I had to start moving into thank you Lord that you haven't given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord.
Speaker A:That perfect love in me casts out fear, right?
Speaker A:We, this is where faith becomes effective.
Speaker A:Through that acknowledging, acknowledge the things of God on the inside of me as being greater than the fear that was trying to get, that was surrounding me.
Speaker A:Greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So moving through fear, sometimes I had to do things afraid.
Speaker A:I remember when I was a Bible college student, one of our first ever assignments after three, three months of being in Bible college and in our first year was to do a 10 minute talk.
Speaker A:And I just thought, you know I'm going to die, right?
Speaker A:This is terrible.
Speaker A:I never had any desire to do any kind of public speaking whatsoever.
Speaker A:And I just thought, man, I was praying for the rapture.
Speaker A:It was, you know, I'd rather have gone to the dentist and had my teeth pulled out without anesthetic.
Speaker A:It was that bad.
Speaker A:I just, I thought like I, I just don't, don't want to do it, just don't want to do it.
Speaker A:And you know, I knew we, it was part of the course and I knew like to, to graduate Bible college, I'm gonna have to do stuff like this and I'm probably gonna have to do more of it.
Speaker A:And this is, this is just the first, you know, the first thing.
Speaker A:And I thought, man, I don't know that I could speak for a minute on anything in front of people, never mind 10 minutes.
Speaker A:I don't know that I've got That many words on the inside of me.
Speaker A:And so I went to the Lord in prayer and, and I was like, lord, you know, and, and you know, he said to me was, do it afraid, do it anyway, do it anyway.
Speaker A:He said it was almost like, are you, you have a choice?
Speaker A:Are you gonna, are you gonna let fear stop you doing things?
Speaker A:This is a word for somebody today.
Speaker A:Are you gonna let fear stop you or are you gonna let faith empower you?
Speaker A:That's a question.
Speaker A:You get to, you get determined.
Speaker A:Are you going to let fear stop you or are you going to let faith empower you?
Speaker A:Because whatever you feed is going to grow, right?
Speaker A:And you can't feed faith and fear at the same time.
Speaker A:If you're feeding faith, you're going to be starving fear.
Speaker A:If you're feeding fear, you're going to be starving faith.
Speaker A:So whichever mindset you agree with is the one that you're feeding.
Speaker A:Are you feeding faith or are you feeding fear?
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:To, to, to feed the realm, in the realm of faith.
Speaker A:We, we're acknowledging we're in, in thanksgiving.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, God.
Speaker A:We're word minded.
Speaker A:We're confessing the word.
Speaker A:We're outward looking.
Speaker A:We're looking for opportunities outside of ourselves.
Speaker A:We're outward looking, looking for opportunities to minister to others, to feed fear.
Speaker A:We're confessing all the things that we can't do.
Speaker A:We eat all the things that won't work for us, all the things that haven't worked in the past.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:It's a lifetime of bondage.
Speaker A:It's a lifetime of bondage.
Speaker A:We've got to change that self talk if we're going to see a breakthrough.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:We've got to get out of ourselves.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:Carolyn said fear of being tired.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Some people might have a fear of being tired.
Speaker A:That's another one.
Speaker A:And you know I would use the word of God in that.
Speaker A:No, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Speaker A:He renews my strength like the eagles.
Speaker A:Blessed is the sleep of the righteous.
Speaker A:He'll be sweet, sweet sleep.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I mean you can use a scripture.
Speaker A:You can counteract any lie of the enemy with the scripture.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Anything Delian says.
Speaker A:I'm going to let faith empower me.
Speaker A:Yeah, you put in the comments which one you're going to feed.
Speaker A:Are you going to, are you going to feed fear or.
Speaker A:I'm going to feed faith.
Speaker A:You know, this is important.
Speaker A:A friend of mine, she's a preacher actually, and she was talking about the things that we say and she said, you know, if you just add at the end of your sentence, and that's exactly how I want it to be, it'll really make you look at what you're saying.
Speaker A:So if you say things like, you know what?
Speaker A:I'm so overweight, and that's exactly how I want it to be, you'll be like, hang on a minute.
Speaker A:I don't agree with that statement.
Speaker A:That's not exactly how I want it to be.
Speaker A:I'm so tired all the time, I can.
Speaker A:I hardly have energy for anything, and that's exactly how I want it to be.
Speaker A:No, that's not exactly how I want it to be.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:I mean, I. I never have enough money for anything.
Speaker A:I can't afford it.
Speaker A:And that's exactly how I want it to be.
Speaker A:You'll be like, hang on a minute.
Speaker A:I don't agree with that.
Speaker A:And you'll start realizing that some of the statements that come out of our mouth are actually feeding fear and not feeding faith.
Speaker A:People says, yeah, I'm going to.
Speaker A:I'm going to feed faith.
Speaker A:I'm going to feed faith.
Speaker A:But Rafa's like, I'm going to.
Speaker A:I'm feeding faith.
Speaker A:Joy saying, I'm feeding faith.
Speaker A:You know, we.
Speaker A:We have to be intentional about this because we are literally swimming in an environment every day of fear.
Speaker A:And in order to counter that, we're going to have to be intentional with our words, intentional about how we spend our time, who we're listening to, you know, all those kinds of things, right?
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:So the last thing I have here is don't disqualify yourself.
Speaker A:Don't disqualify yourself.
Speaker A:The more that we step out and do something, the more that we're going to push through that boundary that fear tells us that we can't do it.
Speaker A:And symptoms in your own body are not ever a reason for not ministering healing to other people.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Healing is a byproduct, man.
Speaker A:There's a lot in this lesson I'm not going to get to, so we're gonna have to pick it up next time.
Speaker A:Healing is a byproduct of our relationship with God.
Speaker A:And this is almost as simple as giving God permission to let his power flow through us.
Speaker A:You know, the Lord wants to use you.
Speaker A:Whatever position you find yourself in today, the Lord wants to use you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He has a purpose for your life.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Things for you.
Speaker A:You're not done yet.
Speaker A:And my neighbor, I was talking to my neighbor this morning, and she was talking about this made me laugh.
Speaker A:She said, I was tired yesterday and I was tired the day before.
Speaker A:So now I'm just retired, man.
Speaker A:That's funny.
Speaker A:I said, how about you refire rather than retire, right?
Speaker A:How about you refire?
Speaker A:Some of us need to be refired, not retired.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:There's no retirement in the, in the word of God.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:God still has a plan for you, for your life.
Speaker A:Doesn't matter how old you are, he still has glorious things for you.
Speaker A:Your end will be more glorious than your beginning.
Speaker A:He's less people for you to touch, people for you to reach, people for you to love, people for you to administer the word, to minister the gospel too.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And, but we have to agree with him.
Speaker A:Yes, Lord, I thank you.
Speaker A:I asked you to use me.
Speaker A:I give you permission to use me.
Speaker A:You know, it might not look like I've got much, right?
Speaker A:I don't have.
Speaker A:Maybe I don't have much.
Speaker A:Maybe I don't feel like I have very much to give.
Speaker A:But Lord, you can, you can use it.
Speaker A:We give him permission.
Speaker A:Give him permission.
Speaker A:Carol says, I prayed for my mother the other day for a few issues and she got all healed.
Speaker A:This is awesome, right?
Speaker A:So you just stepped out and do this.
Speaker A:And healing is a byproduct of our relationship with the Lord.
Speaker A:You know, the, the more time that we spend spend really getting to know him and agreeing with his plan for our life, the more confident we'll become in this realm of ministry.
Speaker A:And this is so important.
Speaker A:So I want to encourage you.
Speaker A:Reach out, get beyond your comfort zone this week.
Speaker A:Do something.
Speaker A:This is your homework and I'm going to leave you a little homework here this week.
Speaker A:Do something that's a little beyond your comfort zone.
Speaker A:Reach out to people in your community.
Speaker A:Go beyond your four walls.
Speaker A:And maybe if you can't leave the house, you have a phone, you can text, you can call, you can use your computer, right?
Speaker A:You can, you can write an email, you know, go, go minister to somebody else.
Speaker A:Go and ask your neighbors, how can I pray for you?
Speaker A:How can I minister to, to you?
Speaker A:How can I help you today?
Speaker A:And as we minister to other people, you know, and, and take care of other people's needs, the power of God flows through, through us and touches us also.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So, Father God, thank you, thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that your healing power is flowing through us right now in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that your power is flowing through us from the top of our head to the very souls of our feet, Lord.
